Prosperity
“The more I know prosperity isn’t about money, the more money flows into my life.”
If not about $, what then? Energy. Source. It’s about knowing our Source. Are we identifying with the flow of infinite energy and supply or lack and limitation?
Energy is; it’s already in through and around us, constantly flowing; constantly taking new forms. We don’t have to create it. We only mold it. What template are we using to mold it? What mental equivalent are we using?
As we move energy out, a space is created for more energy to flow in. Flow and circulation are inevitable. What mental equivalent are you using now?

Mindful Monday
Blinking
“I went toe to toe with him and never blinked.” That’s one way to think of blinking.
Another way is, it’s just a reflex, just something we do to keep our eyes healthy.
Metaphysically blinking can mean shifting life positions between light and dark, faith and doubt, compassion and fear.
We blink thousands of times a day. Maybe we don’t shift life positions that often. But maybe we shift more often than we think we do.
Maybe blinking is a way to keep our lives healthy.
Mindfulness helps me to know what position I’ve taken. Perhaps blinking is a reflex that keeps me in the middle – not doubting all the time, but not so full of faith as I’d like to be.
Perhaps blinking is a reflex the lets me make sense of being human.

Light & Dark
I don’t fight or curse the darkness. I switch on a light and the darkness departs without a fight or grumbling.
The light of my life is within me in my heart and mind. The switch is accessible. Belief, practice and awareness make the switch more accessible.
Too often, darkness seems to be the norm. Knowing I have access to the light switch allows me to put a light on. Actually, I don’t have to throw the switch; I just have to get my bloated nothingness out of the way. Light is the default.
In the situation of Trump and his Republican sycophants this is also true. The way to work with their darkness is to go within, allow my bloated nothingness to drift away and go forth from that place of light….

Completion
Starting a project is the beginning of an energy loop. The loop stays open and the energy remains until the project is complete. Each incomplete project drains energy. Completion brings the energy back and closes the loop.
This isn’t to suggest you get paranoid and rush around completing things. Each life has its own rhythm and flow. It’s to suggest you set an intention to finish what you start and build time into your life for that.
With each completion, I make the energy available for new endeavors and life itself.

He and his Trumpian advisors are using the symbol of our nation to confuse observers and cover their crimes.
Soon the Attorney General of the United States of America will use his power to let Jeffery Epstein off and if he doesn’t the President of the United States of America will probably pardon him. Birds of a feather flock together.
Sometimes it’s just too hard to swallow, but what can we do. The inmates are running the asylum.

This or Something Better
Ever had something ‘bad’ turn into something ‘good’?
Two things about this: First labels like ‘good’ and ‘bad’ have limited, time-bound usefulness. Second, we often experience things better than and beyond what we could even imagine.
So, when wishing, hoping and praying, adding “this or something better” not only acknowledges our human limitations, but allows the power that causes the sun to shine to come up with something better beyond the capacity of our paltry imaginations.

Empires Rise and Fall
Two fundamental principles seem to underlie the evolution of human societies. First, the seemingly contradictory ideas of unity of the whole and variety, the manifold expressions within that unity. Second, liberty – establishing the greatest possible chance for everyone to be capable of choosing wisely and permitting them to go ahead and enjoy what they’ve chosen – compassionate, welcoming and inclusive instead of fearful, blaming and punishing.
Empires rise and fall to the extent they cooperate with these fundamental principles. Up till now, the American Empire has prospered because it’s cooperated with these principles. But now, attitudes and systems – religious, political, economic – contradicting these principles, not only make the empire’s present success unsustainable, but threaten its long term survival.
