Atheists Welcome
Tell me about the God you don’t believe in. Chances are, I don’t believe in that God either. I call it ‘God’ because it’s the biggest word I know. I ‘pray’ from gratitude and an experience of oness, not to a distant deity. Doesn’t this work for believers, too? Doubt, Insurance and Fear
I did a book presentation last Thursday. The night before, I was tossing and turning wondering if anyone was going to show up. I couldn’t know how many people would show up, nor if they’d buy books.
There’s so much I don’t know and can’t know! Cosmic things like what will happen to the planet and mundane things like will my niece’s relationship work out. Even with the help of all my talented brothers and sisters doing rocket science physics, biology, and the rest, I will still know only know a fraction of what could be known.
Must I know? Can I live and be well, not knowing? Of course. But what do I do when I’m desperate to know, need to know, when I’m tossing and turning at 2AM? What can I know at times like those? Que sera sera. I need to know that getting my fear and bloated nothingness out of the way of my intuition, being willing to cooperate with, and make the best of, whatever comes will be more than adequate. BTW: Nine people showed up and I sold three books.

Fredrick Douglass, Winston Churchill and Courage
Many think courage is about guts and asserting one’s self. That’s only half of it. It’s also about compassion, empathy and kindness. Churchill said: “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” The courage of our convictions – to act to secure the highest and best for all concerned, not just ourselves. Fredrick Douglass said: “I prayed for freedom for 20 years, but received no answer until I prayed with my legs.”

Plane Crashes in Europe 140 Die
Hi! It’s me, Devorah, the only woman to be a Judge over ancient Israel and the main character in Dr. Steve’s book Devorah The Covenant and The Scrolls Book One. I’m back by popular demand to share some common sense spiritual techniques. I’m not really going to blog about the recent plane crash. I used that title hoping the search engines would pick up this post and also to attract new readers.
There is a pattern of perfection at the center of your being that’s never been touched by fear, sadness, disease or misfortune. Imagination knows this thru intuition. It’s the intellect and the subconscious that need renewing. Let your imagination and intuition take your intellect there and experience not only greater peace and creativity more often, but gradually, a whole new perspective.

The Military Option or Catch the Vision
Hi! It’s me, Devorah, the only woman to be a Judge over ancient Israel and the main character in Dr. Steve’s book Devorah The Covenant and The Scrolls Book One. I’m back by popular demand to share some common sense spiritual techniques. Though I inspired my reluctant general, Barak, to fight, fought at his side and won a great victory against superior odds, I’m not really going to blog about ‘The Military Option’ except indirectly. I used that title hoping the search engines would pick up this post and also to attract new readers.
Catch the vision! No matter what confusion appears on the surface of your life, there is always a place of calm at the center of your being. Know this; feel this. The wick of your individual life runs deep into the oil of pure being. Pause. Cease your busy-ness, be still, watch and judge not.
