Commitment & Risk
The moment one definitely commits oneself, the the universe moves too. All sorts of things occur to help that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events flows from the decision which no one could have dreamed would have come to pass.
Haven’t you experienced this? This is the metaphysical guarantee. Spirit Tech can help.

The Ego Paradox – You Can’t Get There From Here
The Course in Miracles says experience here is an illusion created by the ego.
But, when I’m in pain, suffering or dissatisfied, the ego seems unable to deal with its creation and help.
Only letting ego go, giving whatever it is over, pausing, breathing into it, releasing all thought, wanting to see not just that particular thing differently, but all things differently – without the ego, being grateful for my reality as Spirit and freedom from all that binds me to the past, and knowing there is only one power – Spirit, not two powers – ego and spirit, and knowing I’m never upset for the reason I think, enables the shift to grace and spaciousness.
Fear and faith are not so different. Fear accepts that which we don’t want to experience; faith accepts what we do want to experience. They’re two sides of one coin, two ways of using one power. It’s not denying the reality of external experience, but rather affirming the reality of the inner experience that creates the external. Spirit Tech helps do that.

Forest for the Trees
We have a tendency to fragment, then be concerned with the little part of the whole, missing the whole. Think of Psychology, Economics, Politics, History, etc. And we wonder where Humanity went. I think Dickens has Scrooge say, “Humanity should have been my study….” Indeed.
Humanity is a mystery. We keep coming up with reasons and explanations, but really, think about it, what do we know? Mass murderers and Trump supporters remain fundamentally unexplained even to themselves.
To obtain the peace of understanding, which is what all our study is for, we have to give up reasoning and fragmentation and accept that we can’t know that way and try another way.
By going within, centering and letting go of how we think things are and should be, we can be guided and know what to think, feel and do. Not necessarily what everyone should do, but our part – what we are to think, feel and do. Think about it.
What else can be done? We keep trying the traditional, rational, fragmented way and we have what we have. A good definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Spirit Tech can help overcome this form of insanity.

Genius
The original meaning of the word was attendant spirit; being in the care of something near yet unseen. Everyone of us has such a spirit.
William Butler Yeats said, “Genius is a crisis that joins the buried self, for certain moments, to our daily mind.” An unexpected sudden shift in our beingness that brings us into direct conscious contact with our attendant spirit.
Perhaps the purpose crisis is not to break us, but to break us open.

Allow
What do I allow in
my mind, my life, my community,
my environment, nation, world?
Is allowing an active or
passive activity?
Both.
Does it occur
in a second;
or overtime?
Both.
Is it a conscious or
unconscious activity?
Both.
Allowing is awesome!
Consciously intend.
Decide what to allow.
Make adjustments
as needed.
Mindfulness helps.

Being Human
Animals teach us to be human. They remind us that living and dying are the things we must do – the simple poetry of living.
I am because my dog knows me.
Jaques Derrida wrote about being ashamed to be naked in front of his cat – I feel shame “if the cat observes me frontally naked face-to-face…. Ashamed of what and before whom? Ashamed of being as naked as a beast. It is generally thought…that the property unique to animals, what in the last instance distinguished them from humans, is their being naked without knowing it. Not being naked therefore, not having knowledge of their nudity, in short, without consciousness of good and evil. Naked without knowing it, animals would not be, in truth, naked.”
From a lecture by Dorothea Lasky published in the American Poetry Review, Vol 48/No.6
