Pelosi to Accompany Body Of Feinstein Back to San Francisco | The Gateway Pundit
Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi will accompany the body of Dianne Feinstein back to San Francisco, California on a military jet on Saturday. 90-year-old Feinstein passed away on Thursday at her home in Washington D.C.
Pelosi and Feinstein have been friends for many years and were also neighbors in San Francisco.
According to a spokesperson for the late Senator, her daughter Katherine Feinstein will also be on the flight. As of now, the family has not announced any memorial plan details. The plane is due into San Francisco International Airport Saturday evening.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi will accompany the body of late Sen. Dianne Feinstein back to California on a U.S. military plane Saturday following a House vote passing a stopgap funding patch.
“The House has finished voting, and Speaker Pelosi will accompany Senator Feinstein on her final journey home to San Francisco,” a spokesperson for the Democratic speaker emerita said.
The two California Democrats served together in Congress for decades. Back in San Francisco, they were neighbors and friends. Pelosi’s daughter Nancy Corinne was also close to Feinstein.
A spokesperson for Feinstein said the late senator’s daughter, Katherine Feinstein, would also be on the government plane that was authorized by the White House. Her family has not yet announced memorial plans.
The plane is expected to land at San Francisco International Airport around 6 p.m. local time. Members of the public won’t be able to access the area or see the runway from the road.
The Gateway Pundit Recently reported that California Governor Gavin Newsom will be searching for a replacement for Feinstein and vows to choose a black woman.
California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom will choose Dianne Feinstein’s replacement.
Feinstein was also one of the most corrupt Senators, and that is saying a lot. She served on the Senate Intelligence Panel yet she was caught with a Chinese spy on her payroll — a man she had employed and paid for over 20 years.
Feinstein reportedly ‘found out’ that her staffer was a Chinese spy in 2013–while she was the Chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. The Chinese spy mysteriously appeared on the scene in 1993 just ONE YEAR after Feinstein was elected to the Senate in 1992.

Tennessee Will Airdrop Vaccines from Helicopters and Small Planes to Combat Spread of Rabies | The Gateway Pundit
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, oh wait, it’s vaccines.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has teamed up with the Tennessee Department of Health in an attempt to combat the spread of rabies.
In the first two weeks of October, both departments will airdrop oral rabies vaccines from helicopters and small airplanes along Tennessee’s border with Alabama, North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia.
The oral vaccines will distributed through small packages coated in a fish-scented oily substance.
Once the vaccines are air-dropped, wild animals will find them and eat them, which will then make them immune to rabies.
State Epidemiologist John Dunn said in a statement, “Rabies control keeps people, pets, and livestock safe.
The vaccines will be distributed through sachet baits coated in an oily, fish-scented substance. https://t.co/jIC6DVVZol

Per WATE:
The Tennessee Department of Health has joined forces with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to combat the spread of rabies. Starting this October, the department will be dispersing rabies vaccine packets from the air along Tennessee’s borders with North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Alabama.
“Rabies control keeps people, pets, and livestock safe,” State Epidemiologist John Dunn, DVM, PhD said. “Our partnership with USDA Wildlife Services in this project reduces rabies in wildlife and protects communities.”
The vaccines will be distributed through sachet baits coated in an oily, fish-scented substance. The baits can be found by animals and then swallowed, leading to the development of immunity to rabies. Low-flying airplanes and helicopters will drop the baits over three weeks in Tennessee.
Vaccine airdrops are not unique to the state of Tennessee; many southern states, including Texas, do it annually to help eliminate rabies breakouts.

Last year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) airdropped oral rabies vaccines over 13 states to prevent the spread of the virus. The vaccines are covered in fishmeal to attract raccoons and other wildlife that are at risk of contracting and spreading rabies.
The vaccines are about the size of a ketchup packet. They coat the mouth of the animal that bites into them. Most packets are eaten within four days, and almost all baits are gone within a week. If packets are not found and eaten, they will harmlessly dissolve and exposed vaccine will become inactivated reportedly.

U.K. Prepares to Send Boots on the Ground to Ukraine | The Gateway Pundit
British Defense Minister Grant Shapps has declared Britain’s government is planning to deploy military instructors inside of Ukraine in order to train Ukrainian forces.
In an exclusive interview with Sunday Telegraph Newspaper, Shapps stated, “I was talking today about eventually getting the training brought closer and actually into Ukraine as well.”
The British Defense Minister continued “Particularly in the west of the country, I think the opportunity now is to bring more things in country.”
In total, Britain has trained over 20,000 Ukrainians over the last year alone but those training exercises were conducted outside of Ukraine.
According to leaked documents, there were at one point close to 50 UK special forces inside of Ukraine.

Per The Guardian:
The new defence secretary, Grant Shapps, said he has held talks with army leaders about deploying British troops within Ukraine for the first time for a training programme.
Shapps, who met Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, for talks in Kyiv earlier this week, said the proposal being discussed would reduce the reliance on the UK and other Nato members’ bases.
The programme of training for Ukraine’s military, supported by 10 other nations, has taught skills to more than 26,500 recruits and is on track to have trained more than 30,000 soldiers by the end of the year, according to the UK’s Ministry of Defence.
The United States has been training more Ukrainian troops in recent months as well, but instead of training them inside of Ukraine, the U.S. military has been mostly training them within the United States.

Samsung should be worried about Xiaomi’s new smartwatch
OPINION: Samsung has long secured its spot as one of the best smartwatch manufacturers for Android smartphones, culminating in the latest Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 with a plethora of apps, Google Wear OS 4 and cool health features like full body scanning tech.
However, with this week’s reveal of the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, the company has set its sights firmly on Samsung’s wearable – and Samsung should be worried.
Revealed alongside the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro in Berlin earlier this week, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is the latest in Xiaomi’s smartwatch range. Xiaomi devices have usually been limited to Xiaomi’s own wearable OS, which tends to limit just how capable they can be, lacking features like third-party app support, Google Assistant, Google Wallet and other Google-fied features available on competing Wear OS smartwatches – but that has all changed with the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro.
That’s because the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is the first Xiaomi wearable to run Wear OS 3.5, with Google’s head of product and design for Wear OS, John Renaldi, appearing on stage at the launch to talk about the partnership with the two companies. Though it’s not quite the Wear OS 4 of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, the software is a massive upgrade from what was previously available on the OG Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro.
Image Credit (Trusted Reviews)That brings a range of benefits to Xiaomi’s latest wearable, but the most impactful will no doubt be the introduction of third-party standalone apps that’ll work on the watch, with big-name apps like Spotify and WhatsApp available to download alongside a range of alternative exercise apps like Strava.
But it’s also smaller features that’ll level up the experience on offer, from contextual notifications with smart reply technology to access to Google Wallet and Google Assistant from the wrist. Compared to Xiaomi’s older alternative, it’s day and night.
But why should Samsung specifically be worried? There is already a range of Wear OS-enabled smartwatches on the market, after all. For me, it all comes down to one huge feature: body scanning tech.
It’s tech we’ve already seen on recent generations of Samsung Galaxy Watch and essentially allows users to get a detailed analysis of their body, including elements like weight, muscle mass, water weight and more simply by holding the two side buttons on the watch. The catch? The feature requires a Samsung-branded Android smartphone to work, despite the fact that the Galaxy Watch is compatible with all Android smartphones.

Image Credit (Trusted Reviews)This means that, if you’ve got a Galaxy Watch 6 and a Google Pixel 7, you’re out of luck.
That’s where the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro comes in, with an almost identical feature that delivers much the same data as Samsung’s option, but crucially, it’ll work with any Android smartphone. That’s an instant leg-up on Samsung’s wearable.
It’s not like the two look that dissimilar either, though the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is closer to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with a traditional design and a stainless steel body. Regardless, it’s a high-end build that helps the wearable look more premium.

Image Credit (Trusted Reviews)The biggest threat for Samsung, however? That’d be the price. At just €269 (around £230), or €319 (around £276) if you want an LTE-enabled variant, it’s way cheaper than both the £289 Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and £359 Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic – and that’s without LTE connectivity.
That means you can get a very functionally similar smartwatch to Samsung’s option at a cheaper price, and it’ll work with more Android smartphones too.
So yes, I think Samsung has a lot to worry about with the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, and I hope this forces Samsung to rethink its Samsung-only wearable features in future generations of watch.

What’s The Big Deal With Quest 3 Upper Body Tracking?
VR fans are having difficulty deciding what to be most excited about with the Quest 3 Inside-Out Upper Body Tracking that will come out later this year. For one, it is the only headset to date with side cameras facing downward to track (going down) the shoulder, torso, elbow, and wrists. They tell us they will use advanced computer vision algorithms that Meta calls the “Inside-Out Body Tracking” (IOBT).
You’ll have greater accuracy because of the updated use and information of inverse kinematics (IK) that have often been inaccurate in the past. The former systems have to make guesses about the location of the head and hands as you’ve witnessed by running into the couch and other things in your living/gaming room. With the new SDK update, you’ll have a correct depiction of your location and see the torso and arms where they actually are located.
The true genius is that Quest 3 will no longer just be an estimate. The true genius is that it will no longer just be an estimate. Developers track your body direction in a typical interaction flow called “anchor thumbtack locomotion.” This action will feel more normal when you jump or place your arms in an unlikely position — even leaning over a ledge will be realistic on your avatar.
Another exciting update in the Meta Quest 3 launch is the Generative Legs Estimator, which will be released in December. After years of research, you’ll finally have an accurate estimate of legs because of the upper-body tracking and input. This update will also work on Quest Pro and Quest 2 with the head and hands. Keep in mind, the Legs system is just an estimator of what’s really going on—not actual tracking. We’ll see our avatar jump and crouch (and see the accurate positions), but it won’t track something like raising up a knee.Featured Image Credit: Upper Body Tracking System for Quest 3; From Meta; Thank you!

Megyn Kelly and Guests Rip the Second Republican Debate: ‘A Disaster’ (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Megyn Kelly discussed the Republican debate on FOX Business this week with two guests and they all seem to agree that it was terrible.
This message has to be repeated because the GOP needs to learn that conservative voters are sick and tired of this happening every four years.
Megyn saved most of her criticism for the Univision host who sounded like she worked for MSNBC.
Here’s what Megyn said, via Real Clear Politics:
MEGYN KELLY: It was terrible. Between the lackluster performance from some of the candidates and the cringe attempts and laugh lines, it seems yet again, the only real winner was Trump…My God what a hot mess. I have to say I didn’t enjoy it. I said yesterday, this is a good thing because it’s Republicans getting their ideas out there. That’s probably better for the GOP, reinforce the positions that they hold when it comes to border, when it comes to the economy. That can work to their benefit as we go into the general.
No, I take it all back. They were sniping, they were small ball, they were petty. The moderators were a disaster. I don’t think it was a good night for the Republican Party. It could have been, it just wasn’t. And I think overall it was a fail. So I will give the whole event – I won’t give it an F, but I’m gonna give it a D.
What on earth was Fox thinking partnering with Univision? That woman Ilia Calderon is a leftist who’s been partnering with Jorge Ramos, who more than anyone is responsible for the abandoned objectivity approach to Donald Trump and to journalism. They have almost singularly undermined the profession of journalism, more than any other that I can think of off the top of my head and it was intentional. She’s his co-anchor. This is a leftist news organization that’s basically propaganda. They’ve been in partnership with the Clintons. It was like having Hillary Clinton out there – this woman’s questions.
And while I’ve anchored five presidential debates in the GOP primary field, and you can go out there and it’s perfectly fine to say, ‘Hey, here’s an issue that is going to be a problem for you if you’re the nominee when you get to the general,’ you can do that…The issue selection and the way in and out of the questions showed her bias time and time and time again, and at times, she wasn’t the only one on the stage committing that sin for a GOP primary.
Watch the video below:
If the GOP doesn’t figure this out, Republican voters are just going to stop watching debates. If they all sound like CNN and MSNBC, what’s the point?

How AI is Changing Data Management: Embracing the AI-Driven Automation Era
We are entering a new era of Big Data wherein data sets have become so vast that humans simply cannot effectively analyze it in a reasonable amount of time. The availability of so much data portends many great things for the future of business intelligence. But as has always been the case, data is only as valuable as the insights that can be extracted from it.
Almost as if on cue, this second wave of Big Data has coincided with the rise of generative AI. This new and exciting technology has transformative potential across nearly every industry on the planet. When turned loose on these unfathomably large sets of data, AI can, in mere seconds, perform complex analyses and identify patterns it would take human observers weeks or even months to complete.
AI is also going to make a huge impact with the way we interact with computers. This will result in software solutions becoming more personalized and user-friendly. We will be seeing a gradual shift in the direction of a more supervisory role to AI-based solutions: We will be directing what needs to be done and AI based solutions will be doing more of the work for us. We’re already seeing AI making a huge impact on new software development, and even existing software solutions being reimagined to give users a better user experience using AI. I believe AI is going to take a lot of the burden off our shoulders in terms of the automated solutions it enables.
AI is already assisting businesses of all sizes extract more value from their data, automate repetitive tasks, and streamline existing data pipeline solutions. The AI revolution represents a seismic technological shift, and an opportunity to enhance both productivity and efficiency for data-driven businesses. Setting yourself up for success in this new AI-driven world of data management does require some planning. But when done right, the benefits are too great to ignore.
InfrastructureThese are exciting times, where everyone is trying to do something with AI. But from an implementation perspective, any business setting out to embark on an AI journey of their own must be sure they have a strong data infrastructure in place. You’ll need the right storage capacity, the right computing power, and the right data tools.
Without these fundamental components, the quality of your data will suffer. This, in turn, will limit your AI module’s abilities to extract meaningful insights from your organization’s data sets. We’ve already seen the quality of AI’s large language models (LLMs) and how they’re trained. There’s a clear trend that their success or failure usually depends on the quality of data. The old programming adage “garbage in, garbage out” can be applied here. So, you need to deliver quality data to your AI in order for it to be successful. That comes from having the right data sets and tools.
With the emergence of AI, things are changing very rapidly. Many organizations are experimenting with different ways to handle their unstructured data. Unstructured data is more difficult to handle compared to neat rows and columns. With AI, actionable insights can be extracted even from large amounts of unstructured data. The processes are very important, and infrastructure is very important. Previously we used to always start by converting unstructured data to structured data. Now we’re looking to do both.
AutomationAutomated data management platforms are helping businesses get their data into a workable state in a much quicker timeframe than ever before. This frees up resources for mission-critical tasks like strategic thinking, client partnerships, and understanding the factors that are actually driving what you’re looking for, the story you’re trying to tell, or the problem you’re trying to solve. AI and automation create capacity where it’s really needed, instead of digging through rows of unstructured data.
From a solutions architecture perspective, we recommend businesses ensure their processes are efficient so they’re not spending time on mundane tasks. If you’re spending time on those tasks, you’re wasting time. We believe you should automate whatever can be automated, and that human capital should only be devoted to tasks that cannot be automated. We’ve seen examples of low-code/no-code solutions for some time now, which help users of our products quickly build solutions and improve their data pipelines. But with AI, we’re seeing another dramatic shift. We’ve seen it be able to take on repetitive tasks, the tasks where you spend a lot of time but the gain in terms of productivity and value just aren’t there.
Let’s say you spend several hours putting together a solution to extract certain types of data from a document and going into a database. This is a simple pipeline. To build that would take a few days, maybe a week. Now that can be done within a few minutes. That’s the kind of gain you can see with AI. AI has made existing solutions even more streamlined, and users are now spending time where they should be spending it. Repetitive tasks like checking every comment, rule, or result used to take up a lot of time. With AI, we’re able to minimize that.
CultureA key component of undertaking a successful automated data strategy is achieving buy-in from members at all levels of the organization. We’ve seen this take shape as companies have placed a significant emphasis on data literacy in recent years. Today, things like data governance, data security, and how that data is handled across organizations’ pipelines has become mandatory knowledge from the C-suite down to rank-and-file employees.
At the same time, however, organizations need to be deliberate with their AI undertakings. Including whether they pursue it at all. Otherwise, they risk merely chasing shiny objects with no particular objective in mind. Companies must ensure these technologies are in line with their business goals: increasing revenue, decreasing cancellations, exploring new markets, etc.
It’s key to have a tangible project or proof-of-concept to embed AI and automation technologies in silos before expanding them across the organization. Identify your key gains, determine if it’s the right fit, then have key stakeholders involved in POCs, then expand in due course.

‘Hamilton’ Creator Lin-Manuel Miranda Wants a Taxpayer-Funded $2.5 Billion Bailout for the Woke and Failing Theater Industry | The Gateway Pundit
Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of ‘Hamilton,’ wants taxpayers to bail out the struggling theater industry with a cash infusion of $2.5 billion dollars.
One of the reasons theater companies are struggling is because of closures during the pandemic, but the main reason is the industry’s embrace of wokeness over the last few years. The theater industry has always been liberal, but they have now completely embraced the radical left, alienating many of the people who might have supported them in the past.
Does Miranda not remember singling Mike Pence out at the end of a performance of Hamilton right after the 2016 election? Now he expects conservative taxpayers to bail out his failing industry? Really?
Breitbart News reports:
‘Hamilton’s’ Lin-Manuel Miranda Wants $2.5 Billion Taxpayer Bailout for Failing Theaters
Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda met with members of Congress Thursday to push for a taxpayer-funded bailout for failing theater companies across the country. The actor helped introduce a new bill that would earmark $500 million annually for five years, or $2.5 billion, to non-profit stages.
Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) participated in the gathering that also included actress Phylicia Rashad and the heads of several theater institutions.
The briefing was organized by a group called the Professional Non-Profit Theater Coalition, which was founded by former Oregon Shakespeare Festival artistic director Nataki Garrett. During her troubled tenure, Garrett’s commitment to far-left political activism alienated numerous donors and faithful ticket buyers, hastening the festival’s near-death financial crisis.
Now, she and others are pushing for taxpayer money to rescue theater companies facing similar predicaments…
The proposed legislation — titled the Supporting Theater and Generating Economy Activity (STAGE) Act — blames the coronavirus pandemic for the many of the hardships that companies are facing.
Has Miranda forgotten the play in New York City that used Shakespeare to stage an assassination of Trump? Trump supporters haven’t forgotten it.
If theater companies need to make more money, perhaps they should try not hating half of the country and producing work that people want to see.

Socialist Students at the University of Minnesota Planning to Protest Appearance by Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett | The Gateway Pundit
Radical, left wing students at the University of Minnesota are planning to protest an appearance by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett in October.
This has become all too common. Progressive college students in the United States think that they get to decide who is allowed to speak at public institutions.
These are the same type of students who believe that college should be ‘free’ which of course means taxpayer funded, yet they also don’t think that half of the country should even be allowed on college campuses. Real life doesn’t work that way.
The College Fix reports:
U. Minnesota socialists to protest coming Amy Coney Barrett appearance
The University of Minnesota Students for a Democratic Society and Young Democratic Socialists of America plan to protest an appearance by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett next month.
Barrett will be giving the Law School’s annual Robert A. Stein Lecture on October 16, according to The Minnesota Daily.
A SCOTUS justice has given the lecture every year for the last decade.
The SDS and YDSA are angry at Barrett’s majority opinions in Dobbs v. Jackson (which overturned Roe v. Wade) and the two cases which ended affirmative action in college admissions.
“We have to use our voice and do what we do best to make sure that not only the University, but Barrett knows that that kind of forces are not welcome here,” the SDS’s Gillian Rath said.
Rath also claimed UMN officials “don’t care about our thoughts and feelings and they really don’t care about our rights.”
Rath, who’s quite involved in the abortion rights movement, participated in a protest earlier this year which demanded the establishment of more abortion clinics across the (progressive) state. She also allegedly was “harassed” by the FBI for her actions against “predatory” crisis pregnancy centers.
This is an image from the Instagram page of one of these groups:
Too many of our college campuses have been completely radicalized by the far left. That has to change.
