The Mirror

What if the Universe, you and I and Life itself, were an energy field that worked like a mirror. Hold something small like a paper clip before the mirror and it’s reflected back. Hold up something larger like your own self and it’s reflected back. The mirror doesn’t complain that you are so much larger than the paper clip, so much heavier.

What if there was a mirror large enough to reflect back a mountain or an aircraft carrier? It would not be difficult. It would not be easy. It would simply reflect what was placed before it.

Energy exists everywhere, now. We neither create it, nor hold it in place. Like a mirror it merely reflects. Our thoughts – “good” and “bad”, hopes, wishes and dreams form a mold for it to fill and reflect, a mental/emotional equivalent.

Now, knowing this, what are we to do…?

Understanding that Life is an energy field and a mirror and learning how to work with these ideas is what Spirit Tech is all about.

If Only

If only I could undo…. Or do what needs to be done….

There’s a deep paradox at my core.

I experience deep enlightenment, when I’m suddenly more than I am. Next second, trip and hurt myself.

I used to think of these as failures, that I wasn’t trying hard enough. If only….

But I’ve come to understand, tho sometimes I still think of them as failures, that they are the earthiness of my human condition. Not to be corrected, eliminated or transcended but merely accepted.

We need to soothe ourselves, not blame ourselves.

Running

I spend so much time and energy running, either from or to. Almost afraid to stop. Fearing I’d lose what I already have. Perhaps you do this too. Stopping, centering, accepting, appreciating and being grateful work better.

Inner Learning

There is no predictable pace for inner learning – for getting our bloated nothingness out of the way of the divine circuits. Readiness and receptivity are key, usually when our egos are most subdued. We fall down as many times as we need to. Suffer our pains as often as necessary. Break and heal frequently. Encounter the same lesson over and over again. What we need to learn comes when we need it. There are no diplomas nor graduation ceremonies, especially not from Kindergarten. What we need to learn comes when we need it, from living every day.

Spirit Tech

Perhaps you’ve notice the term “Spirit Tech” at the bottom of my posts.

As spiritual beings having earthly experiences, we’re not confined to earthly technology, we can also use spiritual technology – practices, methods and techniques, that take advantage of our reality as spiritual beings.

These work amazingly well in our earthly experience – amazing from our earthly perspective. 

Meditation, intuition and all the other forms of Spirit Tech are like unused muscles. They need to be used regularly to be effective.
