Inspiration comes from many avenues, but yesterday, I spent a space of time reading this blog (well, both blogs, actually) and marveling at their etsy shop as well.

Okay, after a lot of thought and considering, I think I am going to do attempt The Year of Completion next year. It's past time to cross some things off my to-do list that have been there for years and years. (Either cross them off or put them to bed permanently. If they pop up again in the future, that's fine, but it's time to deal with them.)

So I took a look at my New Year's Resolutions for this year this morning, and oh my was I ambitious. And I've pretty much not completed at every single one. (I'm not going to link to them; you can search them out if you wish.) This year, I'm going to be a bit more ambiguous in my Resolutions for the New Year, because there are still some things I hope will happen that I have no control over--at all.

I've been... weaving this week. Weaving and writing, really, and haven't had much time on the computer at all. But that's not a bad thing, truthfully, because that gave me more time to do stuff around the house as well as weave and write and spin.

So I might only be online sporadically throughout the week, but we'll see how things work out. I say that, and then find that I need to be online sometimes, if only for email. (And some of that...

So my intention was to warp the Big Green loom today, but...

So my intention was to warp the Big Green loom today, but then I walked upstairs and realized I could finish my blue shawl with about an hour's worth of weaving, so that's what I did. I'm really happy with how it turned out!

(I'm still working on the Thankful Scarf, however... that is going a bit slower. But slow and steady is better than nothing at all!)

I was off work Thursday and Friday, and then Saturday and...

I was off work Thursday and Friday, and then Saturday and Sunday, of course, as well. All weekend long, I've had to remind myself what day it was. It's a bit annoying, really, that I couldn't seem to remember! Friday felt like Saturday; yesterday felt like Sunday, and now today, I'm sitting here, reminding myself that it's really and truly Sunday, and that I have to go back to work tomorrow. :(

Oh well.

I have a lot to do today, including laundry and baking bread for next week, but I'm thankful...
