The Language Beneath the Words

Be still and know. There’s a language that waits beneath words; more supportive, inclusive and blessing than words could ever be. Be still and listen. Actually, I don’t listen, I don’t hear it, I feel it. It’s a sense of calm, peace and grace that’s there all the time for all of us. It seems to be the exception, a rare moment in life, but it’s not. Whenever I get my bloated nothingness out of the way, its there. I feel it right now, so can you. Take a deep breath. Shut your eyes. Ah! There, did you feel it?

Abundance

The scarcity principle – the belief there’s not enough, governs the world. I am not enough. You are not enough. But the Self the power called ‘God’ created needs nothing – nothing. While the self I think I am is forever inadequate; always trying to enhance itself with external approval, love and possessions.

My Self is forever complete, safe, loved and loving, seeking to share rather than get, knowing it lives in an abundant universe willing to support it; knowing it’s always guided, guarded and protected; knowing it has what it takes. As Goethe said, “whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”

Each of us has a spiritual electricity that charges anyone who touches it. The energy of being real has more power than outright persuasion, debate, force or will. Without intent or design, being who we are always creates a similar vibration in those we come in contact with. When we’re real, when we get our bloated nothingness out of the way, the spiritual light, warmth and energy that emanates from our souls, causes others to grow. Mindful Monday

Paradigm Shift

The posts last Monday and Wednesday offer a paradigm shift – a shift in the way you see yourself, everyone else and the planet. A shift, not a radical revolution; a gradual adjustment in your perspective and experience, enabling you to take advantage of ALL the energy on the energy continuum. You can be free of cultural, religious and professional constraints and biases that require you to be one or the other – spiritual or scientific. You can be BOTH spiritual AND scientific.

Most of use both everyday. But by becoming mindful – consciously aware – of where we are on the continuum, we can take advantage of its flatness and move freely back and forth along it: spirit – mental – emotional – material, using the energy most appropriate to our needs. Every aspect has its place, even and for some things, especially, emotional.

No big deal, no permission, no license nor degree required just be where you are and if that’s not working for you, others or the planet, shift, move to some other place on the continuum. Let go of POVs, beliefs and habits that are causing harm and shift. You can do it! You’re free to do it. It’s your mind.
