111707 Sometimes I'd wipe under my clothes. :3 lol

111707 @ Bisky - Fast food tacos are sometimes all right, but don't eat them too often. haha

I didn't know there was a sauce to put on bacon. We just fry the bacon and eat it that way. :3

Please share your Bisky Magic. D8 When I eat cheesy things I'm like: Eat a piece, wipe hands on a napkin, eats another piece, wipe hands on a napkin... and so on. xD

111707 @Kamil - I love bread, too. :3 And chocolate is definitely worth the side effects. x3

@G.G. - I love how he calls pizza clothed :3

@Ethan - Cheeto/Dorito fingers gross me out. xD That's why I don't like eating them. Your character reminds me of my female ---person who eats nothing but sweets.

I couldn't imagine having to pose as a vegetarian. D8

111707 @Michael - I imagined both the poem and movie of Beowulf while reading that. Fried apples and onions sound good. :3 And coffee >w
@Bisky - :3 When I was in New York City, they have a huge M&M's shop and it smelled a lot like chocolate. My adviser didn't want to go inside because she can't stand the smell, so I applied that idea to the story. xD

Pickles are amazing. I ate like 10 of them yesterday when I got home from college for the weekend. :3

Fizzy drinks--I'll keep that in mind. My male lead is a Russian Immigrant, but his mother learned English from a British teacher, so he uses some British language. I'll keep 'fizzy' drinks in mind. In my state, we call it 'pop.' :3

What's HP sauce? Tell him getting the runs isn't something to be ashamed of. In my old draft, my male lead likes to eat fast food tacos, and sometimes he gets 'sick' and that ruins 'intimate' times with Nelly. xD

I can see Nick's reasons. xD

111707 Such a catastrophe is beyond human comprehension. D8

111707 I thought of this on the way back from lunch yesterday. xD

What is your character's favourite food? Why is that? What is your character's most-hated food? Why?

What's your character's favourite beverage? Does he drink soda (or pop or soft drinks--depending on the region)? Does she like coffee or tea? If so, does she add sugar, cream, flavoured creamers, or sweetener? Maybe she hates coffee and tea all together. Does he drink alcohol? If so, what drinks?

---

My protagonist, Nelly loves pickles and breadsticks. She grew up eating a lot of fresh bread. Their apartment was above a bakery, and her father (a fashion designer) would make uniforms for the bakery employees in exchange for free baked goods. She likes pickles because she loves sour foods. She hates anything sweet because sweets make her vomit. One time she went into a chocolate store that smells of chocolate and vomited immediately.

She likes any unsweetened drinks. She likes unsweetened iced tea and black, very very bold coffee. She prefers the local--only-in-one-spot coffee from a SoHo, New York coffee shop near her father's newer apartment. She likes to drink beer and sometimes harder booze.

What about all your characters? :3

111707 Mold sounds more evil than someone banning coffee and tea ):

111707 @Bisky - Just one reader makes it worth it! :3
@Dionne - That's awesome! It's fun reading in front of a group, but very terrifying.

I just remembered I went to an Open Mic Night back in Fall 2010 with much of my Creative Writing class. I read the first chapter of my old, old novel, and the people there liked it. x3 A guy from the school paper (this is before I joined) was there writing a story for it, and he said in the article that my chapter had an anime-feel to it. :3

111707 :3 I can't spell either. xD My English professor can't spell either and one of my Education professors, too. lol xP

111707 haha! I love that binder!

111707 There was a guy I worked with who enjoyed The Scarlet Ribbon when it was a short story with a chapter every month in my school paper over a year ago. :3

I also had a 3-chapter short story the year before, and my boss loved it. :3

111707 I sometimes have that problem, too. D8

I just keep reading and try to brush off the annoyance. Remind yourself it's entirely pleasure reading. :3

111707 @Bisky - They didn't have computers, so they had to hand-write their papers... I guess they had type-writers, but I'm guessing they had written rough drafts. xD I'm glad they didn't have iPads when I was in elementary school. :3

@Karen - Keep the goods classified until print. :3

My brother has really small handwriting. I don't even remember what I got. xD

111707 You have more exciting family stories than I do. xD That's really frightening. But like how your great grandpa just says 'don't worry about hitting her, you'll only pass right through her.' x3 - The friend's probably like O_o
Sep 13, 2013 05:07AM

111707 @Bisky - I just wonder if older people have better handwriting because they have more experience? :3

When I was in primary/elementary school they made us write in cursive, too. The teacher said we had to write 3 sentences in cursive and like 2 in print.

@Karen - At least your creative writing notes can remain 'encrypted.' :P

111707 My grandpa had wonderful handwriting. :3

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has ping-pong writing. xD

111707 I thought of this tonight when I was jotting down scene notes while waiting for the hot water to kick in.

Do you like your handwriting? Do you envy someone you know's handwriting? And when you hand write something, do you print or write in cursive?

I don't mind my handwriting. I take notes for a student in my biology class, and she likes it because it's very, very readable compared to her other note-takers.

I usually write in cursive, but when taking notes for that student, I print. But sometimes I switch back and forth--my handwritten story parts are crazy. xD

111707 @Rick - All these celebrities and athletes are rich beyond imagination and they resort to using drugs and killing people... shows you what money does.

@J - deviantART is massing xD - I'm the same when it comes to enjoying the writing process because you have realistic face in mind. :3 Or even an anime drawing. xD

111707 @Nicole - The lighting doesn't match at all on that--it's a photoshop disaster. D8

@Dionne - I like to have covers made by artists, too. I've spent quite a bit, too. xD

@J.P. - I guess some people just take whatever they want off Google. Tsk. Tsk. lol Could you give as some details of a horror story or two? :3

@ Ken - For fonts, I always go onto free font web sites and see which ones can be used commercially. For the recent over I had done, the artist put the title on, but I also asked for one without the title because I kind of want to play with fonts on my own. xD

111707 It's just interesting how we all speak English, yet the English in various regions differs.

I notice a lot of people from other states go "'sup" when I say hello. A few from North Dakota say that, but not as many--
