message 254: by Nicola (new)

Nicola I love Goodreads. But you do know that it's summer only in the Northern Hemisphere? We Down Under are settling into winter reading. It would be nice if just once - or for that matter, all the time - the Internet could read 'It's summer reading time in the Northern Hemisphere' instead of making everyone below the equator feel that they just don't matter a fig.

message 255: by Dzesima (new)

Dzesima Mehulic The Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth :)

message 258: by Sondra (new)

Sondra Oitzinger I've binged all of Michael Ridpath's Magnus Iceland Mysteries. I'm keen to read the next one because I believe it will tell us more about Iceland in Michael's inimitable way. In the meantime, I'm going to try to get Winter Grave from my Library2Go and see if Helene Tursten will bridge the gap for me.

Your Common House Bat I'd love to read Surf Ache but it's expensive and the libraries in my area are still closed. :v

message 260: by Forrest (new)

Forrest How do I get rid of the summer reading ad at the top of the mobile site? It takes up space and is annoying, I want to disable it.
