Dive Into Summer Reading!

for a second i thought it's summer reading challange ;D uf

Um. Er. Summer? Goodreads, you do understand the world wide web means the whole world. Not just the Northern Hemisphere.

It's as annoying as trying to post appearance dates and only having a drop down menu that only shows US cities.

Seriously? Summer Reading. Get global!

I cannot wait for Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Harrow the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir, and Empire of Gold by S.A. Chakraborty.

I will be reading the Harry Potter series and The Folk of the Air series.

I plan on rereading all of Rick Riordan's mythology serieses starting in july to lead up to the last book of the apollo series when it comes out

I will be rereading The Count if Monte Cristo....currently enjoying The Engineer's Wife

I'm going to reread The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings and try to work down my TBR list.

Also Once Upon a River by Dianne Setterfield was a great book that completely took me out of the quarantined present.

Just finished The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley, and can highly recommend for anyone looking for a feel-good summer read!
As I'm in the southern hemisphere and therefore heading into winter, I'm planning to read the 3 books of The Lord of the Rings.
I need to finish Less by Andrew Sean Greer first, and then I have 21 Lessons for the 21st Century by Yuval Noah Harari lined up.
Should keep me occupied :)

I'm reading two books by Julia Alvarez : Saving the World (2006) and Afterlife (2020). Next, I've got waiting, The Mountains Sing (2020), by Nguyen Phan Que Mai, and On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, by Ocean Vuong.

Hello Summer by Mary Kay Andrews and Swimming Lessons by Mary Alice Monroe for sure. Anything else that strikes my fancy off my bookshelves that I haven’t yet read.

I agree it would be nice to have a winter reading guide for those heading into winter now. In fact, just have the summer/winter running concurrently to cover everyone. =)

I think Tiger Mosquitoes: A Medical Crime Thriller by Kenneth J. Stein is an awesome summer read!

Well, I'm going to finish An Ember In The Ashes series. I'm on book 2 (A Torch Against The Night) and I'm so excited for the fourth book to come out December 1! I'm also excited for Sabaa Tahir's (author of aeita series) first graphic novel of a trilogy to come out July 14 I think. Hmm...well I think I might read the Selection series too, I've heard those are good. And surprisingly, I haven't read the Hunger Games, so I'll be reading that, plus The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is coming out soon so...
