Senator Rand Paul Declares Himself ‘Never Nikki’ for 2024 (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Senator Rand Paul teased on Thursday that he was about to make a major announcement. People speculated that he was preparing to endorse someone for the 2024 election.
It turns out that his announcement was about not supporting someone, specifically Nikki Haley. Paul has declared himself ‘Never Nikki’ for 2024.
In a video released on Friday, Paul suggested that conservative and libertarian minded people should not trust Haley.
FOX News reports:
Rand Paul declares he is ‘never Nikki,’ weighs in on 2024 presidential race
The Kentucky Republican made the announcement in a clip posted on X, in which he said, “I’ve had a long relationship with Donald Trump and there is a lot to like there” and that “I am also a big fan of a lot of the fiscal conservatism of Ron DeSantis.”
“I think Vivek Ramaswamy has been an important voice. Also, I’ve listened to and met with the independent Bobby Kennedy,” he continued. “I’m not yet ready to make a decision, but I am ready to make a decision on someone who I cannot support, so I’m announcing this morning that I am never Nikki.”…
“I don’t think any informed or knowledgeable libertarian or conservative should support Nikki Haley. I’ve seen her attitude towards our interventions overseas, I’ve seen her involvement in the military industrial complex,” Paul said in the video. “But I’ve also seen her indicate that she thinks you should be registered to use the internet.”
“I think she fails to understand our republic was founded upon people like Ben Franklin, Sam Adams, Madison, John Jay and others who posted routinely — for fear of the government — they posted routinely anonymously,” Paul concluded. “And I think her failure to really understand that or to think that you should register through the government somehow for the internet is something that should disqualify her in the minds of all libertarian-leaning conservatives.”
Here’s the video:
As I look over the field, I don’t think I yet have a first choice, but I do know one thing: count me in as #NeverNikki! pic.twitter.com/0RjbBhnwdc

CRISPR advances Sickle Cell disease treatment
The innovative gene-editing technique, CRISPR, has made a remarkable leap from laboratory research to practical medicine by offering a groundbreaking treatment for sickle-cell disease. This debilitating illness, resulting from two defective hemoglobin gene copies, impacts 1 in 4,000 individuals in the US, primarily African-Americans, causing severe pain and limiting life expectancy to around 53 years. Utilizing CRISPR technology, scientists have successfully edited the genes responsible for sickle-cell disease, ultimately correcting the mutation and offering a potential cure for those suffering from this life-altering condition. This medical breakthrough provides hope for sickle-cell patients and establishes a solid foundation for gene-editing techniques to address and potentially cure other genetic disorders.
Bone marrow modification with gene editingResearchers have found that by making a straightforward DNA modification to bone marrow cells, the body’s alternate hemoglobin production, which typically ceases after birth, can be reactivated. In 2022, Boston-based Vertex Pharmaceuticals became the pioneer in submitting a CRISPR-based therapy for sickle-cell disease for regulatory approval. Clinical trial participants witnessed extraordinary outcomes, with the majority reporting an absence of pain after the bone marrow modification. This groundbreaking therapy offers a promising new treatment option for individuals suffering from sickle-cell disease, potentially improving their overall quality of life and reducing the need for frequent medical interventions. As this gene-editing technique continues to be refined and more patients undergo treatment, the positive results from these initial clinical trials may pave the way for additional CRISPR-based therapies targeting various genetic disorders in the future.
Cost and accessibility of the CRISPR treatmentHowever, the cutting-edge treatment carries a substantial cost of $2 to $3 million. Additionally, Vertex has not expressed intentions to provide the therapy in Africa, where sickle-cell disease is most widespread and continues to take the lives of children. Despite the steep price tag, there is hope that the treatment could become more accessible to those in need as research progresses and the production cost decreases. In the meantime, efforts to increase awareness and funding for affordable treatments in Africa and other heavily affected areas must not be overlooked, as the demand for effective therapies for sickle cell disease remains high.
The company points to the intricate treatment process, which requires a hospital stay and multiple medical procedures, as the reason for not offering it in nations with restricted healthcare resources. Instead, they emphasize the need for proper infrastructure, advanced equipment, and trained medical professionals to ensure the safe and effective administration of the treatment. In the meantime, they continue collaborating with healthcare authorities and organizations in these nations to explore strategies for overcoming these barriers and making the treatment more accessible.
Developing more cost-effective CRISPR treatmentsAs a result, scientists are currently concentrating on developing simpler and more cost-effective methods to employ CRISPR in addressing sickle-cell disease. One promising approach involves utilizing CRISPR to edit the genes responsible for sickle cell disease directly in a patient’s bone marrow cells, which could essentially correct the mutation and halt the progression of the disease. This development has the potential to significantly improve the quality of life for millions of individuals affected by sickle cell disease while also reducing the burden on healthcare systems worldwide.

I Used ChatGPT To Make My Meal Plan For The Week & This Happened
Can you please help me create a meal plan for this upcoming week? The meal plan needs to feed 2 active adults and a toddler. We don’t need any special toddler food. The toddler will eat the same food as us. The adults eat bigger portions than average.
Please give me 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. Meals should include at least 25 grams of protein, a good serving of carbohydrates, 1-2 cups of veggies and some healthy fats.
Snacks should combine at least 20 grams of protein with a carbohydrate.
I’d like you to use ingredients we already have in our fridge/freezer/pantry to build this meal plan, but we can also shop for a few new things.
What else do you need to know?

“Scarf Lady” Dr. Deborah Birx Compares Long COVID to HIV: “Just Like HIV was Destroying Our Immune System” (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Screenshot: NewsNation/Youtube
Dr. Deborah Birx, the former White House coronavirus response coordinator who destroyed the country along with Dr. Anthony Fauci, drew parallels between long COVID and the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in a recent interview with Chris Cuomo.
Addressing comparisons of long COVID to HIV, Birx, who has extensive research experience in HIV/AIDS, pointed out the similarity in their asymptomatic nature.
She noted that, like HIV, COVID-19’s impact on the body, especially in terms of long-term neurological effects and microclots, is still being understood.
WATCH:NEVER FORGET:Dr. Tony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx used the Imperial College Model to persuade President Trump to lock down the ENTIRE US ECONOMY.The fraudulent model predicted 2.2 million American deaths from the coronavirus pandemic. The authors of the Imperial College Model shared their findings with the White House Coronavirus task force in early March 2020.Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx then met with President Trump privately and urged him to shut down the US economy and ruin the record Trump economy based on this faulty model.A later critique of the Imperial College Model found the study was “completely unusable for scientific purposes” — The Imperial College study was a complete sham.Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, acting as experts, pushed a garbage model on the White House and the American public and destroyed the US economy.
Chris Cuomo: Comparisons to HIV. You’ve done a ton of research on this. Do you believe this is a false flag? Is there something that, contextually, people need to understand about that comparison? Or is this much darker a potential reality than we knew?
Deborah Birx: The reason the comparison to HIV is important is because HIV was also asymptomatic. I mean, you couldn’t see the virus through symptoms because people were infected for seven, eight, nine years before they developed symptoms. But HIV quietly destroyed our immune system. And we learned a lot about immunology from HIV, and it’s changed completely our cancer therapy. We’re learning now about mitochondria and viral impact and brain fog and the changes in our neurons and the cells that nourish our neurons that really allow us to think and move. And we’re learning that because of what Avalon Covid has done, and so there’s two sides of this coin. Every time, there’s a lot of destruction that mild and moderate Covid can do that is unseen, just like HIV was destroying our immune system. But what came out of that is brilliant science that changed how we treated HIV. And if you’re diagnosed today, you can live a very normal lifespan, and people not only survive, but thrive. We need to get to the place where people with long Covid, we’ve done the research so that people with long Covid can not only survive, but thrive.
As TGP reported in early 2020 — in mid-April of 2020, Dr. Fauci admitted that he and Dr. Birx persuaded President Trump to lock down the US economy, knowing the massive destruction this would cause in jobs, lives, economic and personal suffering, and commerce.
President that during a press conference in April, “two very smart people” came into his office and urged him to lock down the economy or 2.2 million Americans would die from the China virus.
Now, a major study backed by Oxford University suggested that strict COVID lockdowns were no more effective at reducing infections than the Swedish-style softer approach, which allowed more personal freedom and recommended rather than mandated behaviors aimed at reducing the transmission of the virus.
This conclusion challenges the tyrannical lockdown adopted by many countries, including the US, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
While the US shut down all commerce for years and destroyed the economy, Sweden took a different approach to the COVID-19 pandemic on the first wave of COVID-19 than most other countries and just allowed the China coronavirus to run its course. Instead of shutting down the businesses, the government relied on voluntary measures and recommendations to slow the spread of the virus. These measures included social distancing, working from home, and avoiding gatherings of more than 50 people.
And because of Dr. Birx and Dr. Fauci, 300,000 to 900,000 children died from starvation due to their economic lockdowns.
In an interview with Neil Cavuto, Birx admitted that she “knew” that COVID-19 vaccines “were not going to protect against infection,” yet she pushed them anyway.
“I knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection. And I think we overplayed the vaccines, and it made people then worry that it’s not going to protect against severe disease and hospitalization. It will. But let’s be very clear: 50% of the people who died from the Omicron surge were older, vaccinated.”
“So that’s why I’m saying even if you’re vaccinated and boosted, if you’re unvaccinated right now, the key is testing and Paxlovid. It’s effective. It’s a great antiviral. And really, that is what’s going to save your lives right now if you’re over 70, which if you look at the hospitalizations, hospitalizations are rising steadily with new admissions, particularly in those over 70,” Birx said.
Dr. Birx was wrong again. There were more and more reports of patients who took Pfizer’s antiviral pill experiencing a second round of Covid-19 shortly after recovering, according to NBC.
Pfizer announced in 2022 that a recent trial study revealed its antiviral pill Paxlovid was not effective at preventing Covid-19 infection in adults who had been exposed to the virus through household contact.
Scientific documentation about post-Paxlovid relapse has been available since last fall. Pfizer’s application to the FDA for emergency use authorization of Paxlovid stated that in the placebo-controlled clinical trial — which included 2,246 participants — “several subjects appeared to have a rebound in SARS-CoV-2 RNA levels around Day 10 or Day 14” after beginning treatment.
Following this report, Pfizer released a statement admitting that it failed to reduce the risk of confirmed and symptomatic COVID-19 infection in adults living with someone who had been exposed to the virus.
“While we are disappointed in the outcome of this particular study, these results do not impact the strong efficacy and safety data we’ve observed in our earlier trial for the treatment of COVID-19 patients at high risk of developing severe illness, and we are pleased to see the growing global use of PAXLOVID in that population,” said Albert Bourla, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Pfizer.

Microsoft to store all cloud users’ personal data in the EU.
Microsoft has stepped up its planned service offering with the option to store all personal data of cloud customers in the European Union.
This move represents the latest step in the US technology giant’s scheduled rollout, branded as “EU Data Boundary for the Microsoft Cloud”.
After updates to privacy and security legislation, tech firms have been implementing data strategies in the EU, with Amazon Web Services (AWS) stating last October they would permit data storage on servers hosted within the European entity.
Microsoft had an existing data presence within the EU but now it will be able to add to this on a much greater scale. Like other large-scale companies, they are used to having data storage spread out and diversified across several territories but this becomes problematic as it can be difficult to pinpoint where particular data resides and if it complies with the relevant local privacy regulations.
EU data protection laws emphasize the importance of data localization, that is the understanding of where digital information is stored and how it is processed, as well as keeping the information in the same country or region as the customer.
Transforming Microsoft’s cloud storage capabilitiesJulie Brill, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President & Chief Privacy Officer outlined on their official blog the steps the company was taking as well as detailing the next stage of the rollout to follow.
“Microsoft further expands our local storage and processing to include all personal data, such as automated system logs, making Microsoft the first large-scale cloud provider to deliver this level of data residency to European customers,” she stated.
Brill added, “Later this year, we will launch the next phase of our EU Data Boundary for the Microsoft Cloud by transforming the processing and storage capabilities for data required during technical support interactions. We will ensure that support data is stored within the boundary, and when access from outside the EU is required to enable world-class support, we will limit and secure any temporary data transfer required.”
As part of this, the company is planning a paid support service option to provide initial technical response support from within the EU.

WH Counsel Warns Biden to Stop Bringing His Big Donors to Oval Office | The Gateway Pundit
President Joe Biden has changed the way he gives White House tours to some of his biggest donors, and he did so on advice of counsel.
That, of course, strongly implies that the way the president had been conducting such tours in the past violated the law — a point left-leaning Axios seemed to overlook when it reported on the changes Wednesday.
Unnamed “people familiar with the matter” told Axios for its report that, while Biden continues to host donors at the White House, he has now restricted those visits to certain parts of the president’s residence.
According to the outlet, the visits are designed to calm anxious donors who may doubt the president’s ability to beat rival Donald Trump, 77, should the former president become the official Republican nominee in 2024 as seems increasingly likely.
Axios said Biden had to combat “some apathy” that had built up among big Democrat donors during COVID lockdowns that prevented the president from inviting large numbers of people to the White House during the first half of his term.
So the meals and “exclusive briefings” continue, according to the outlet, but only under the “clear restrictions” placed upon them by Biden’s lawyers.
“It is typical for any president, regardless of party, to host supporters at the White House complex, which is both a working office as well as a personal residence,” White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates told Axios.
“President Biden and his team take all rules concerning the White House and re-elections seriously, and we’re proud of that,” Bates added.
According to Kedric Payne, ethics director at the Campaign Legal Center, only some areas of the executive mansion are permitted to be used for campaign purposes according to the Hatch Act, which covers campaigning by elected officials.
“There are certain rooms in the White House, particularly in the residence that are not covered under the Hatch Act,” Payne said. “The president is allowed to legally meet with and entertain donors at the White House. But you cannot give campaign contributions or solicit for campaign contributions while in the White House.”
The Washington Post on Wednesday reported that Biden, 81, had held a number of meetings with donors “just before the holidays,” in part to address their “concerns about his age and energy.”
The Post cited three unnamed sources whom it said were “familiar with the meetings,” but both the White House and Biden’s presidential campaign declined to comment for the Post’s story.
While designed to calm donors’ fears about Biden’s ability to win in 2024 and then lead the free world for the following four years, the Post said the meetings, which have no set agenda, have also turned into “feedback sessions” for the president.
“Biden has enjoyed the ability to hear perspectives on political and policy matters from people outside of his presidential bubble,” the unnamed sources told the Post.
According to at least one of the Post’s sources, the meetings have served to reassure donors that Biden is still up to the task of running a campaign and running the country.
“It has dispelled anybody who has any doubts about his determination and his energy and his passion,” the source told the Post. “And these people who are wondering if he has lost a step, they leave and are like, ‘That was great.’”
An August poll by The Associated Press and the National Opinion Research Center for Public Affairs Research at the University of Chicago had 77 percent of respondents saying that Biden was “too old to effectively serve another 4-year term as president.”
The same poll found 51 percent of responding adults — still a majority, but obviously a much smaller one — saying the same thing of Trump.

How to learn Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy
Within the Wizarding World, Avada Kedavra is the worst of the Unforgivable Curses – but anything is possible in Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy has taken the gaming community by storm, with it becoming one of the most-played games of 2023, according to Steam. Not only has the story captivated fans of the world of Harry Potter, but the open-world concept means that you can truly immerse yourself in the detailed game, as well as mod it to your satisfaction.
It’s proved such a success that more games are promised to be on the way. Although much of the game is mostly wholesome, as it goes on, Hogwarts Legacy has more and more enemies to face. There are plenty of curses to use against them, however, including one powerful one: the infamous Killing Curse.
Avada Kedavra is one of three Unforgivable Curses, alongside the torturous Crucio and the mind-controlling Imperio. It delivers a kill with one hit, making it the most powerful weapon against enemies.
How to use Avada KedavraYou won’t be able to unlock the spell until pretty late on in your Hogwarts Legacy journey, however, so it won’t help too much with the core story-based missions. In fact, it comes so late in the game, you may well have already completed it all before you can unlock the curse.
To learn Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy and unlock the Killing Curse, you need to follow Sebastian Sallow’s relationship quest line. This takes place within ‘In the Shadow of the Relic’ and the game recommends players be above level 28 before starting this quest.
You must have completed all of Sallow’s previous quests, including ‘In the Shadow of Hope’ and the main story mission called ‘Lodgok’s Loyalty’. From there, you can complete ‘In the Shadow of the Relic’, the 11th of the 13 Sallow quests.
Sallow can be easily missed, so keep an eye out for his green Slytherin robes. This will be easiest to do if you are sorted into Slytherin but is possible for players from any House.
When playing through ‘In the Shadow of the Relic’, you will need to battle a cave full of Inferi and then a final boss. Once this is done, you’ll head outside and talk to Sebastian, where you’ll finally unlock the powerful Adava Kedavra.

A Guide to Visiting the Normandy D-Day Beaches
Many people have asked and keep asking me: “What town would you recommend we stay in that is close to the Normandy D-DAY beaches we are seeing, yet quaint and has restaurants….”
Here are all my answers.
Over the last few years, I have taken many US and international visitors to the Normandy D-Day Beaches.
When planning to visit these historical sites, logistics is the key, especially if you plan to get there during an Anniversary of the D-Day landings, like the one we will have this year, the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.
You should stay in Bayeux, a small town preserved from the bombardments of this terrible battle thanks to its vicinity to Caen, which was completely destroyed.

Here is an overview:
Where to Stay in Bayeux?I just felt like sharing some of my experience with you now. In Bayeux, there are countless charming hotels where you can find a very good deal.
An important thing to remember about these places is that the tourist season is from March to November.
From November to March, most tour guides and tourism professionals are in a kind of “vacation mode” after a very busy season.
The peak season here is really mid-May to late June. Prices can seriously rise for hotels around the D-Day Anniversaries, and availability can be scarce if you don’t book well in advance.

With its beautifully renovated old house atmosphere, it provides a relaxing and comfortable retreat. Indulge in gourmet and relaxing moments at the renowned Reine Mathilde hotel, featuring a restaurant and sun-soaked terrace, all nested within the medieval city.

Located conveniently in the heart of Bayeux, this property offers proximity to various attractions and delightful dining choices. With a five-star rating, this property ensures a luxurious and enjoyable stay, providing a wide range of in-house amenities to enhance your experience.

Immerse yourself in the rich history of Bayeux at the exquisite Hotel Tardif, an 18th-century noble property located in the heart of the city. Just a short 15-minute drive from the iconic D-Day beaches, this hotel has a storied past, having served as the residence of a royal botanist from Versailles and the Army Minister of Napoleon.
La Cheneviere
A Guide to Visiting the Normandy D-Day BeachesSimply the best. It’s really chic, with a swimming pool, a Michelin-rated restaurant, a spa, and lots of amenities. One minus, not in the center of town but ten minutes drive.
Manoir de Crépon – Suite Directoire
A Guide to Visiting the Normandy D-Day BeachesChic and great restaurant. Amazing swimming pool and spa treatments in the summer. How to Get to Bayeux from Paris? In order to get to Bayeux from Paris, you have two options:
By CarIf you need a car and are okay to drive in France, you should take the A14 Highway West to ROUEN, then the A13 heading to CAEN, and then you’ll see signs to BAYEUX closer to CAEN.
It should take about 2h30 – 3hrs drive to reach your final destination. You can always refill the tank on the French highways and get some snacks and food. Yet, the fuel price here is quite high, and the fuel on the highway is the most expensive you can find in France. Most of the French people buy from supermarket chains. It’s much cheaper.
If you choose the car option, remember you might have to drive through Paris. That is not something to be done by “Sunday drivers”, as traffic and the way Parisians drive is more hectic than in NYC. Many scooters, bicycles, and pedestrians do respect the lights and stops.
Also, leaving Paris center to Bayeux, you might have to cross the famous Arc de Triomphe roundabout. The kind of “black slope diamond” experience.
Driving outside Paris and in the rest of France is very easy. Just pay attention to your speed. Maximum 130 km/h on the highways. In Bayeux, parking is not a problem.
There are many parking spots, and all the hotels have parking spots for their clients.
By TrainAnother easier way to get to Bayeux is to get on the train. About 2 hours 20 minutes by train, direct train.
You should head to Gare St Lazare. St Lazare train station. There is more than one train station in Paris, so ensure you get to this one when heading to Bayeux. St Lazare train station connects with northwestern France. It is about a 10 minutes drive (when traffic is okay in Paris) from the Champs Elysées.
You can get your train tickets from this official website from the US.
From other places, visit this website.
Like all the train stations in Paris, St Lazare train station is a rather big one, so take some time ahead of you to avoid missing your train.
Onboard the train, there are restrooms, but very rarely are there snacks or cafes to buy. The train company provides free wifi and plugs to charge your devices.
At the train station, you can buy anything you want regarding food & drinks.
When you arrive at Bayeux train station, in case your guide does not meet you upon your arrival (a common option for many travelers who have just one day to visit the Normandy D-Day Beaches), you’ll find taxis right in front of the train station to get you safely to your hotel. You can pay by credit card on all the taxis.
No Ubers here, sorry.
By PlaneThis airport, though international, does not operate many flights each day, but you can find a connection to other major cities in France, in the UK, Spain, and Northern Africa.
Then, from the airport just take a taxi to your hotel in Bayeux. There are always many taxis when planes land. It takes about 30mns drive and should be under 70EUR one way.

When in Bayeux, you’ll feel like in a little ideal town of France, where it feels good to walk slowly and wander around by the water mill, the Cathedral, the Convent where the amazing Bayeux Tapestry is kept.
There is a match for everyone from simple pizza and beers to more fancy dining.
Here is my shortlist of best restaurants:
La Maison BlancheFor those who want to combine a really fun evening with delicious food, all in a Cabaret atmosphere, this is the place. Le Pommier
Excellent, traditional, perfect location and service. Book well in advance. L’Alchimie
Small restaurant, yet the chef deserves a big Wow. Just delicious fresh local food. La Rapière
Simply the best, so book as soon as you can. You won’t be disappointed, believe me.How to Get the Most of Your Day Visiting the Normandy D-Day Beaches
If I can give one good piece of advice as a tour guide myself, it is to book your tour, whether group or Private, as soon as you can. One year in advance is not a problem at all. The best guides and companies get booked many months ahead.
Also, read the reviews about your guide. TripAdvisor reviews, unfortunately, do not always match what a guide company does, as competitors and even anyone can pit a review on a guide on this platform.
I once had a review for the Mont St Michel, saying that this place was not worth it… I am not the Mont St Michel. Some companies like Tours by Locals allow only their clients to put reviews to guides they had. I recommend this.
Group Tour vs Private Tour
Well, there is a real bonus of having a tour guide just for the day, but it comes with a price. It is really worth your money, as a Private Tour will allow you to customize the day as you want, and you’ll have a guide just for you.
Group Tours, especially the ones of the Normandy D-Day Beaches, tend to be quite like “cattle herding,” and the quality of tour guides is clearly not the same as for the ones doing mostly Private Tours.
Now, another simple way to get the guide to be the best is to remember that he is doing that almost year-round, so a smile, some questions, and a happy face help a lot to break the ice.
French people are very sensitive to behavior and politeness. Do not forget it.

This is simply a Dinners like French café where you’ll get for 17EUR a good lunch. Starter buffet, main, and dessert. In the summer, they have a BBQ. Plenty of room in front for parking.
If you have a tour guide with you, remember that he/she has no breaks from the moment he/she meets you, so the lunch break (with you, his clients) is the only time during the day when he can relax a little as well as get to know you better. Take time for your lunch. French people take a long break. It’s a good occasion to have a chat and try the delicious hard cider.

If you have just one day for your tour of the Normandy D-Day Beaches, you won’t have time to see all the sites in one day. This is just impossible.
Plan the DayDepending on where you have started your day, you’ll focus on:
Longues Sur Mer German WWII canonsArromanches & the Mulberry HarbourBrecourt ManorSte Mere EgliseUtah BeachOmaha BeachNormandy American Cemetery & Visitor CenterTrust the experience of the tour guide for the itinerary. He/she lives here and has done it many times already.
Igor shows the American Cemetery in the Normandy in Northern France.Useful Tips While in BayeuxGrocery StoresIf you need some groceries or a snack, there is a small supermarket, Carrefour City, just by the Churchill Hotel, 22 rue St Jean.
Opens from 7 AM till 9 PM, except Sunday, 9 AM- 1 PM.
Rue des Bouchers Open 7/7 7AM-9PM
PharmacyThis pharmacy has staff who speak English quite well, and they know the equivalent of many US drugs in French – which is useful.
15 Rue Saint-Patrice, 14400 Bayeux
CafesA very pleasant cafe is the one of the Reine Mathilde Hotel, Le Garde Manger.
Museum in BayeuxIf you still have some time in Bayeux, I highly recommend you visit the Bayeux Tapestry Museum. There, the Bayeux Tapestry depicts the fascinating history of the Conquest of England by William of Normandy, known as William the Conqueror.
His wife Mathilda and her pet ladies handmade it between 1071 and 1085 between France and England. It is the oldest tapestry in the world and is exceptionally well preserved.
After watching the tapestry at the ground level with the audio guides, head to the first floor, where the museum gives you more insight into the context of the Tapestry.
On the 2nd floor, the movie in English gives you even more detail about the Bayeux Tapestry. You should count about 2 hours to have enough time to visit the Bayeux Tapestry.
Et voilà, you’re all set to have a great experience visiting the Normandy D-Day Beaches.
As far back as I can remember, I have always loved history and telling people about it and showing them the best places to eat, have fun and do things.
I was born in Normandy, near Lisieux, and both my grandparents lived through the German occupation and both were in the French Resistance.
This is where my passion for digging in the past really began.
After school in Lisieux, I studied history and journalism at the Sorbonne in Paris.
I have been a professional guide for three years now and I really love it!
I know and love my region. I have lived here almost all my life and I have so much to show you.
I have lived elsewhere, but I can tell you that “paradise” for me is “here” in the green pastures of Normandy.

WATCH – Bill O’Reilly Goes Scorched Earth on Biden: ‘The Democratic Party Has to Get Destroyed Next November’ (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
There is a clip of Bill O’Reilly that is going viral on Twitter/X right now and for good reason. He recently went off on Biden, the far left, Democrats, and the media.
He talks about the country’s crime problem and the refusal of progressive DAs to prosecute criminals. He says that he no longer has any progressive friends because he has thrown them all out of his house.
Love him or hate him, this is Bill O’Reilly at his best.
The Western Journal has more details:
In a video shared by Citizen Free Press on X (formerly Twitter), Bill O’Reilly went off on a rant that perhaps many of us can sympathize with.
On his podcast, “No Spin News,” O’Reilly revealed that he doesn’t “have progressive friends anymore.”
The journalist, enraged by progressive policies that have run our economy and major cities into the ground, began by saying, “We got to stop this now.” As for his “progressive friends,” he said, “they’re gone, because I can’t stomach them.”…
O’Reilly led with his outrage at the crime running rampant in blue cities, thanks to “progressive DAs funded by George Soros [who] don’t want to punish the violent criminals.” If you support that, he said, then “get out of my house … I’ve had it.”

I never really liked a whole segment of Bill O’Reilly, but that minute and 30 seconds, I agree with it all.

A lot of people feel this way.

Best games room ever – Star Citizen fan spends $30k on turning his room into a starship
Having a super cool games room is the dream of many gamers, and while we are all happy to put up a few Nanoleaf lights here and there, going to the next level and getting an architect to design your ideal gaming space is a bit next level for most of us.
We know you like looking at what others have done for inspiration, so when popular Thai YouTuber and Star Citizen fanatic Bankii decided he was going to splash the cash on a games room design based around his favorite ship in the game, the Crusader Hercules, it was always going to be cool. We were always going to show it.
Besides the bespoke wooden paneling and fiberglass to make the “cockpit”, Bankii has three 65” screens to make the surround display, which he can use for driving and space games – although how good Among Us would look on them is a different question.
A breakdown of his prices according to IGN Asia are:
Ship interior: US$11,685Automatic doors: US$1,700Kitchenette and kitchenware: US$1,4003 x 65-inch TVs: US$4,40049-inch Samsung CJ890 curved display: US$860Flight controls & steering wheel: US$1,900LED lights: US$860PC: US$6,650He actually completed this room a year ago, so some of this gear is probably in line for an upgrade, certainly in his PC – It depends on whether he has another 50k spare if he splurged on the latest Star Citizen DLC or not.
What we likeThe way the paneling leads to the screens in the cockpit that look like windows out into space. With the addition of blue LEDs to the white interior it looks like every starship ever in Hollywood. It’s a great effort.
How to make a cool games roomWe reckon you could actually construct a smaller version of this with a 3D printer or two and we might look into a feature in the near future about 3D printing parts for a cool game setup so make sure you watch out for that.
We will be looking at other cool gaming set-ups in the future so drop me a line on x via the link in my profile
