The Pentagon is warning Congress that it is running low on money to replace weapons the U.S. has sent to Ukraine and has already been forced to slow down resupplying some troops, according to a letter sent to congressional leaders.
The letter, obtained by The Associated Press, urges Congress to replenish funding for Ukraine. Congress averted a government shutdown by passing a short-term funding bill over the weekend, but the measure dropped all assistance for Ukraine in the battle against Russia.
Pentagon Comptroller Michael McCord told House and Senate leaders there is $1.6 billion left of the $25.9 billion Congress provided to replenish U.S. military stocks that have been flowing to Ukraine. The weapons include millions of rounds of artillery, rockets and missiles critical to Ukraine’s counteroffensive aimed at taking back territory gained by Russia in the war…
“We have already been forced to slow down the replenishment of our own forces to hedge against an uncertain funding future,” McCord said in the letter. “Failure to replenish our military services on a timely basis could harm our military’s readiness.”

Female Thieves Loot Nike Store in Southern California, Calmly Walk Out of Store (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Welcome to Gavin Newsom’s California, a free-for-all crime spree. In one of the latest crime sprees, 4 females looted a Nike store in Irvine, California this past Thursday. The thieves grabbed $3,000 in merchandise and calmly walked out of the store.
They are said to be part of an organized crime syndicate targeting retail stores in Orange County and San Diego County, which included Nike in San Clemente and Carlsbad for a three-store total of $11,000.
All 4 suspects were captured later and taken into custody.
Video captured four people ransacking a Nike store and stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise in Irvine on Thursday.
The suspects were identified by Irvine police as:
– Kristen Jamie Himbarger, 19, of Los Angeles
– China Celeste Morris, 24, of Highland
– Anaiya Syrai Cole, 19, of San Pedro
– Unidentified female juvenile, 14
Video of the theft shows the suspects entering the store and grabbing armfuls of clothing off store racks and shelves including hoodies, pants, shirts, sports bras, and more.
The thieves quickly gathered the merchandise throughout the store before calmly walking out the door. The amount of stolen merchandise was estimated at around $3,000.
The suspects are believed to be a part of an organized retail crime group responsible for previous Nike store thefts in Irvine, Carlsbad and San Clemente, police said.
Around $11,000 in merchandise was estimated to be taken during those thefts.

President Trump on Sunday spoke to reporters and called for equal justice and the prosecution of radical leftist Congressman Jamaal Bowman of New York after delivering remarks to supporters and caucusgoers in Ottumwa, Iowa.
The President also commented on the current battle in Congress over a budget and potential government shutdown, Republican voter suppression in California, and House Republicans.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump stopped in Leighton, Iowa, after his Team Trump Caucus event in Ottumwa. During his speech in Ottumwa, President Trump promised to “remain the champion of American farmers with four more years in the white house” and “cancel every Biden policy that is brutalizing our farmers.” Watch the President’s full speech here.
After discussing his policies and Biden’s pro-China policies with the farmers, who thanked him for coming out and taking the time to meet with him, the President decided to take questions from the press.
President Trump, when asked about New York Democrat Representative Jamaal Bowman, who pulled the fire alarm in the Cannon Congressional Office Building in Washington DC to shut down Congress, called for his arrest. Today, there are hundreds of Trump supporters who walked inside the open doors of the US Capitol, shook hands with police, and were sentenced to months and years in federal prison. Many of them were charged for interfering with an official proceeding, which is exactly what Bowman did!
This latest scandal from the Democrats shows the levels of hypocrisy and radical extremism that these people are willing to go to. If we had fair and honest press in this country, things would not be this way.
“This is the crap, and then they’ll let him out because he’s a Democrat radical left lunatic,” said President Trump.
Trump also told reporters, “This is the crap, and then they’ll let him out because he’s a Democrat radical left lunatic, and he should be prosecuted the same exact way as the J6 people were prosecuted. And they’ve been treated; many of them have been treated more unfairly than anybody in the history of our country.”
“A lot of people are saying, ‘What are you going to do about J6?’ I don’t think they’re going to be disappointed. I can tell you that,” the President added.

Trump: We have to keep our government going, but I thought the Republicans got very little. I think they got very little. I think they could have done a much better deal, and it was a lifesaver for Biden. It was a lifesaver for the Democrats. I think the Republicans could have gotten more, but they’ll have a second shot at it in a pretty short period of time, but really, to me, I think they could have made a much better deal.
Brian Glenn: Mr. President, you’ve got massive support here in Iowa. You’ve seen it every time you come here, you’ve got massive crowds. But I was really surprised at the massive crowds you have in California. I’m not surprised. But do you think the polls, how does Gavin Newsom repeatedly get elected as governor in a state that he is hugely, hugely unpopular?
Trump: That’s a great question because we went around; you were there, a lot of the media was there. You guys would’ve loved this California trip. The crowds were massive, like you’ve never seen. And then automatically, a Republican is supposed to lose California. I say, if they didn’t send out millions and millions and millions of mail-in ballots, where they’re sent to everybody under the sun, where some people get seven and two and nine—the record I’ve heard so far was 11—and I believe that this Republican, I can’t speak for all Republicans, but I can say this Republican would win California, and you see that. People said they had never seen enthusiasm and support. And in Iowa, you’d expect it, and these great farmers, these are great people, the best people. These are incredible people, and you’d expected an Iowa, but we went to California, the crowds were as big as they could possibly be, and the enthusiasm was unbelievable. If we had an election where you actually had a voter has to show up with voter ID and do a paper ballot, but the voter ID is very important, and the one-day election is very; like the old days where you actually walk in, you had a one day election, you go voter ID, you do a ballot, and that’s the end of it. Now, you can do mail-in for somebody that’s very sick, proven sick, or ill and they want to vote, and that we understand, and you can do it for far away military. But even the military, you could vote, but if you did that, we would win California. It’s a totally rigged state, and Gavin Newsom, I mean, they recall him, they do everything, he’s done a terrible job. Look at the forest fires, all the places burning down, the homelessness, and you look at what’s happened in California, and then the guy gets elected. Now he wants to run, obviously, for President. So, we’ll see what happens with that. But we looked at Joe Biden and the horrible destruction he’s done to farmers and farms. And by the way, Social Security and Medicare, so many different things, what they’re doing to our country is unbelievable. So I think the Republicans could have been tougher, but they’re gonna have a second crack and a third crack at it.

Trump: so I think what Bowman I don’t know Bowman at all, but Jamaal Bowman, a Congressman from New York, did something that was as bad or worse—you look at what’s happening to the J6ers, they’re putting them in jail for years and year,s and this guy pulled an alarm system, and to show you how corrupt they are, he then said when he got caught, he didn’t know he was on tape. I mean, I don’t know how you can be the Capitol and not know that, especially after what happened. And he said, oh he was trying to get into a door, he thought he was opening the door. It was a door two feet away. He thought he was opening a door? It’s a red box that says fire alarm on it. He thought he was opening a door. This is the crap, and then they’ll let him out because he’s a Democrat radical left lunatic, and he should be prosecuted the same exact way as the J6 people were prosecuted. And they’ve been treated; many of them have been treated more unfairly than anybody in the history of our country. Joe Biden sat down for a one-on-one interview with ProPublica’s John Harwood to address ‘threats to democracy,’ the Supreme Court and other issues.
Biden absurdly claimed he convinced Strom Thurmond to vote for the ‘Voting Rights Act’ when he left the Senate.
This is one of Biden’s favorite lies (he has many).
“When I left the Senate, I was able to convince Strom Thurmond to vote for the Voting Rights Act – Strom Thurmond,” Biden told Harwood.
Strom Thurmond died in 2003 and Joe Biden didn’t leave the Senate until 2009.
Furthermore, The Voting Rights Act passed in 1965 before Joe Biden was in office and Strom Thurmond voted against the bill.

Biden repeated the same lie over the summer and a White House spox jumped in to save the day.
A White House spox told Fox News that Joe Biden helped convince Strom Thurmond to vote for the Voting Rights Act in 1980.

President Trump took one final question from the media as he departed a meeting with farmers in Leighton, Iowa, following a speaking event in Ottumwa.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump met with farmers in Leighton, Iowa, after the Team Trump Caucus event in Ottumwa. During his speech in Ottumwa, President Trump promised to “remain the champion of American farmers with four more years in the white house” and “cancel every Biden policy that is brutalizing our farmers.” Watch the President’s full speech here.
While in Leighton, Trump took a few questions from the media and obliterated Rep. Jamaal Bowman, who pulled the fire alarm in the Cannon Congressional Office Building in Washington DC to shut down Congress and obstruct an official proceeding. President Trump said he should be in jail and “prosecuted the same exact way as J6 people,” who were imprisoned by the Biden Regime for peacefully entering the US Capitol when police let them in on January 6, 2021.
As he was leaving in his motorcade en route to the airport, President Trump responded to one last question about radical left prosecutor Letitia James’ civil lawsuit in New York.
The Gateway Pundit reported that President Trump last Tuesday responded to a New York judge’s decision to rescind his business licenses as punishment in the suit. “Derranged New York State Judge” Judge Arthur Engoron ruled on Tuesday that Trump and Trump Org. are liable for fraud. A non-jury trial begins tomorrow, October 2, in New York.

US Attorney General Merrick Garland sat down for a rare, one-on-one interview with “60 Minutes” host Scott Pelley of CBS News.
They discussed the ongoing persecution of Trump in the middle of a presidential election, Hunter Biden and Joe Biden.
Merrick Garland is the most radical, corrupt and dangerous attorney general in US history.
Garland’s DOJ indicted President Trump TWICE on junk charges while shielding Hunter Biden from serious tax, FARA and money laundering charges (Hunter has since been indicted on a gun after major backlash).
He has prosecuted and thrown the book at more than 1,000 J6ers. Many J6ers have been held in inhumane conditions in the DC gulag without a trial date. Peaceful, non-violent J6ers are facing years in prison for the ‘crime’ of wandering around the Capitol building for a few minutes while ignoring Antifa and BLM terrorists.
Proud Boy Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years even though he wasn’t even at the Capitol on January 6!
Garland has locked up elderly pro-life activists for protesting at abortion clinics while ignoring left-wing terrorists bombing pro-life facilities.
Merrick Garland had the gall to claim his DOJ doesn’t have two sets of rules for Republicans and Democrats.
“We do not have one rule for Republicans and another rule for Democrats. We don’t have one rule for foes and another for friends. We don’t have one rule for the powerful and another for the powerless, for the rich or for the poor, based on ethnicity. We have only one rule; and that one rule is that we follow the facts and the law, and we reach the decisions required by the Constitution, and we protect civil liberties,” Merrick Garland said.
“Are you essentially saying as attorney general to the American people, “Trust me”?” Scott Pelley asked Merrick Garland.
“Well, in the end, I suppose it does in the end come down to trust. But it’s not just me. It’s decades of the– of the norms of this department that are part of the DNA of the career prosecutors who are running the investigation and supervising the investigations that you’re talking about,” Garland said.
Scott Pelley actually called out Merrick Garland for indicting Trump during a presidential election.
“Help us understand the timing. These prosecutions of the former president are happening during the campaign. You could make the argument that it’s the worst possible time,” Pelley said.
Garland absurdly claimed special counsel Jack Smith is just following the evidence.
“The Justice Department has general practices about not making significant, overt steps or charging within a month or so of an election, and we are clearly outside that– that time frame in these cases. Prosecutors, special counsel they follow the facts and the law where they lead. When they’ve– gotten the– amount of evidence necessary to make a charging decision and they’ve decided that a charge is warranted, that’s when they bring their cases,” Garland said.
Scott Pelley replied, “The investigation itself has determined the timing?”
“Yes. Exactly right,” Garland said.
Scott Pelley replied, “Your critics say that it’s timed to ruin Mr. Trump’s chances in the election.”
“Well, that’s absolutely not true. Justice Department prosecutors are nonpartisan. They don’t allow partisan considerations to play any role in their determinations,” Garland said.

Newsom to Appoint Laphonza Butler, President of EMILY’s List, to Fill Feinstein’s Senate Seat | The Gateway Pundit
California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) will appoint Laphonza Butler to fill Feinstein’s vacant Senate seat.
“California Gov. Gavin Newsom will appoint EMILY’s List President Laphonza Butler to fill the seat of the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein, elevating the head of a fundraising juggernaut that works to elect Democratic women who support abortion rights, according to a person familiar with the decision.” Politico reported.
Dianne Feinstein died Thursday night at the age of 90. She was the longest-serving woman in the US Senate.
Feinstein was also one of the most corrupt Senators, and that is saying a lot. She served on the Senate Intelligence Panel yet she was caught with a Chinese spy on her payroll — a man she had employed and paid for over 20 years.
Last month on “Meet the Press,” Newsom said he would make an “interim appointment” and suggested he would choose a black woman to replace Feinstein.
California will now have two Senators who were not elected by the people.
Newsom previously chose Alex Padilla to fill Kamala Harris’s senate seat.
Alex Padilla is a crooked Democrat politician who has been swimming in the California swamp for decades.
Republicans on the House Oversight and House Administration Committees previously demanded an investigation into Alex Padilla over a “highly questionable” taxpayer-funded $35 million no-bid contract his office gave to a firm linked to the Biden campaign.
Padilla’s office took grant money from a Coronavirus stimulus package and funneled it to the Biden-linked firm to influence the federal election.
“As you know, the use of HAVA funds for voter contact is a violation of the law,” Republican lawmakers wrote. “According to the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, HAVA grants cannot be used to get out the vote or encourage voting.”
“Secretary Padilla’s decision to fast-track a no-bid contract to a pro-Biden firm raises serious ethical and legal questions and we must have answers immediately,” GOP Rep. Comer said in a statement to Fox News. “It appears taxpayer funds were illegally allocated by Padilla’s office to enable Democrat operatives to contact voters and potentially have access to sensitive voter information.”
