Welcome to the week, folks! Let’s rock some socks as we start with VINTAGE COOL and a new 1959 DESOTO FIREFLITE MASTERPRINT! An amazing Classic Car if you’ve ever seen one in person, but whatever you have in your Garage, Vintage Cool is Badass. Check out some of THESE babies!

DID YOU KNOW?? The 1959 DeSoto Fireflite made up 27.39% of DeSoto’s sales in 1956. Power seats were $70, while power brakes cost $40. Whoa! The Fireflite’s appearance for ’57 was redesigned with the help of Chrysler Corporation’s head stylist, Virgil Exner. The design was bold and radical with large tail fins, dual oval exhaust and triple-lens taillights.

Also in today’s Fireball Blast, a Vintage snap of STEVE MCQUEEN and Jacqueline Bisset on location is San Fran filming BULLITT in 1968, CAT WOMAN pondering destruction on the BAT POD from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, Fireball’s new DAMNATION ALLEY MASTERPRINT and Fireball himself admiring… pointy things.

Fireball busts out new DEATH RACE, Demolition, BATS & RATS!

Icons of AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE are vast, but originals never fail! And today, Fireball expands on DEATH RACE 2000 with this new MASTERPRINT depicting Frankenstein’s car in explosive bloody coolness! Were you a fan of Corman Movies? What was YOUR favorite??

DID YOU KNOW?? Death Race 2000 was a dystopian science-fiction action film about a cross-country race in the year 2000 where contestants kill people for points. The movie was directed by Paul Bartel and produced by Roger Corman. It starred David Carradine as “Frankenstein” and Sylvester Stallone as “Machine Gun Joe Viterbo.” Frankenstein’s car in the 1975 film was called THE MONSTER and was a custom-built, alligator-themed 1968 Volkswagen Beetle with a modified Corvette body, but powered by a flat-six Corvair engine with a reptile-scaled paint, spiked spine, and snake eyes for headlights! Sssss!!

Also in today’s blast, Fireball snaps with Head of Mattel Hot Wheels BRYAN BENEDICT at a show, Keaton and his ’89 BAT ON SET at the WB for BATMAN, Fireball’s DEMOLITION MAN MASTERPRINT now available and cruisin’ tiny Malibu homes in a whopping Cadillac CTS-V!

PLUS, today’s EPISODE is a super cool 1942 RAT ROD from Cruisin’ for a Cure! WATCH!

It was a neo-classic luxury vehicle which was produced by Panther Westwinds, a British speciality car maker from 1974 to 1985!

CAT MONSTER G86, Monster Garage, Vettes, Patina & Bats!

Is there anything better than KUSTOM CARS?? Here at the FTG, we think it’s akin to Chocolate… which is why Fireball busts out sketches like this all-new BAKE NEKO! In Japanese… that’s CAT MONSTER!! This new MASTERPRINT features a Custom TOYOTA JDM G86 with Fireball’s Feline Fury (Furry?) in an overall blanket of glistening Jade. Perfect for you AutoOffice, Diecast Garage or REAL Garage! It’s in the FIREBALL EBAY STORE, too!!

DID YOU KNOW?? The funky weird Japanese WAVING CAT have become associated with good luck and fortune. It is common to see Maneki Neko statues in both Western and Japanese businesses and homes as a token of wealth and prosperity. But in Japan, where there are special words for endless self-improvement (Kaizen) and “Death by Overwork” (karoshi), CATS, with their relaxed attitude and abundant napping, could well be the lifestyle models the nation needs, especially in times of distress or economic downturn.

Also in today’s Fireball Blast, a Vintage Snap of the Ball with buddy’s GENE WINFIELD & DARYL STARBIRD on the set of MONSTER GARAGE as they built The Flying Car! Plus, ACTION HEROES and Fireball admiring Robotness in Hollywood!

PLUS, a new CORVETTE SUMMER MASTERPRINT is coming this afternoon!

Today’s BEST OF SHOW is this sickass PATINA’D CHEVY SHOOTING BRAKE TRUCK! A tiny Suburban?? You decide!

But the original title of the series was “Alley Cats,” but Kate Jackson suggested “Charlie’s Angels” after seeing a picture of angels in Aaron Spelling’s office. Another title in consideration was “Harry’s Angels.”

The unconventional detective, played brilliantly by Peter Falk, first appeared on our screens in 1968.
