Read Chapter One of Finding Kenna

Happy Halloween Month! :) I'm not a huge fan of the holiday, although I certainly don't hate it. I think it stems from the ringing of the doorbell and having dogs who always go CRAZY at the sound. HA! If you love it, and want to decorate year round, do it! If you want to drink pumpkin spice stuff until you float away, do it! If you want to put your Christmas tree up in July, do it! If you want pineapple on your pizza or sugar in your chili, do it! Life's too short to suppress what you love simply because others don't think you "should" do or like something.

So, October is here and I have a new book coming out this month! I know, I know, I seem to always have a book coming out, but I hope you're excited about this one!

Finding Kenna comes out on the 19th, but the audio will be live on the 12th. I'll also be sending the paperback orders from my online store out on the 12th as well!

One of the things I love doing when I'm on Oahu is going to Duke's. It's a restaurant right on the beach in the heart of Waikiki and their frozen drinks are so good. As is the food, the hula pie for desert, and the atmosphere in general. The last time I was there, my waitress was so awesome. Bubbly and happy and I thought to myself....what if you make one of your heroines a waitress here? Boom. Kenna was born.

I've put the first chapter on my website so you can see how she goes from her embarrassing meet cute (remember? She jumped on him when he was floating in the ocean because she thought he was drowning) to their first date.

Go easy on yourself. You're doing the best you can in this crazy thing we call life! :)
