I’ll keep my soul, thanks

Gee, for those writers out there willing to sell their souls…Marvel has a deal for you.

Basically, they want to own everything you’ve ever written (I assume the non-contracted stuff) and everything you may yet write (for a time period).  But they don’t just want the first look option…they also get the last refusal option.  To my understanding that means even if you get a better deal elsewhere, they can still own you.

“Also Marvel has included in the contracts that Marvel gets a first look and last

Today I’ll chat about writing and where I find the characters and plots I have in my books. I write murder mysteries and my heroes and heroines are all Baby Boomers who really aren’t looking for love in their lives. The love and the murder sort of drops in on them unannounced. I got started writing these kinds of books because I didn’t real

Aztec’s been blogging with Karen Scott over at Karen Knows Best for a while now.  I very much appreciate her responding to my plea for guest bloggers while I’m away at Disney with the rottens.

Clever ways to get the word out

So Chains comes out soon. In just a little over a month.  I hate trying to think up clever ways to get the word out about a book online.  I do have one idea in mind that’s a little different that I’m doing this time, and nope, not sharing…not yet.  But I’m also looking for more ways.

What are things online that catch your eye?  Not necessarily ‘advertising’ like ads on sites like the Smart Bitches blog, although dang…that’s some promo, there.  But other things?  Guest blogs?  Scavenger hunts?  W

Hey guys… the family and I head out today for Macon, GA.  We’re staying there tonight then we’ll head on to Savannah for the day, and head onto Florida on Sunday.  I’m going to try and pop in and post some pics when I can, but it may not happen.  However, I’ve got some guest bloggers dropping in for the next week or so.

Going…going…gone…

Leaving…on a jet plane…this post is sticky, view below for updates!

Well, a van, really.  For the next ten days, give or take, I’m only going to be around sporadically.  We’re heading to Disney via Savannah.  I’ll check in when I can and I might post some pics.  :)

But I’ve some guest bloggers that will be dropping in.  :)   See ya soon!

Hiya, Shiloh and readers. Big thanks for having me.

I’ve recently been going through a bit of a personal crisis. Those nearest and dearest to me have been kept in the know about my life circumstances. With life trials, I’ve discovered just how truly valuable a good friendship is. Okay, well, considering I’ve managed to hang on to my very best friend from high school…I’ve always known how precious a special frie

I actually get a little thrill when I’m confronted with perfectly seasoned vegetables, a piece of meat so tender it melts off the bone or a slice of moist cake just the right degree of sweetness.

I don’t have to look far to find where my love of the culinary delights stems from. I
