WEINERMOBILE, Vintage EV & BatMissile cruise into the Garage

Sure, there’s lots of people out there drawing cool cars… but who the heck does a MASTERPRINT of the WEINERMOBILE?? Well, you guessed it… only Fireball!

“If you’re looking for serious cars and badass drawings, there’s a lot of guys out there doing that. And it’s awesome… But I’m kinda like the Glen Larsen of Cars. I love things that are funny, whimsical and with a sense of humor. TV & Movie Cars are exactly that and I’ve been designing them for 40 years… just to put smiles on faces. My hope is that you can find something in my Garage that will make you smile.”

Also in today’s blast, Fireball whipsnaps a 1909 BAKER ELECTRIC, plays with kids at a Barnes & Noble Event and busts out the BATMISSILE for the Garage! Check it out along with tons of other Batmobiles!

Today’s BEST OF SHOW Episode?? A super UNIQUE 1967 SUNBEAM STILLETO! WATCH! Hope you guys are havin’ an awesome weekend!!

LOTUS SUB MASTERPRINT, Audi, Driving Ecto & a ’55 Batmobile!

Today, to match Fireball’s Aston DB5, we launch the James Bond 007 LOTUS SUBMARINE MASTERPRINT!! This one is Hot! (Or maybe we should say “cool” seeing as how… well, you get what we’re sayin…’) But check out the NEW SHIRTS and MORE too!!

DID YOU KNOW?? It was built by Perry Oceanographic, Inc. of Riviera Beach, Florida…specifically for the film, using a Lotus Esprit S1 body (shell only) for about $100,000 at the time. The wedge shape of the Esprit is designed to provide downforce, which would cause the submarine to dive. And it did! The sub dis not maintain a dry interior, and was a WET SUB that requires occupants to don scuba gear. The undesirable force was compensated for by fins placed where the wheels would be in a conventional Esprit and required a crew of two to operate. It has four electric motors that allowed forward motion only. The interior had no resemblance to that of a car, being just a platform for the scuba divers, and the equipment used to operate, drive, and power the sub. Ahhh… Movie making.

Plus, Fireball SKETCHES and ’82 AUDI for a Client, scoots the ECTO 1 through the Valley Neib and reminds us that although there were never any films with BATMAN in the 50’s… there shoulda been, and this is BATGIRL 55! CHECK OUT HER STORY HERE and then head into the Garage!

Today’s BEST OF SHOW will keep you lookin’ dapper with a CHROME BMW! No distraction there, folks… WATCH!

The MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. spies on Cool Cars in the Garage…

Were some of you fans of THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E? Well, we were! And since buddy Gene Winfield built the original TV car called THE PIRANHA, we were hooked. (Although it was missing from the Movie, dangit!)

DID YOU KNOW?? The Piranha was an all-custom Corvair-Powered runabout and originally called the “Marbon Centaur-CRV,” built of ABS. Pretty much lost to history until Gene got a hold of it for Model Kit Company AMT to sell to the tune of $5K each, and then built one for the show. They were a limited run and then all but disappeared… but now, Fireball does and updated version IN THE GARAGE for those fans that still love Spy-Thrillers! The PIRANHA IS BACK! Check it out!

Also in today’s cool car blast is a BUGATTI VINTAGE TRAILER Combo Sketch! Sure, it makes no sense, but your eyeballs would pop outta your noggen if you saw this in the woods! Ding!

Magnus Walker SCREAMS “Cool Coloring Book” as he handles his Solarpunk Porsche-Inspired Coloring Book now available at Barnes & Noble! What COLORING BOOK should Fireball do next??

Today’s BEST OF SHOW scoots in with this tiny Honda Japanese Pickup! But why is there a Tron ENCOM Sticker on it? It’s a Mystery…

Fireball designs 2nd epic SEMA CAR as BRONCO AMERICANA…

Off the heels of the DARK DRAGON MUSTANG being built by Texas-based builder Carlos Molina of PROJEKT CARS comes Fireball’s 2nd design, THE BRONCO AMERICANA for Vanguard Offroad. Horse SKETCH by Master Illustrator Heather Edwards of DOG & DRAGON, a variation of this truck will be in Vanguard’s booth (if all goes well) at SEMA for the show in Vegas starting in November.

The Bronco will feature a host of parts from Vanguard (Fireball and Heather may be there to SKETCH & SIGN, but as you know, things are up in the air until the fat cow sings,) but Fireball’s designing 4 cars at the moment with a potential of a few more. All built by PROJEKT CARS. More to come… but check out the store now for this HOT BRONCO AMERICANA!

Also in today’s blast… WHEELS AND WAVES is only 2 weeks away and word on the street is that it’s going to be EPIC! Keep in mind, this is a Cars & Coffee from 8-10am, but the sheer amount of CUSTOM CARS on the way is wild, many coming from THE VENTURA NATIONALS and as far south as San Diego!. Will you be there at The Channel Islands Maritime Museum??

At the Santa Barbara AUTO EXPO, Fireball gets a shot with superfan, pal and Wellness Expert JENNIFER MCDOUGALL and the infamous Dr. Pepper! What’s more Americana than a Car Show on the grass in the California Sun!

Today’s BEST OF SHOW is this Classic BADASS BLACK LINCOLN! Yes… coming to Wheels and Waves, baby… WATCH!

BEVERLY HILLBILLIES hits, Bricklin & Vette-Powered Malibu!

Been a long time coming for this one, but there’s been a ton of requests for the car from the super 60’s hit BEVERLY HILLBILLES! And today, Fireball launches a new MASTERPRINT, Mugs and Tees! Snag a canvas, find out where Fireball will be next and GET A SIG!

DID YOU KNOW?? “The Beverly Hillbillies” premiered on CBS in the fall of ’62, chronicling the misadventures of the Clampetts, a family from the Ozark mountains of Missouri who become suddenly wealthy when they struck oil on their property and move to Southern California. The series starred Buddy Ebsen as Jed Clampett, Donna Douglas as his daughter Elly May, and Irene Ryan as “Granny” Daisy Mae. The truck the Clampetts drove was a 1921 Oldsmobile 43-A roadster affectionately known as the “Swamp Rat.” The car’s rear had been hacked off and replaced with a truck bed by Hollywood builder George Barris. Throughout the show’s nine seasons, there were a total of five customized Oldsmobile trucks built!

Also today is a cool SKETCH of a very unique car… THE BRICKLIN. Albeit on a farm and FOR SALE! This car was a favorite of Dan Woods from the TV Show CHOP, CUT, REBUILD!

In Hollywood, Fireball spots the original Lamp from I DREAM OF JEANIE! But where is he?? LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW! PLUS, a NEW ATEAM MASTERPRINT! Check it out here in the Garage!

Today’s BEST OF SHOW?? A Corvette-Powered MALIBU SS spotted at County Line Cars and Coffee in Socal! WATCH AND DROOL!

Fireball releases JAMES BOND 007 MASTERPRINT License to Kill

One of my first SKETCHES in the Garage has finally been done as a MASTERPRINT… and it came out awesome. The James Bond 007 ASTON MARTIN DB5  joins the collection of other Bond Cars entering the Garage over time, but what should be next?

DID YOU KNOW?? In the books, author Ian Fleming had specified an earlier Aston Martin DB Mark III as Bond’s car… but the DB5 was introduced in the 1964 Bond film GOLDFINGER, equipped with gadgets including machine guns, smoke screens, oil slicks, an ejector seat, and rotating license plates. And that move was historical as it cemented Cars as Characters in film.

Also in today’s blast is a natural evolution to modern films with a ZOMBIE TRUCK SKETCH! Who wants to color this one? Should I do a bloody ZOMBIE COLORING BOOK? Might be cool…

SEMA is coming… and as you know, there are a lot of reasons to go. Fireball shows us a couple of them, but MODIFIED CARS, KUSTOMS and UNIQUE IDEAS are why we go. And… FOOD. Who’s comin? Fireball’s SKETCH SIGNING SCHEDULE is coming soon!

Today’s BEST OF SHOW… Fireball rides a SINGLE WHEEL RYNO BIKE! WATCH!!
