Let's get it started...
I can't believe it's almost time for Securing Kalee to come out! I know most of you have been waiting impatiently for this one ever since Securing Piper released. As a side note...I hadn't actually planned on Kalee being Piper's Peace Corps friend. I had actually written the entire scene before a light bulb went off in my head and I thought...what if...The rest is history!:)
I've put part of Chapter One on my website for those of you who like to read excerpts. It's not the entire chapter though, because that would be a bit too much of a spoiler! For those who don't read the excerpts, I'm including a small teaser graphic below to whet your appetite.
Next week the Audio comes out for those of you who listen to audiobooks. We're getting SO close!

Securing Kalee Peek Inside...

But with September comes my next book...and I know you've all been waiting for Securing Kalee!
In two weeks you'll get the AUDIO version, and then on the 22nd you'll FINALLY get to see Phantom find Kalee and get her the heck out of Timor-Leste. But of course that's only the beginning of their story together. You also get to meet the SEAL Team Hawaii in this book (the first book, Finding Elodie is up for preorder). I know you're gonna love these guys as much as I do!
It was hard to find a snippet that wasn't a huge spoiler, but since you all know eventually Kalee is gonna be rescued, I thought it was okay to share this one.

Finally!
You all have been patiently waiting for another book from me to go live (ok, some of you have been waiting patiently, others have been chomping at the bit! lol) and Shielding Kinley is finally live!
As I've said before, the drama that occurs near the end of this book actually happened to a friend of a friend. I've changed some of the details to fit my story, but the bones are the same. My dedication is so true.
You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have.
Humans are amazingly resilient, and I try to showcase that in my stories. And we're all stronger than we think we are. So when life gets hard...hang on. You've got this, because you're an amazing person!

Listen to Shielding Kinley Now!
It's Shielding Kinley AUDIO week! For my audio peeps, you can now listen to Sheilding Kinley! I love the narrator of this series! Virginia Rose has done an amazing job.
Because not everyone is an audio fan, I decided to share another snippet to get everyone ready for the ebook releasing next week. I like to write about not just the relationship between the heroine and Hero, but also with the other women as well. I think friendships are so important and personally, I wish I had more girlfriends like my heroines do! So this week, I'm sharing a scene between Gillian (from book 1) and Kinley.
As the US election looms nearer and we're all going crazy with staying home, I just want to remind everyone to be kind. You don't have to believe in the same thing as someone else to be kind. You never know what someone else is going through just by reading words on a computer screen or seeing them walk by.

Know what's really fun?
Mid August! A little over four months until Christmas! (how crazy is THAT?!?!?!)
But the passage of time means that we're that much closer to Sheilding Kinley being released! This week I'm sharing the entire first chapter over on my website, to get you even more excited!
Next week I'll be mailing the autographed paperbacks ordered from my store, and I've got some new cool swag I'll be throwing in as a bonus (jar openers, lip balm, or cord wrappers!)
Not only that, but the audio version comes out next week as well! So if audio is your thing (and I know it's not everyone's!) you'll get to hear their story even sooner!
One of the fun things about Shielding Kinley is that you get to meet the team of Delta Team Three. And then on Sept 15th you'll can read Woof, Zip, Merlin, Jangles, and Duff's stories! You guys are always so eager to get secondary characters' stories, well I'm giving them to you! (Well, my five good friends are at least.)
I appreciate all of you so much. I know there are a ton of authors/books out there and I'm so very grateful and happy that you choose to read mine!
Stay healthy out there and please, be kind. The world is a tough place as it is, without having to deal with people being jerks for no good reason.

Will it take years?
It's AUGUST! So hard to believe! But since I am not a hot-weather person, I'm looking forward to autumn and the cooler weather in my neck of the woods.
Shielding Kinley will be here before we all know it! I put the autographed paperbacks up in my store, in case that's your thing (And I do mail them a week before the ebook comes out). I've still got my new Fight Like a Girl shirts, Special Forces shirts, and Silverstone Towing shirts (to celebrate my new series coming out in December). I'm also ordering new custom stress balls, and hope to have those before too long.
So, Shielding Kinley comes out on the 25th, and I just adore Lefty and Kinley together. The missions real Delta operatives go on are highly secretive, but they have been known to act as bodyguards for political figures during summits and other special events. That's where I got the idea for this book. Lefty and his team head to Paris for bodyguard duty and he runs into a woman he's met on assignment before...Kinley.
This is kind of a second-chance romance, as Kinley just wasn't sure she was worldly enough or good enough for the handsome soldier. Of course things go sideways in their second chance and Lefty has to work his butt off to show Kinley that she's the woman for him. :)
Today I have a cute teaser graphic for you to try to tide you over. The 25th will be here before you know it!

Is it just me or...
I feel like July is going so slowly, is it just me? I mean, it's weird, because, on one hand, it's hard to believe it's already July, but on the other hand it feels like this month is dragging. Could be because I've been in my house since March. HA!
Anyway, we're getting closer to when Shielding Kinley releases. This is the second book in the new Delta Team Two series. In this book you're introduced to Delta Team Three (this series is written by 5 good author friends of mine and their books release on Sept 15th, all at the same time so you can binge read!), and you see more of Trigger and Gillian and the entire team.
Kinley and Lefty's story starts off on shaky ground when Kinley thinks she's not good enough for Lefty and doesn't think he's serious about wanting to get to know her. So when they meet face-to-face a second time, Lefty makes sure Kinley knows he's not messing around when it comes to a relationship with her. I've included a small excerpt below to give you an idea of how series Lefty is about getting to know Kinley. :)

I know, it seems like it's been FOREVER since I've released a book, and FOREVER until my next book. lol
But Sheilding Kinley is coming! Promise!
The audio is now up for preorder for Kinley and Lefty's story, and like most of my other books, you can download the audio a week before the ebook drops. I do this because 1) most audios don't get made for months after the ebook comes out, if at all, and I want to be different, and 2) because I want to be extra-good to my blind readers (and those who can listen to audios while working). I know some people think it's "unfair" and not nice of me, but I can't make everyone happy ALL the time. HA!
If you aren't an audio person, you can also get the paperback before the ebook comes if you order it from my online store! I mail them out starting on the Tuesday before the ebook drops, so if you don't like audio, you can splurge on a signed paperback! (and there's lots of other stuff in my store too! T-shirts and swag!)
And...for the record...I'm an ebook kind of girl myself, so I always have to wait for the ebook to come out too. So I feel your pain!

I remember when I was amazed that it was already April. Now we're halfway through with the year and it's five months until Christmas! HA!

Next up is Sheilding Kinley! Aug 25th will be here before we know it! This is the second book in the Delta Team Two series and features Kinley and Lefty. Kinley is a witness to something horrible and turns to Lefty, and his team, for help.
The interesting thing about this book is that the drama near the end of the book is based on a TRUE story. What happens to Kinley happened to a friend of a friend. Luckily, he lived to tell his tale and to testify so the bad guys were put behind bars. So, when you read it, remember that life sometimes is way more harsh than fiction.
BUT...you know I always have happily ever afters, so you know all will be well! I've included a short excerpt below to whet your whistle for Kinley and Lefty!

Are you ready for Raven and Rex? 😘

The last book in my Mountain Mercenaries series is finally LIVE !
Rex finally gets his book and finds his missing wife after ten years!
When I started this series, I didn't have a good idea about Rex and Raven's story or how it was going to play out. But I actually really like how this one went. Both Raven and Rex have been through hell in the last decade and of course, their reunion can't be without its issues.
Thank you to everyone who's hung in there with me over the years and has loved this series. Hopefully, you'll catch the reference to the NEW team of four men (Silverstone) that will be starting in December (Trusting Skyler ). :)
