Why?
Sometimes I just wished I could tinker with the blog hits on the blog, keep myself from seeing some of the search terms that landed people here.
Like, oh…say…
erotic sex stories to shag off
That falls into the category of… I DON’T WANT TO KNOW.

Book Questionnaire
Found this at Monkey Bear Reviews-a blog I found through a link on Karen Scott’s blog.
Since I’m bored, tired and stuck home with a sick kid, I figure this is a nice easy way to kill a blog post.

Which book has been on your shelves the longest?
Eek. Hard question-I guess the Bible my grandmother gave me when I was eight, or the few Little House on the Prairie books that haven’t fallen apart and been replaced.

Upcoming
A few years ago, I had a book out from an epublisher by the name of Triskelion. Triskelion shut down and I ended up with a couple of books with no home. I gave a couple of them to Samhain, ALWAYS YOURS and TALKING TO THE DEAD. Now I’m giving them one more… REDEMPTION, now titled THE REDEEMING, will be released in July from Samhain. I did some rewrites on it, cleaned it up some and expanded it a little. It’s definitely a cleaner story than it was.
I’m still waiting on the blurb and cover art,
The point of having a pen name…
I decided a long time ago if I started selling books, I wanted a pen name. I went through some really ridiculous ones when I was still in the ‘thinking about writing’ for a living phase. Or at least they seemed ridiculous for a while. There are some names now, I swear, they make me scratch my head and wonder… what in the world…
Anyway, I picked a pen name because I wanted privacy. I didn’t necessarily want everybody and their brother knowing what I did for a living. If I want them to know, I

Okay, so you all have probably noticed I’m back on an lolcats kick when it comes to posting pics with my blog posts.
This one is way too cute not to share, but I’ll be damned if I think of something to post along with it. So just enjoy…

Help…

Okay. Back in high school, I read a book.
It was romance.
It involved Merlin.
It was set in modern times. Kind of a time travel. Merlin was a magician in the current times.
There was a crystal cave involved. I think at some point the heroine goes back in time and does something to help free him.
At the end of the book, Merlin and the heroine are married…Merlin has lost his magic, he’s just your average, everyday guy.
They have a little boy named Arthur. The one c

Another open door…anybody have questions they’d like me to answer?

And even if you don’t, I’ve got one for you. What is the one thing that will make you drop a book/throw a book in the middle of reading? I’ve got a couple. One is a little gross…it involves things like unusual sex acts and poor hygiene before/in between/after. Makes the nurse in me go *shudder*. Another is using food in sex-again, probably the nurse in me. What about you all?

Pretty packages
So at my signing on Saturday, I was talking with this guy. He’s not exactly a romance reader, although I think he was intrigued with CHAINS. Had a very cool accent, too.
We got to talking about books. He’d read the back of HUNTER’S EDGE-loved the warning. The warnings from Samhain tend to amuse a lot of people. This one reads:
Warning: Some violence. Some sex. Some bloody violence. Even a little bit of bloody sex. Not all of the sex is between the hero and the heroine, even though every time t

You know when you feel like absolutely everything is falling apart around you? I think we’ve all been there. I’m not there right now. And I don’t plan on going there. There have been some things going on and if I was in the right mindset, I could let them bring me down.
But I’ve decided, it ain’t gonna happen. Not like that, not again.
So I’m looking at the rough times as a test. If I get through it, there’s a blessing on the other side.
I’ve always been pr
