Kevin Klehr Um. Er. Summer? Goodreads, you do understand the world wide web means the whole world. Not just the Northern Hemisphere.

It's as annoying as trying to post appearance dates and only having a drop down menu that only shows US cities.

Seriously? Summer Reading. Get global!

Sarah I'm going to reread The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings and try to work down my TBR list.

Also Once Upon a River by Dianne Setterfield was a great book that completely took me out of the quarantined present.

Shannon SA Just finished The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley, and can highly recommend for anyone looking for a feel-good summer read!
As I'm in the southern hemisphere and therefore heading into winter, I'm planning to read the 3 books of The Lord of the Rings.
I need to finish Less by Andrew Sean Greer first, and then I have 21 Lessons for the 21st Century by Yuval Noah Harari lined up.
Should keep me occupied :)

FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING . I made that one my summer challenge a while back . You will like it if you're a Tolkien fan .

Suzanne So where's the summer reading challenge? I loved doing it last year and was really looking forward to it this year. We want the summer reading challenge back, right y'all?

I agree it would be nice to have a winter reading guide for those heading into winter now. In fact, just have the summer/winter running concurrently to cover everyone. =)

Lucy Well, I'm going to finish An Ember In The Ashes series. I'm on book 2 (A Torch Against The Night) and I'm so excited for the fourth book to come out December 1! I'm also excited for Sabaa Tahir's (author of aeita series) first graphic novel of a trilogy to come out July 14 I think. Hmm...well I think I might read the Selection series too, I've heard those are good. And surprisingly, I haven't read the Hunger Games, so I'll be reading that, plus The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is coming out soon so...
