Mind Over Matter – Does Thinking Make It So – A Two Parter
Part One
Who am I and you, really? Bottom line, what’s my purpose, what am I meant to accomplish? Is my purpose different than yours? Can we help each other; how? In my better moments and perhaps yours as well, in the calm quiet of ego-less space, in moments of clarity, serenity and grace, without the ego’s raucous shrieks, I think I know. We’re here to have and help each other have more such ego-less moments of grace. Such moments are a counterpart to every guilty, nasty, blaming ego thought, a correction and replacement for them.
I’ve noticed and perhaps you have, too, that letting my natural talents flow brings clarity, serenity and grace and fewer guilty, nasty, blaming ego thoughts. Could that be our purpose, what we’re meant to do, simply get our bloated nothingness out of the way, so our natural talents flow and contribute to a world that works for everything and everyone in it? Are these moments the truth of our being? Could the rest be self-imposed nonsense?

Introspection, Humor and Digital Success
A woman walks into a bar…. And…. And…. I’ve been sitting here for the last 30 minutes trying to write something you’ll enjoy and find useful; something memorable both humorous and meaningful; something original, quirky and thought provoking, because for the last couple of days, I’ve been feeling my posts have been too preachy and like who am I to preach? Right? I want to share the insights I get, not ‘preach’. And there’s a ‘commercial’ aspect, too, I also want the search engines to find the posts, so irrespective of the content, the titles (meta tags) need to be grabbers. Can you tell I’m a bit conflicted at the moment? But I’ll get over it. Do you think the title of this post works? Thanks for listening! A woman walks into a bar….

Hostages, Fear and Terrorism
Why do struggle, problems and worry seem to be the norm and moments of ease, grace and joy seem to be rare exceptions? Could our choices have anything to do with that? Would you be hostage to the ego or host to the power we call ‘God’? No brainer, right? Except for the fear; the fear that God’s not really there; that even if It really is there, we’re not a part of It; we’re such terrible sinners, that God doesn’t love us and we’re totally unlovable because of all our wicked, nasty thoughts and deeds. That’s the ego talking. There’s only, either the ego or Spirit. If we’re feeling fear and guilt, we’re with the ego. Spirit holds no fear and guilt, so as part of Spirit, neither do we. Stop thinking with the ego and ask Spirit’s help to shift to It.

Today – Innovation & Creativity, Now
There will never be another day like today. Think about it. This day on the calendar, this hour on that day, this moment on your watch is totally unique, one of a kind, and will never come again. Yet this day, hour and moment is like every other, brimming with opportunity and the chance to experience our oneness with the power we call God. Sooner or later (hopefully sooner) we will experience It and know that not only are we one with It, but are using It right now. Acknowledge this for just an instant, catch a vision then go from there to make your own unique contribution to a world that works for everyone and everything.

Religion, Atheism and The Infinite
Each of us has our way of approaching the Infinite. Atheists deny it, agnostics aren’t sure, formal religion says: ‘My way or the highway!’ But the Infinite is the Infinite and is unperturbed by our feeble attempts to limit and control it. Each of us is bound up in things we know, but aren’t so. The goal of Spirit Tech is to let these things go and as Emerson recommends, ‘get our bloated nothingness out of the way of the divine circuits,’ free us from our feeble attempts to control and limit the Infinite, and to reveal its presence already within us so we can work more appropriately with it, instead of trying to control and limit it.
