Hi! In case you haven't heard it today (or recently), you're an amazing person! You work hard, you keep going when things get tough, and I'm so glad you're here! :)
I hope you all had a chance to read Finding Elodie, as it came out last week. I had a lot of fun writing it and I hope you learn to love the Hawaii SEALs as much as I do. And in case you're wondering...yes! Baker will get a story! lol I've had a LOT of questions about that. And even though he only appears briefly toward the end of the book, I just KNEW you'd all be intrigued by him. :)
Coming up next is Shielding Devyn. There are only three more books in the Delta Team Two series and this time it's Grover's sister's turn to have her story told. She's running/hiding from something, and Lucky needs to find out what it is before it's too late. But there's still some time for me to talk about (i.e. tease) you about their story.
This week I've got another FREE book for you, in case you're looking for something to read. It's Sexy, by JA Huss. See below for the synopsis and the link!
And in case you're new to reading my books or didn't realize it, I wanted to make sure you knew that Securing Caite, by ME, is also free. The SEAL of Protection: Legacy series is complete, so you can dive in and binge read to your heart's content and not have to wait for any of the books to come out! (Also see below for the deets).
And because this came up last week with the release of Finding Elodie...if you ever get a book and there seem to be pages missing, or sentences, or words, this is probably because the digital file got messed up in the delivery. Not because the author uploaded a bad file to be delivered. Most of the time all you have to do to fix this is to turn off your device. Turn it ALL the way off. Power it down. Then turn it back on. That's it! Your file should be good to go. If it's not...try archiving it (NOT returning it), and then re-downloading it. Most of the time one of those two things should fix the file.

Finding Elodie is FINALLY live! I know you guys have been very patient and I hope you LOVE Mustang and his team as much as you've loved my other characters.
You first met Mustang and the rest of the SEALs in Securing Kalee. They were the guys who went on the hike with Kalee and Phantom. In this book they start out in the Middle East saving a cargo ship from pirates. And lo and behold...Elodie is on that ship as the cook.

You guys have been so great with my teasing you with Finding Elodie. I'm just so excited for you all to get to know the new team. You met them in Securing Kalee, and they're FINALLY getting their chance. If you missed the first chapter I shared last week, it's still up on my website, HERE.

Read the First Chapter of Finding Elodie Now!
OMG! It's April! It's my birthday month! But more importantly, Findng Elodie is almost here! I've been teasing you guys about this book FOREVER and it's almost here!
I'm super excited because it's being released in German, Italian, and French at the same time as the English version! And even better, the audio version will be out NEXT week (whereas the ebook will come out on the 13th).
To celebrate all the goodness, I've put the first chapter up on my website (in ALL languages!!) I know, I know, some of you don't like to read the first chapter early, and that's okay. But for those of you who want a sneak peek at what Elodie is doing on that cargo ship (that does NOT get stuck in the Suez canal. HA!), you can check it out.
I've also got a FREE book from one of my author buds this week. You can get Donna Grant's book, The Defender, HERE. This is a great way to try out a new author and see what you think.
I hope you're all being safe out there. I've read about a lot of hard stuff happening to people in their posts on social media. While you're being kind to others, remember to also be kind to yourself. You're allowed to not be perfect, to screw up, to be tired, and all the other things. Cut yourself some slack!

A little piece of Elodie for your ears...
Hello! It's time for another newsletter! I'm very thankful that you are all subscribed. With the craziness that is social media, this is honestly the best way to stay in touch with what's going on with me and my releases!
Anyway, this week I've got an exclusive Finding Elodie teaser to show to you all as a thank you for being on my newsletter list!
Also, a sneak peek to the AUDIO to Finding Elodie. You get a sample of BOTH the male and female voices...I just love how this one turned out!
As I've shared, I watched the movie Under Siege to prepare to write Elodie and Mustang's story, and one of the things I've never understood with that movie is how in the world Steven Seagal made that microwave bomb. How in the world did the bad guys not hear the microwave humming? And how did he know exactly how long to set the timer for? I know, I know, it's fiction, but I had Elodie ask this exact same question in the book (because you KNOW I had to make some reference to the movie since it was sort of an inspiration for the story! ha!)
I think most of you know I have an online store and I sell swag and things related to my books. One of the things I love about my store is the T-shirts I sell. They're all stocked in my house (yes, I have a whole closet stacked with shirts! lol), they're all good quality, and my graphic guy knocked it out of the park with the designs (Check out the Special Forces design below...it's made to look like a back tattoo. I love it!). Anyway, if T-shirts are your thing, check them out! Once the shirts I've got in stock are gone, they'll be gone (and I'll probably come up with new designs! lol)

What would YOU name your car?
We're inching closer to Finding Elodie arriving!
To write this book I watched the movies Captain Phillips (with Tom Hanks) and Under Siege as research. These are both movies about a ship being overtaken by modern-day pirates. The Captain Phillips movie was based on a true story of a cargo ship being overtaken, and of course, everyone knows Under Siege is the cheesy, not very realistic movie of a US Navy ship being taken over by a bad guy with revenge on his mind and Steven Seagal (former Navy SEAL in the movie) almost single-handedly saving the day.
The book moves from the waters of the Middle East to the beautiful paradise of Hawaii, where the Hero is stationed with his SEAL team. I've always loved Hawaii and have been there many times. I've incorporated some of my favorite spots on the island of Oahu, and maybe if you ever make it there, you'll see some of them and smile, remembering my stories! (ABC stores, Duke's, Helena's, eating malasadas, and so many more!)
I've included a short excerpt below to maybe whet your appetite for the book. It'll be out before we know it. And just a reminder that you can get the paperback and audio a week before the ebook if you're interested. (The audio wherever my audios are sold and the paperback through my online store, link at the end of the email!)

I have so much stuff for you!
It's almost spring! That is so hard to believe! January took 2 years for us to get through, and we blinked and Feb was done! lol This week I've got a hodgepodge of stuff for you since we're between my releases.
First up, the Holding On To You anthology released this week! All proceeds from this anthology go toward the Ronald McDonald House. There are 11 books in this one, which comes out to only 36 cents each! It's quite a bargain! The book of mine in this one is Shielding Gillian, which you hopefully already have, but there are also 10 other books, so it's a great way to try out other authors.
Also, this week I've got TWO free books for you. The first is Sanctum by Lexi Blake. If you read Rescuing Sadie, you got a glimpse of Lexi's world as Sadie was related to one of her most beloved characters. Now's your chance to get a FREE book from Lexi!
Also, Burn For You by J. H. Croix is also free. Again, free books are a great way to try out new-to-you authors!

I've been asked how I decided to use prosopagnosia as an affliction that my heroine has. I think I might've seen a show where one of the characters has face blindness and I thought to myself, what would happen if I paired her up with my Hero who never forgets a face? And a story was born!

Read the first chapter of Trusting Taylor!❤️
Are you guys getting excited? Less than a week before Trusting Taylor comes out! I love this story and Taylor and Eagle are such an interesting couple (as one doesn't recognize anyone and the other recognizes everyone!)
I've put the first chapter on my website so you can read it. I LOVE the grocery store scene. Eagle definitely starts out on the right foot with Taylor! (And seriously, I can't imagine how hard having prosopagnosia would be. Think about it for a moment...if you couldn't recognize any faces...including those of your family, spouse, children...life would be very different than what you know now!
Anyway, enjoy the first chapter! It's almost release day!

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day...whether you have a significant other or not! I spent the day holed up inside with Mr. Stoker and the doggies. :) (and writing...of course!)
This week I've got some anthologies to share with you, a free book, AND a first look into Trusting Taylor (which will be out in only a few weeks!)
First up...a FREE anthology. I've joined nine other authors to give you TEN free stories in the Love and Danger box set! My book is Rescuing Emily, which I hope most of you have read, but you can get a bunch of other stories as well...so be sure to pick this one up as it'll only be available this month!
Secondly, I've got a brand new short story in the Love is in the Air Anthology. It's not related to any of my series, but it does include some hot Delta Force operatives! Even better, I teamed up with Riley Edwards (or did she team up with me?) and our stories interconnect! Better yet, ALL proceeds go to the American Heart Association, so it's for a great cause. There are 30 short stories in this one, perfect for those times when you don't have time to get sucked into a full-length book!
Also, I have a FREE book for you from Kristen Painter called The Trouble With Witches, you can get it HERE! If you haven't tried her stuff, now's your chance!
Lastly...Trusting Taylor is the second book in my Silverstone series and comes out on March 2nd! Which is totally right around the corner! This book was interesting to write as the heroine has prosopagnosia (pro-so-pag-no-z-ah). This is a condition where someone can't recognize faces. And of course, I've hooked her up with Eagle, who never forgets anyone he's ever met or seen a picture of! lol I've included a short excerpt below to hopefully spark your interest!
I hope no matter where you are that you're surviving the cold, or heat. Here where I am in TN, we didn't get ANYTHING. No snow, no super cold weather. We were right on the line of that monster storm. Stay home where it's warm (or nice and cold in the Air con) and read a book!
