DEMOLITION MAN, Maybelline and NEW CAR SHOW SAFARI Episode!

To wrap up the week, Fireball launches an all-new Masterprint with Stallone’s DEMOLITION MAN! A crazy funky Police Cruiser from the year 2032 where people lived in the utopianistic SAN ANGELES. And all is good until Wesley Snipes shows up!

DID YOU KNOW?? The GM ULTRALITE was a 1992 low emmissions concept vehicle intended to demonstrate the benefits of advanced materials and low fuel consumption. It was rated at 88 miles per US gallon by the EPA, but could achieve 100 miles per US gallon at a steady state cruising speed of 50 mph. Due to the unusual design, the Ultralite had been featured in several science fiction productions, most prominently among them was in the 1993 film Demolition Man as the squad cars used by the fictional SAPD (San Angeles Police Department).

Also in today’s blast, Gene Winfield’s MAYBELLINE CADDY, dumbfounded Superhero THE OWL and an all-new CAR SHOW SAFARI Episode! This time, the boys get SICK ON SODA!

PLUS, Fireball creates THE BULLITT Concept for the Arizona Superbowl. Will they build it??

ALIENS, Buick YJob, Kustoms, Kops and GAMERA’s NEW JOB!!

Here in the Garage, it’s Fireball’s job to envision everything from MOVIE CARS to KUSTOMS. And one of his favorites is ALIENS!

Although the Alien Franchise doesn’t have lot of CARS, that can only mean that ships are going to be SKETCHED too! And some are already HERE! But today, it’s a new APC TANK from ALIENS, being attacked with ACID SLOBBER! You know, the kind like what your dog does, only a bit worse.

DID YOU KNOW?? A heavily modified Hunslet ATT77 Air Towing Tractor is what became the APC TANK for the film. Not exactly a vehicle you come across on a regular basis, but immediately recognizable. Back in the mid 1980s, they were working on the Sci-Fi follow up to the movie Alien and were in need of a futuristic armored personnel carrier. Thus, the Colonial marine Alien Buster. “We’re gonna die, man!!”

Also in today’s blast, Fireball busts a CLASSIC BUICK YJOB and asks the question, “What did Gamera do when he retired?? Well, I’m glad you asked ’cause he started a BASE JUMPING SCHOOL! Check it out!!

TOMORROW!! Episode 2 of CAR SHOW SAFARI launches and it’s BONKERS!! Stay tuned to Fireball’s Facebook Page for the morning post! Shows coming this weekend, plus the boys get spit on! (Well, at lease one of them…)

BEST OF SHOW?? A crazy cool ORANGE COBRA that’s super much gorgeosity! WATCH!

PENELOPE PITSTOP, Buick Riv, Flintstones & FLAME IS THE GAME

If you’re a fan of CARS, TV and MOVIES, then you’re in the right place… since Fireball’s launching a new PENELOPE PITSTOP MASTERPRINT! You guys called for more art and that’s exactly what you’re gonna get in THE GARAGE!

Wacky Races was an animated TV series airing from 1968 to 1970 on CBS. The series (most likely inspired by the 1965 slapstick comedy THE GREAT RACE), consisted of eleven drivers racing across North America in order to win the title of “World’s Wackiest Racer.” And PENELOPE PITSTOP was an instant hit!

“She always has time to relax and worry about her looks, because her car is like a beauty parlor. Penelope Pitstop also has a habit of holding her arm out in the breeze to dry newly applied nail polish, which the others mistake for a turn signal (this habit once sent the Roaring Plenty into a cactus!).”

Also in today’s blast, Fireball sketches a ’63 BUICK RIV in anticipation for this weekend’s VENTURA NATIONALS, talks about the builds of the FLINTSTONES Builds back in the day and launched the all-new FLAME IS THE GAME Fireball Tee! Having passion for cars is more than a Hobby… it’s a WAY OF LIFE and it leads to all things good. That’s the Game, ppl…

BEST OF SHOW is 2000HP CHEVY MALIBU!!! Watch and DROOL!

New CLOCKWORK, Buick Wagon, ELVIRA and Vintage MACH 5 FOUND!

All-new A CLOCKWORK ORANGE MASTERPRINT launches this day of car coolness as we approach an amazing weekend! The VENTURA NATIONALS and Re-Launch Premiere of WHEELS AND WAVES! If Stanley Kubrick were alive today, he’d say… “Yes, quite extraordinary my fiendish friends!” Then he’d go back to filming something really creepy…

Also in today’s BLAST, Fireball blisters out a super cool BUICK SPORT WAGON Sketch, spots ELVIRA’S THUNDERBIRD in Hollywierd and stumbles across Speed Racer’s ORIGINAL VINTAGE MACH 5!! Wow!! Turns out it’s been in Speeder’s Junction, Texas this whole time. Whooda thunk?

DID YOU KNOW?? Speed Racer’s Mach 5 was primarily based on three automobiles… the race cars Ferrari 250 Testarossa and Ford GT40 and OO7’s weapon-equipped Aston Martin. Mach Five was designed by Mitsuki Nakamura, who was the art director of Tatsunoko Productions, which produced the 1967 TV anime series.

And today’s BEST OF SHOW spits outta the Petersen with this 1992 JAGUAR XJ220!! Beauty… AND the Beast!

“Just wanted to send a personal THANK YOU to those that have purchased from the Fireball Tim Garage in the past! I’m doing my best to create cool cars and appreciate the support. Hope you enjoy your item and I look forward to seeing you at a show!” F.

New BJ AND THE BEAR, BTTF Vette & Borgwards in the Wild!!

The culprit responsible for starting the CB Craze in the 70’s and 80’s was a show that only lasted 2 years… and it was BJ AND THE BEAR. BJ and the Bear was an Action Comedy series that aired on NBC from February 1979 to May 1981. Created by Glen Larson, the series starred Greg Evigan and was produced when the CB Radio and Trucking craze had peaked in the United States.

Following the series were films like MOVIN’ ON, WHITE LINE FEVER, SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT and EVERY WHICH WAY BY LOOSE. The show really set a trend and now the Kenworth K100 is IN THE GARAGE with an all-new Fireball MASTERPRINT!

Also featured is Fireball’s Back the Future Vette which is a stable here in the Garage it seems. Turning EVERYTHING into Time Machines! Plus a Wacky Sketch called BIG SKY RACER! Should Fireball do a Wacky Book?

Today’s BEST OF SHOW were several BORGWARDS spotted in the Wild!!

The BORGWARD ISABELLA was manufactured from 1954 to 1962 and was to have been marketed as the Borgward Hansa 1500, but the Isabella name was used on test vehicles and proved popular with engineering staff and media. The production car was subsequently renamed and only the first few hundred examples were built without Isabella badging. Hansa badging was also used through to 1957.

Going to CAR SHOWS is about STORIES, and the story of this new CHAVIK HOT ROD (Now a MASTERPRINT!) is worth investigating… It’s a 1933 BUICK SHAFER Tribute Racer from the Indy 500, built by Fireball friends Stanley and Daisy Chavik of HOT ROD CHAVIK in the city of Orange… so check ’em out for your next BUILD and tell ’em Fireball sent ya!

New KOJAK, Bosozoku and the STEAM NUTTER hit the Garage…

Today’s Blast launches with an all-new KOJAK MASTERPRINT featuring Telly Savales’ BUICK CENTURY NYC Police Cruiser from the show! And if you didn’t think the series was all that popular…

DID YOU KNOW?? Kojak was Queen Elizabeth’s favorite TV show by the time the late British monarch met Savalas at a 1976 state dinner thrown by then-U.S. President Gerald Ford. “Certainly, the royal family are keen television watchers,” a British Embassy spokesperson told The Washington Post in 1983. But in 1978, CBS canceled Kojak amid faltering ratings. The actor however reprised the role in two TV movies for CBS — 1985’s “The Belarus File” and 1987’s “The Price of Justice” — and five more for ABC. And Kojak was even bumped up to inspector status!

Also in today’s blast is some BOSOZOKU love with Fireball’s Jakarta Sketch, BEST OF SHOW shots from last weekend’s CAMARILLO CRUISE-IN and another Wacky Sketch from the Master… THE STEAM NUTTER! (Check out all of ’em so far on Pinterest!) How else do you think they get those Nuts off??

BEST OF SHOW?? A super gorgeous 1925 ROLLS ROYCE gets discovered by the Mayor of Malibu, Paul Grisanti.

Fireball is in full swing now with CAR SHOW SAFARI, ART TALK LIVE and WHEELS & WAVES only 1 week away!!
