On Sunday, Delaware Republican Party Chair Julianne Murray spoke with The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft about the Hunter Biden case and court date this week in Delaware.
Julianne announced that on Monday, she will file an Amicus Brief with the Delaware Court.
Julianne told The Gateway Pundit, “What is triggering this Amicus Brief is what has happened since the plea came out, since the details were released on the plea… What has happened is David Weiss has made statements that now contradict earlier statements. ‘I was independent, now I wasn’t so independent.’ The Attorney General himself has made statements that now don’t make sense or are misleading when you take in the IRS whistleblowers that testified.
The case is still developing and Julianne was going to be certain that the judge and the court knew about it.
Julianne then told TGP about her Monday filing, “We’re going to actually file a brief tomorrow… What is triggering this amicus brief is what has happened since the plea came out.”
After Julianne filed her brief, the House Oversight Committee filed also filed a brief with the court that included the new allegations of criminal activity by Joe and Hunter Biden that were revealed in testimony and newly released documents last week.
In response to the Amicus briefs, Hunter Biden’s attorney called the court, pretended to work for the Oversight Republicans, and attempted to remove the Amicus briefs from the case. Fortunately, the attorney, Jessica Bengels, got caught. This shows the lawlessness and unethical behavior of Hunter Biden’s attorneys.
On Wednesday, Julianne Murray attended today’s Hunter Biden hearing. She later spoke with The Gateway Pundit.
Julianne Murray: It felt great to feel like, okay, made a difference in this… Going into the proceeding today, I went up to the Clerk of the Court. I had spoken with the other Council for Heritage and we had decided that if they made any move to seal the proceedings today, any of the documents, anything like that, that we were going to intervene and make an application right there that it’s improper because there’s a Third Circuit case that basically says pleas are open to the public.
Judicial documents that are open to the public. So I’m sitting in the back with my notepad figuring, okay, I may be walking up to the podium well, the room’s full of Marshall Secret Service and said, here’s the deal. And I said, who do I need to talk to about this? Because if they say the word that this is going under seal, I am standing up and I am walking up to that podium.
She tells me to go talk to the Clerk of the Court. I talk to her and I explain it. And I said, I know you guys don’t like surprises. I want you to know this is coming. And she said, I’m telling the judge. So the judge knew, and I firmly believe that the way that this proceeding went down in terms of everything that was read into the record and all the stuff that happened was a result of that.
Julianne Murray told TGP she intends to participate in the case as it proceeds.
Today was a good day for law and order.

Hunter Biden’s lawyers are facing possible sanctions after being accused of lying to the clerk in Hunter’s tax fraud case.
Someone from Hunter’s legal team called the Delaware clerk and lied about their identity to remove testimony from the IRS whistleblowers from the court docket.
An attorney for Hunter Biden – Jessica Bengels with Latham Watkins – lied about who she worked for (alleging she was with Amicus) to get documents taken off the docket.

Judge Maryellen Noreika gave Hunter Biden’s lawyers until 9 pm ET Tuesday night to explain themselves.
Hunter will plead guilty to misdemeanor tax charges on Wednesday and is expected to avoid jail time on a separate gun charge.
Hunter Biden will likely be sentenced at a later date.

The judge presiding over the Hunter Biden case threatened Biden’s legal team with sanctions over allegations about lying in his criminal case.
Hunter Biden’s legal team is accused of misrepresenting themselves to get information about IRS whistleblowers removed from the docket. Delaware Judge Maryellen Noreika gave Biden’s legal time until 9 p.m. on Tuesday to explain their side.
A lawyer from Hunter’s legal team is accused of misrepresenting who she was when asking to remove amicus materials. They allegedly called to ask the clerk to have the information sealed.
“The Court has discussed the matter with the relevant individuals in the Clerk’s Office and has been informed that the caller, Ms. Jessica Bengels, represented that she worked with Mr. Kittila and requested the amicus materials be taken down because they contained sensitive grand jury, taxpayer and social security information,” the order read.
“It appears that the caller misrepresented her identity and who she worked for in an attempt to improperly convince the clerk’s office to remove the amicus materials from the docket,” the judge added.
“The Court will temporarily place the document under seal until close of business on July 26, 2023 to afford Defendant the opportunity to try to make the requisite showing,” the order read.

Google introduces new Play Store for foldables and tablets
Google has announced a Play Store redesign specifically aimed at larger devices such as foldables and tablets.
At last year’s Google I/O, the company announced that big changes were coming to its app store for large screen devices. Now, in a fresh blog post, Google has announced four major updates that will help users of such devices to find the apps that make the most of that extra screen space.
First up is a revamped app listing system, which prioritises apps with high quality videos attached to them. Said footage will be embedded as a banner at the top of the listing. There’s also a new multi-column layout that will squeeze more information onto devices with larger screens.
Secondly, Google has tweaked its app ranking algorithm to favour those apps that have been optimised for large-screen devices. They’ll now be more likely to appear in your app searches than those apps that are only honed for smartphones. Google is really putting the squeeze on developers who don’t submit to their large screen app quality guidelines, with warnings and reduced visibility.
Google has also streamlined the UI for its Google Play Store on larger devices, with navigation buttons now positioned to the left hand side (closer to a thumb) and an all-round simplified layout.
Finally, Google has implemented a split-screen search system, which displays search results and app details pages side by side. This should prevent too much back-and-forth activity when browsing through apps.
Expect these foldable and tablet-friendly tweaks to start rolling out over the coming weeks.

As reported earlier — Bronny James, the son of NBA Star Lebron James, suffered medical emergency at basketball practice on Monday morning and was rushed to the hospital.
Bronny, who recently committed to play college basketball at USC, was rushed to the ICU after suffering cardiac arrest during a basketball workout at USC.
A spokesperson for the James family stated, “Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.”
The spokesperson continued “We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update the media when there is more information.”
TMZ reported a 911 call was originally made on Monday morning from USC’s Galen Center which is the place where the team plays. When first responders arrived on the scene they found Bronny unconscious.

LeBron is ‘making sure he gets the best care possible’ and has entered ‘full Dad mode and is protecting his son in any way he can,’ a source told DailyMail.com.
Cardiologists have warned that Bronny’s career – which was only just beginning following his high school graduation – could already be over.
Dr Christopher Tanayan told DailyMail.com: ‘If they find something that puts him at a high risk for sudden death then that … may make or break his career.’

Encryption-breaking, password-leaking bug in many AMD CPUs could take months to fix

A recently disclosed bug in many of AMD’s newer consumer, workstation, and server processors can cause the chips to leak data at a rate of up to 30 kilobytes per core per second, writes Tavis Ormandy, a member of Google’s Project Zero security team. Executed properly, the so-called “Zenbleed” vulnerability (CVE-2023-20593) could give attackers access to encryption keys and root and user passwords, along with other sensitive data from any system using a CPU based on AMD’s Zen 2 architecture.
The bug allows attackers to swipe data from a CPU’s registers. Modern processors attempt to speed up operations by guessing what they’ll be asked to do next, called “speculative execution.” But sometimes the CPU guesses wrong; Zen 2 processors don’t properly recover from certain kinds of mispredictions, which is the bug that Zenbleed exploits to do its thing.
The bad news is that the exploit doesn’t require physical hardware access and can be triggered by loading JavaScript on a malicious website (according to networking company Cloudflare). The good news is that, at least for now, there don’t seem to be any cases of this bug being exploited in the wild yet, though this could change quickly now that the vulnerability has been disclosed, and the bug requires precise timing to exploit.
“AMD is not aware of any known exploit of the described vulnerability outside the research environment,” the company told Tom’s Hardware. Cloudflare also says there is “no evidence of the bug being exploited” on its servers.
Since the vulnerability is in the hardware, a firmware update from AMD is the best way to fully fix it; Ormandy says it is also fixable via a software update, but it “may have some performance cost.” The bug affects all processors based on AMD’s Zen 2 architecture, including several Ryzen desktop and laptop processors, EPYC 7002-series chips for servers, and Threadripper 3000- and 3000 Pro WX-series CPUs for workstations.
AdvertisementAMD has already issued a firmware update mitigating the issue for servers running the EPYC 7002 chips—arguably the most important of the patches since a busy server running multiple virtual machines is a more lucrative target for hackers than individual consumer PCs.
AMD says that “any performance impact will vary depending on workload and system configuration” but hasn’t provided additional details.
When will I get a patch?The Zen 2 architecture first came to consumer systems around four years ago in the form of the AMD Ryzen 3000 series; the Ryzen 5 3600 was especially popular among PC builders. But AMD’s habit of mixing-and-matching processor architectures in recent CPU generations means that there are some Zen 2 chips sprinkled across the Ryzen 4000, 5000, and 7000 lineups as well, affecting some new systems as well as older ones.

Two left wing professors, one of law and another of political science, have written an open letter to Joe Biden urging him to ignore Supreme Court rulings that the left doesn’t like.
Imagine the reaction of these same professors if Trump defied the Supreme Court. That would be an assault on democracy, but it’s totally different when they do it, you see.
Is this how our cherished norms get restored? By defying the highest court in the land?

An Open Letter to the Biden Administration on Popular Constitutionalism
Aaron Belkin and I have written the following open letter to the Biden administration urging that it endorse and take steps to implement popular constitutionalism as a response to what the President has described as “not a normal” Supreme Court. We urge readers to let the administration know in their own ways that reinvigorating the long and honored tradition of popular constitutionalism is both viable and urgently needed in today’s circumstances.
We urge President Biden to restrain MAGA justices immediately by announcing that if and when they issue rulings that are based on gravely mistaken interpretations of the Constitution that undermine our most fundamental commitments, the Administration will be guided by its own constitutional interpretations.
We have worked diligently over the past five years to advocate Supreme Court expansion as a necessary strategy for restoring democracy. Although we continue to support expansion, the threat that MAGA justices pose is so extreme that reforms that do not require Congressional approval are needed at this time, and advocates and experts should encourage President Biden to take immediate action to limit the damage.
The central tenet of the solution that we recommend—Popular Constitutionalism—is that courts do not exercise exclusive authority over constitutional meaning. In practice, a President who disagrees with a court’s interpretation of the Constitution should offer and then follow an alternative interpretation. If voters disagree with the President’s interpretation, they can express their views at the ballot box.

When “the Court’s interpretation of the Constitution is egregiously wrong,” the president should refuse to follow it.
Those two statements were made roughly 60 years apart. The first is from segregationist Alabama Gov. George Wallace (D). The second was made by two liberal professors this month.
In one of the most chilling developments in our history, the left has come to embrace the authoritarian language and logic of segregationists in calling for defiance and radical measures against the Supreme Court…
What is most striking about these professors is how they continue to claim they are defenders of democracy, yet seek to use unilateral executive authority to defy the courts and, in cases like the tuition forgiveness and affirmative action, the majority of the public.
This is precisely why AOC and other Democrats have been calling the Supreme Court illegitimate for months.
There are no coincidences.

Attorneys for Hunter Biden have responded to allegations of deceiving a court clerk to remove certain documents from a court docket, claiming it was a simple “misunderstanding.”
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Hunter Biden’s legal team is facing possible sanctions after they lied about their identity to have the testimony of IRS whistleblowers removed from the docket in Hunter’s tax fraud case.
Hunter’s lawyer called the courthouse clerk PRETENDING to work for GOP lawyer Ted Kittila and told the clerk they didn’t really mean to file all the whistleblower stuff.

Judge Maryellen Noreika had demanded an explanation from Biden’s lawyers by 9 pm ET Tuesday night. This controversy arises on the eve of Hunter Biden’s plea of guilty to misdemeanor tax charges on Wednesday, while he is expected to avoid jail time on a separate gun charge.
A member of Biden’s legal team misrepresented herself when asking for amicus materials to be removed. According to reports, she called the clerk and requested that the information be sealed due to its sensitive nature, including grand jury, taxpayer, and social security details.

Further, they stated, “We have no idea how the misunderstanding occurred, but our understanding is there was no misrepresentation.”
The lawyers also stated that their Director of Litigation Services, the person who made the call, had properly identified her affiliation with Latham & Watkins LLP to the ECF Clerk.
“We hope this letter and the attached declaration dispels any suggestion that undersigned counsel or our staff would ever intentionally misrepresent or mislead the Court with respect to any matter.”
