Book Review: Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card

Title: Ender’s Game

Author:Orson Scott Card

Length:324 pages

Genre:Science Fiction //Young Adult

My Rating:5/5 Stars

As soon as I completed the first chapter, I knew it would be one of my favorites as well....

PROJECT FAIRY TALE

Hi, everyone! I came across this lovely blogging event via The Cheap Reader. We are planning to host the actual event on our blogs sometime in early 2013 (either February or March). The premise? Choose a fairy tale (that hasn’t already been chosen) and read it, along with at least 3 retellings of the story, and post reviews on your blog! There are many other things you can do to jazz up the event, but this is the bare minimum. All stories you read must be young adult or child appropriate. :-) Cl...

Ahhh…looks picturesque and beautiful, right? Well, itwasa beautiful arbor that the Philosopher and I saw when we visited north Georgia’s winery…but looks can be deceiving. Moving on! Here we are at another Wednesday! Hard to believe the weeks fly by so fast! I am really looking forward to a restful, fun, and snuggly evening with my hubby tonight. We’ve...

Reading and Writing: Two Sides of the Same Coin

Reading and Writing…to be an author, you need exceptional skills with both of these two activities. Many writers are so busy, they don’t take time to read. This, my friends, is a huge mistake. What is it about reading that helps a writer so much? You’d be surprised. Growing up, I...
