Yaz elimizden ayrıldı, derin denizden kaplumbağalar gibi.

These three books I'll try to finish this summer. The Brain: The Story of You
by David Eagleman
I'm halfway of this book. And here is an interesting extract from the book.
"The cosmos turned out to be larger than we imagined from gazing at the sky. Similarly, the universe inside our heads extends far beyond the reach of our conscious experience."
Architects of Intelligence: The truth about AI from the people building it
by Martin Ford
I've already read a few pages of this book. It contains a set of interviews of researchers and developers who are currently contributing to the field of Artificial Intelligence.
After Babel: Aspects of Language and Translation by George Steiner
My interest in language has triggered me to keep this book on my reading list.
Still stuck in quarantine, but it will be lifted after a few days and I'm finally going back buying books again... Right now I'm re-reading some of the books I'm interested in. I'm reading Philippa Fisher's Fairy Godsister by Liz Kessler
The Flying Inn, by G.K. Chesterton, because of the "intense distrust of power and progressives, railing against prohibition, vegetarianism, theosophy, and other dreary and oppressive forces of modernity."
Avalon wrote: "Is there going to be a summer reading challenge this year?"I hope there will be, I'm so excited to do the challenge so it'd be sad if they won't do it this year
I'll be trying to finish some Robin Hobb series. So far I've started The Liveship Traders. Next will be The Tawny Man, followed by Fitz And The Fool. So that's 9 books so far.I may read some other books in-between, but I want to challenge myself to run through entire series without diversions or detours.
Quarantine has meant I’m putting away the more ‘serious’ books on my tbr, and I’ll instead be picking up some lighter, quicker reads that’ll contain a healthy dose of escapism. Right now, I’m planning on reading The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins, and Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare!

Sounds like a fabulous idea. We need some light humor right now. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.
I am planning on reading LOTS of books. 3 I'm planning on reading is The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West, Meet Me At Midnight by Jessica Pennington, and Every Other Weekend by Abigail Johnson.
i would love to Gone series by Michael Grant and Home oF peculiar children by ransom Riggs.
I think its time to tame two beasts this summer: War and Peace and Les Miserables. Also I am currently starting Epictetus and Aristotle (Discourses for Epictetus; Politics and Ethics for Aristotle. I have already read Plato since this quarantine madness began and got hooked with classic works).
Indeed, a long, long summer but a great time for me to read some heavy lifters.

Yazı geri almak bizim elimizde.
Going to check out your recommendations!!! And then, of course, some of my usual non-fiction type books.
This winter (in the Southern Hemisphere) I'll be reading many books, including Shards of Honor and Barrayar from the Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold (I am currently finishing reading Falling Free, also a Vorkosigan Saga book), A Door into Ocean by Joan Slonczewski and Her Smoke Rose Up Forever by James Tiptree Jr., all on my Kindle.

Neden bahsettiğini bilmiyorum, ama izolasyon düzenini bozmayı düşünüyorsanız, bunun çok iyi bir fikir olmayacağını düşünüyorum. Amerika'daki son protestolar yeterince uyarıcı olmalı.

Lucky, California quarantine isn't lifted till the 15, and even then it could potentially be longer and LA is still dangerous area

I definitely will be reading. I got the collected works of Jane Austen to read as well as the home library room we have with more than enough books.
Currently I am reading The Energy Codes and hope to start reading War and Peace soon. Just for some light reading

Demek istediğim, eğer hepimiz içeride kalır ve kılavuzu takip edersek, yine de bizim için biraz yaz kalmış olabilir. Kaplumbağalar sadece kirli sulardan kaçarlar.
This summer I want to read The Testaments by Margaret Atwood, Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith and Anne of Avonlea by M.L. Montgomery. Summer full of sequels ahead of me.
I want to start Mo Dao Zu Shi. Just finished The Untamed and I am obsessed. I can't wait to read it.
I've compiled some titles on my "Islands" shelf. See my comments on Moe the Dog in Tropical Paradise for ideas on how to use your imagination to feel like you're on a beach while reading at home! ;)
Is May the start of Summer? Cuz right now I'm enjoying Kingdom of liars and ink and sigil which are both pretty good so far

Technically, summer starts June 23rd. But you can count it!

Kabul.

This is a constant thing, but it would be nice for the world to not forget an entire Hemisphere exists XD will we be seeing "winter" reads and picks for the other half of the globe?

Lots of ARCs but most looking forward to The Summer Island Swap
by Samantha Tonge. This Is How I Lied
by Heather Gudenkauf. Then I'll go through my TBR list and see what I find.
I am so ready for the new Twilight book, not gonna lie! Will there be a summer reading challenge this year? Those are always so fun!
