I have exciting book news for you!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it).
I went to Virginia and got to spend some time with my brother and his family. It was great!
For those of you who read on serial apps, I am now on Radish! The SEAL of Protection: Legacy series is on there! A serial app is where you read chapter by chapter on the app. If you're on there, you can find me HERE.

Freebies for your holiday weekend 🦃

And I wanted to remind you about my book, Justice forMackenzie. It's also free and is one of my favorite books I've written. If you're an audio person, I urge you to check out the audio for this one too (which is cheaper if you download the free book from Amazon then go to Audible to pick up the audio). There's a scene at the end where Erin Mallon did an excellent job in narrating! It's so realistic. I know many of you have already read this one...and I thank you so much!

WHEW! November! I won't say that I can't believe it's already November, because I feel like I say that every month. Oh, wait, I guess I just DID say that, huh? hee hee
Anyway...In 2 weeks the final installment of the Silverstone series comes out! Trusting Cassidy goes live on Nov. 16th in audio, ebook, and in paperback. I love the Silverstone guys because they're as blue collar as they come (tow truck drivers!), and yet they're still badass mercenaries. Not to mention they're protective, alpha, Heroes to their women as well!
Next week I'll share the first chapter for those of you who want to read it. But in the meantime, I've shared a little excerpt and teaser below just for my newsletter readers!
The weather is finally cooling off here in Tennessee, and the leaves are finally changing. I also have the doors open a lot (and poor Mr. Stoker is freezing to death. ha!) I hope you are enjoying the weather where you are (cooler, warmer, nice and sunny if you live in a tropical location! lol)

Listen to Finding Kenna now! 🎧
It feels like I JUST had a book release...oh, wait...that's because I DID! HA! :)
Hopefully you all got to read Shielding Ember that came out last month. (Side note...I can never remember when to use the word "that" and when to use "which." My editor tried to educate me and I told her not to bother and just to change it when I use the wrong one. But she doesn't edit my newsletters so I'm just out here probably slaughtering the English language...but I'm hoping you all know what I mean anyway. Side, side note...please don't email me to try to educate me on the that/which thing. It won't sink in. lol And that goes double for lay/lie/laid and father/further rules too)
ANYWAY...I hope you enjoyed Shielding Ember and I KNOW you are all ready for Shielding Sierra (because you've told me over and over! HA!) Sierra is on the cusp of being rescued...but she'll have to hold out a little longer because we've got other stories to get through first.

Read Chapter One of Finding Kenna
Happy Halloween Month! :) I'm not a huge fan of the holiday, although I certainly don't hate it. I think it stems from the ringing of the doorbell and having dogs who always go CRAZY at the sound. HA! If you love it, and want to decorate year round, do it! If you want to drink pumpkin spice stuff until you float away, do it! If you want to put your Christmas tree up in July, do it! If you want pineapple on your pizza or sugar in your chili, do it! Life's too short to suppress what you love simply because others don't think you "should" do or like something.
So, October is here and I have a new book coming out this month! I know, I know, I seem to always have a book coming out, but I hope you're excited about this one!
Finding Kenna comes out on the 19th, but the audio will be live on the 12th. I'll also be sending the paperback orders from my online store out on the 12th as well!
One of the things I love doing when I'm on Oahu is going to Duke's. It's a restaurant right on the beach in the heart of Waikiki and their frozen drinks are so good. As is the food, the hula pie for desert, and the atmosphere in general. The last time I was there, my waitress was so awesome. Bubbly and happy and I thought to myself....what if you make one of your heroines a waitress here? Boom. Kenna was born.
I've put the first chapter on my website so you can see how she goes from her embarrassing meet cute (remember? She jumped on him when he was floating in the ocean because she thought he was drowning) to their first date.
Go easy on yourself. You're doing the best you can in this crazy thing we call life! :)

Reminder: Sneak Peek of Finding Kenna 📚
Greetings!
It's hard to believe we're as far into 2021 as we are. I remember when we couldn't wait until 2020 was over...and now here we are, chasing down the end of 2021!
I've ventured outside my house recently. I went to visit my best friend up in Pennsylvania and then went down to Florida to an author conference last week. It's hard to put into words how great it is to see your friends after so much time alone. But now I'm back to putting my butt in my chair and writing my next story! :)
Finding Kenna comes out SOON! I just loved revisiting Hawaii in this SEAL series and in this book Kenna is a server at Duke's...an iconic restaurant on Waikiki Beach in Oahu. I incorporated a lot of the things I've done and seen, including eating their legendary Hulu Pie! I hope if you ever get a chance to visit, you'll visualize Kenna, Monica, and all the other women hanging out at the bar at Duke's and laughing their heads off while they enjoy each other's company!
I'm including a small excerpt below to hopefully start (or continue! lol) ramping up your excitement to read this one!
Also, this week I'm a featured author over at Binge Books. This is a website where you can read samples of books, listen to samples of audiobooks, see all the books in an author's series, and a whole lot more. It's kind of like Bookbub and Goodreads wrapped up into one. Check it out HERE.
Also, the response to the new stuff in my online store has been AWESOME! I hope you love the new shirts and cups (and of course BOOKS) as much as I do. I try to only put stuff that I would like to have in my store. lol
Please know I appreciate each and every one of you. This authoring thing is downright HARD some days, but seeing nice notes and messages from my readers make all the critical comments and emails not so painful. Remember to be kind, and don't sweat the small stuff. Read on!
