Supreme Court rejects X Corp’s bid to reveal user data requests by law enforcement
The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal from Elon Musk’s X Corp, previously known as Twitter, regarding the disclosure of user data requests by federal law enforcement for national security purposes, as per Reuters reporting. This decision upholds a lower court’s ruling that the FBI’s restrictions on public disclosure by the company do not violate the First Amendment’s free speech rights.
The origins of this legal battle date back to 2014, well before Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter in 2022. The lawsuit emerged in the wake of Edward Snowden’s 2013 leaks, which revealed extensive U.S. government surveillance and spying activities. These revelations sparked a public outcry and led to tech giants, including Google, Microsoft, Twitter, and Facebook’s parent company Meta Platforms, pushing for more transparency about government data requests.
In response, the U.S. government, in 2014, relaxed its restrictions, allowing companies to disclose the frequency of national security-related data requests in broad ranges rather than exact numbers. This policy change was further cemented by Congress in 2015, permitting limited disclosure of national security letters and Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act orders in increments ranging from 100 to 1,000.
However, X Corp sought to take transparency a step further by revealing the exact number of national security orders it received in a six-month period. The company prepared a draft report for the FBI’s review, intending to release this information publicly. The FBI, however, classified the report’s contents, preventing their public disclosure.
The legal challenge by X Corp questioned the balance between national security interests and the public’s right to know about government surveillance activities. The company argued that understanding the extent of government requests for user data was crucial for public discourse on electronic communication surveillance, which it described as a “fertile ground for government abuse” and a politically charged issue.
Despite these arguments, a trial judge dismissed X Corp’s lawsuit, and the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco upheld this decision in March 2023. The appellate court ruled that the government’s restrictions on X Corp’s speech were “narrowly tailored in support of a compelling government interest.”
The Supreme Court’s refusal to hear X Corp’s appeal leaves the lower court’s decision intact, marking a significant moment in the ongoing debate over privacy, transparency, and national security in the digital age. This decision implies that tech companies will continue to be limited in how they can publicly discuss government surveillance requests, maintaining a status quo that some critics argue lacks sufficient transparency for users and the general public.

TCL Nxtpaper 3.0 makes reading a display even more like enjoying a book
TCL has announced the latest version of its NXTPAPER display technology, along with a series of new devices featuring the eye-friendly, paper-like screens.
During CES 2024, the manufacturer most famous for its affordable television sets, revealed the NXTPAPER 3.0 technology with will take pride of place within the NXTPAPER 14 Pro tablet and TCL Tab 10 NXTPAPER 5G. Later this year the TCL 50 Series phones will also include the technology.
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II on the cheap
The QuietComfort Earbuds II are among the best of their kind for noise cancelling, so for any busy commuters of cafe workers, this deal is for you.
AmazonWas £279.95Now £198.95The third-generation NXTPAPER technology builds upon the blue-light filtering tech and built-in eye care assistant with some important new innovations.
The central innovation, TCL says, is called CPL – Circularly Polarised Light, which the company says is akin to the experience of reading books in natural light. It achieves this by simulating the emission – reflection – refraction path of natural light offering additional eye comfort.
There’s also higher refresh rates in NXTPAPER 3.0, as well as flicker-free viewing experience courtesy of DC dimming. TCL has also improved the adaptive colour temperature feature, which automatically adjusts the colour temp based on natural light and the time of date.
NXTPAPER continues to feature eye-car tools like the 20-20-20 rule, which prompts users to take 20 second breaks every 20 minutes in order to focus on an object 20 feet away. The tech also proactively detects poor light and prompts users when they’ are too close to the display.
When it comes to the devices pushing the the out of the gate, the NXTPAPER 14 Pro tablet looks like a doozy. It has a 14-inch 2.8K display, MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chip and a considerable 12GB RAM. There’s a massive 12,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging. Unfortunately, this is a US release and won’t be coming to Europe as things stand.
The Tab 10 NXTPAPER 5G is a little farther down the trough with a 10.4-inch 2K resolution screen, unspecified octa-core processor. The company also isn’t ready to offer up any details about the TCL 50 smartphones at present.

CNN’s First Electoral Map Projection of 2024 Shows Trump Positioned to Win the Election | The Gateway Pundit
CNN’s first projection of the Electoral College map is great news for Trump and not good at all for Biden.
Trump is already over 270 based on current polling data.
Does everyone remember in 2016 when the left threw a six month long fit about the Electoral College after Trump won? We may have to go through that again a year from now as Trump is being sworn in.
RedState reports:
CNN’s First Electoral Map Shows Biden in Big Trouble, Trump in Position to Win
CNN has come out with its first electoral map of the campaign season and the “Road to 270.” The map is based on polling and other factors they detailed.
And it is that path to 270 that we attempt to explore here. We base this current outlook on public and private polling, conversations with campaign advisers, Republican and Democratic political operatives, members of Congress, and political professionals involved with outside groups poised to be active in the race.
First, let’s start by saying how hilarious it is that they spent multiple paragraphs downplaying the map before they even started talking about it. Here’s a small sample.
This is an exercise designed to capture where the race stands today. If we have learned anything in recent American political history, it is to expect the unexpected. We don’t even know for certain if Biden and Trump will be the two major party nominees in the fall. However, since that appears to be the likeliest choice at this point, we have explored this initial outlook through the lens of a Biden vs. Trump race. Future versions of this outlook will similarly reflect the realities of the race, as best we can assess them at the time.
Take a look below:
Map of 2024 based on CNN projections
Obviously take this with a grain of salt, but if this is indicative of reality and holds until November, this year will be interesting pic.twitter.com/IEsIGTaVrX

November is still many months away but it’s nice to see things trending the right way for Trump.

Former Rep. Madison Cawthorn Claims Government is Behind ‘Honeypot’ Operations to Blackmail Politicians — Recounts Personal Experience (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Screenshot: TENET Media/Youtube
In an interview with Benny Johnson, former Representative Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) claimed that the government is employing ‘honeypot’ operations to gain leverage over politicians.
Cawthorn’s allegations suggest a shadowy operation within the government, wherein attractive individuals are used to entice and compromise public officials.
During the interview, Cawthorn described scenarios in which extraordinarily attractive individuals, whom he referred to as “tens,” would appear in unexpected places and show a strong interest in politicians.
“If you are ever somewhere, and you all of a sudden see a ten – you know, I’m just talking about physical attraction – seeing a ten is not an everyday thing. That’s why they’re tens. You know, every woman is beautiful, but, you know, just objectively, that’s… That woman makes a scene when she walks through a room, and you see a ten. It’s somewhere they probably shouldn’t be. You wouldn’t normally expect to see a ten. Like, you’re at a small town bar, and you see a supermodel walk in from Brazil. You’re like, okay, that’s weird.”
“And then, all of a sudden, they’re very interested in you. Just know that that person is probably there on purpose, and they’re very good at their job, and they are trying to put you in a compromising position.”
He suggested that such operations are orchestrated by government agencies to maintain control over members of Congress.
“I have found that the most common thing in Washington, used to blackmail you with whatever organization, is honeypots, and it’s from within our own government,” Cawthorn revealed.
He further insinuated that a recently leaked story about the FBI investigating a high-class brothel was a veiled threat to Congress.
“I mean, you just saw that the FBI got a building built for them, bigger than the Pentagon. And then, all of a sudden, think about it. Ten days before the vote was supposed to happen, when it was likely not going to pass, a story got leaked. Things don’t get leaked from the FBI.”
“A story got leaked that the FBI had been investigating a brothel in Virginia, a very high-class brothel. It’s $25,000 a night to get in, and all the elites go there, among other things. It said several members of Congress were on the list. But if you notice, they didn’t release the names of those members of Congress, and what it was. You can just take my word for it, but this is my hypothesis: they’re basically saying, ‘Go against us, don’t give us this building, and it’s going to be your name on that list.’”
It can be recalled that a day before 70 GOP representatives, along with Democrats, approved $300 million in funding for new FBI headquarters, the Justice Department announced arrests in a high-end brothel network used by elected officials, military officers, doctors, and more.
The politicians, military officers, and government contractors who visited high-end brothels in eastern Virginia and Boston may have been lured into a ‘honeypot’ scheme by Israel, Russia, China, or South Korea, according to intel officials.
“Three individuals have been arrested in connection with operating sophisticated high-end brothels in greater Boston and eastern Virginia. Commercial sex buyers allegedly included elected officials, high tech and pharmaceutical executives, doctors, military officers, government contractors that possess security clearances, professors, attorneys, scientists and accountants, among others,” the US Attorney’s Office of the District of Massachusetts said.
According to the DOJ, the following defendants have been charged with conspiracy to coerce and entice to travel to engage in illegal sexual activity.
Cawthorn recounted personal experiences where he suspected being targeted by such schemes. He described instances of being approached by multiple attractive women, which he found suspicious.
“I’m telling you, these people are very creative. I’ve had a lot of women who, I’m like, ‘That wasn’t that funny of a joke, and you’re laughing way too hard.’ But I’m going to tell you right now, I accept that I’m a decently good-looking guy. I’ve got blue eyes, a decent jawline. But I also accept the fact that I’m in a freaking wheelchair. And I’m like, ‘I don’t know why three tens would all show up at one time, suggesting we should all go back together.’ And I’m like, ‘No, actually, I don’t think you guys are real.’”
Madison Cawthorn recounted an incident in Texas that he suggests was an attempted ‘honeypot’ trap.
“I’m at this bar, everything’s going great, and then I see a pretty girl,” Cawthorn recounted, suggesting that the situation developed in a way that seemed too orchestrated to be coincidental.
He further explained his suspicion by noting how the women, who claimed to be friends, were not interested in anyone else at the bar but him. Cawthorn, sensing a setup, decided to leave the situation, stating, “I looked at them, smiled, and I was like, oh, as fun as that sounds, I’m a man of God, so I got to get out of here.”

Madison Cawthorn exposes the truth about “Blackmail” and “Honeypots” in Congress pic.twitter.com/DXMFZU3R2q
— Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) January 7, 2024
In 2022, Cawthorn exposed the scandalous activities in D.C., revealing invitations to orgies and drug parties he received, as stated during an interview.
“The sexual perversion that goes on in Washington. I mean, being kind of a young guy in Washington, the average age is probably 60 or 70.”
“And I look at all these people, a lot of them that I’ve looked up to through my life, I’ve always paid attention to politics, guys that then all of a sudden, you get invited to like, well, “hey, we’re going to have kind of a sexual get together at one of our homes. You should come.” And I’m like, what did you just ask me to come to? And then you realize they’re asking you to come to an orgy.”
“The fact that there’s some of the people that are leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our country, and then you watch them do a key bump of cocaine right in front of you, and it’s like, this is wild.”
Following his interview and his open discussion on the perversion and filth in Washington D.C., House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy DID NOT ask for an investigation.
Instead, GOP Leader McCarthy met with Madison Cawthorn and told him he needs to turn his life around or “there will be consequences.”
And there were consequences. Following this interview, the Uniparty released numerous smears and hit pieces on Rep. Madison Cawthorn.
Cawthorn subsequently faced defeat in his election, reflecting a political ‘rite of passage’ where non-conformists were systematically eliminated from the higher ranks of authority.

Oppo Find X7 Ultra vs iPhone 15 Pro Max: What’s the difference?
Oppo has revealed its top-end flagship for 2024 in the form of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, but how does it compare to Apple’s most capable smartphone, the iPhone 15 Pro Max?
While both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and Oppo Find X7 Ultra have a lot going for them, there are a few key differences that might sway you one way or the other. Here, we’ll go through some of the biggest differences between the Oppo Find X7 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The Oppo Find X7 Ultra has a better camera setupThe iPhone 15 Pro Max is a particularly capable mobile snapper, sporting a trio of rear lenses comprised of a 48MP f.1.8 main camera, 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide and a new 12MP f/2.8 telephoto with enhanced 5x zoom compared to the 3x zoom of the iPhone 15 Pro.
We praised the quality of both images and videos in our review, with well-rounded performance both in well-lit and low light scenarios.
However, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra might have the iPhone 15 Pro Max beaten on the camera front if specs are anything to go by. That’s because the X7 Ultra sports what Oppo calls a ‘quad main camera system’, which is to say that all four lenses are of ‘main camera’ quality.
That starts with the 50MP main camera, backed by a second-gen 1-inch camera sensor that’s a whopping 60% larger than the iPhone’s main lens, coupled with OIS and a fast f/1.8 aperture. It doesn’t stop there either; the 50MP ultrawide has a massive 1/1.95-inch sensor and a fast f/2.0 aperture, making it one of the largest, fastest ultrawide lenses on the market.
It’s the duo of periscope lenses that really stand out, however. The 50MP 3x periscope lens may not be quite up to the 5x of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but the 50MP 6x periscope lens is – and it goes much beyond that too, with a maximum digital zoom of 120x.
Both telephoto lenses have large sensors – 3x bigger than the iPhone 15 Pro Max’ periscope lens when it comes to Oppo’s 3x sensor – with OIS. Combined, that provides complete optical coverage from 3x to 10x and beyond.
Oppo has also worked on image processing tech to reduce over-sharpening, over-exposure and other elements present in smartphone cameras.
It certainly sounds capable, but it’s something we’ll have to put to the test once we go hands-on with the top-end flagship.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max has a premium Titanium buildThe Oppo Find X7 Ultra has a rather striking two-tone design with a glass and vegan leather rear, complete with an aluminium chassis to tie it all together. It’s available in three finishes – Ocean Blue, Sepia Brown and Tailored Black – and sports the flagship-level IP68 dust and water resistance to keep it going no matter the weather.

However, it’s not something we’ve not seen before; almost every premium phone is a combination of glass and aluminium, and many phones have a vegan leather rear.
That’s why the iPhone 15 Pro Max stands out, sporting an upgraded Titanium chassis in place of the stainless steel frame in previous Pro and Pro Max iPhones. It’s not only lighter than stainless steel, providing a serious reduction in weight compared to its predecessor at 221g, but it’s just as robust and the brushed finish feels great in the hand.
It, of course, also comes with IP68 dust and water resistance, it’s protected by Apple’s in-house Ceramic Shield glass protection and it’s available in four flavours; Black, White, Blue and Natural Titanium.
The Oppo Find X7 Ultra has faster charging technologyThe iPhone has never had the fastest charging by any means, but it has trickled up through the years to somewhere around the 25W-30W mark with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple doesn’t ever officially confirm maximum charge speeds, making this pretty difficult.
That’s paired with 15W MagSafe charging and 7.5W Qi wireless charging support, making it a versatile bit of kit when you need to top up the battery.
However, it pales in comparison to the 100W charging available on the Oppo Find X7 Ultra. Oppo hasn’t confirmed charging times just yet, but given its 5000mAh battery and other similarly specced alternatives, that should go from 0-100% in around half an hour.
It’s similarly juiced up on the wireless charging front with 50W wireless charging support, though this requires a special Oppo-branded charger to get the fastest speeds.

Image Credit (Trusted Reviews)The iPhone 15 Pro Max is likely more powerfulApple does a pretty good job when it comes to developing the chipset used within iPhones – after all, it has been doing it for years at this point. With the iPhone 15 Pro Max, that comes in the form of the A17 Pro, Apple’s first 3nm SoC with blisteringly fast performance that has beaten all of the smartphone competition until this point.
That’s likely to continue despite the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm’s latest top-end flagship chipset, which is built on the less efficient 4nm process – but we’ll put that claim to the test once we go hands-on with the Find X7 Ultra.
Whether the difference will be noticeable in everyday use, however, is another story; likely not.
Besides, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 can do things that the A17 Pro can’t. AI processing is one of the biggest strengths of Qualcomm’s chipset, able to run complex generative AI tasks like text and image generation completely on-device with no internet connection required. The catch? The Oppo Find X7 Ultra sadly does nothing to utilise much of that AI processing power.
You can’t buy the Oppo Find X7 Ultra in most of the worldIt certainly looks like Oppo has an impressive early 2024 flagship on its hands with the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, which makes the fact it’s a China-only release with no worldwide plans all the more disappointing.
You can still import it from China, granted, but it’ll come with import fees and you’ll have to side-load Google Play and GMS onto the phone yourself – not for the non-techy among us.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max, on the other hand, is readily available to buy around the world (including China), although it comes at a premium price of £1199/$1199. Still, at least you can actually buy it if you’re tempted!

Appeals Court Blocks California Law Banning Firearms in Public Places | The Gateway Pundit
Last month a federal judge temporarily blocked a newly signed California law that banned people from carrying firearms in virtually all public places.
“The law signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom in September was set to take effect Jan. 1. It would have prohibited people from carrying concealed guns in 26 places including public parks and playgrounds, churches, banks and zoos. The ban would apply whether the person has a permit to carry a concealed weapon or not. One exception would be for privately owned businesses that put up signs saying people are allowed to bring guns on their premises.” AP reported last month.
US District Judge Cormac Carney of the Central District of California, a Bush appointee, granted the ban and issued a scathing statement.
Judge Carney called the law, which was signed by California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom, a “sweeping, repugnant to the Second Amendment, and openly defiant of the Supreme Court.”
The law, which would have gone into effect on January 1, banned guns from 26 public places including banks, zoos, churches, and public parks. The law would have prohibited people with concealed carry permits to carry firearms in the banned places.
On Saturday an appeals court again blocked the law from taking effect.
“A 9th Circuit Court of Appeals panel dissolved a temporary hold on a lower court injunction blocking the law. The hold was issued by a different 9th Circuit panel and had allowed the law to go into effect Jan. 1.” ABC 7 reported.
“Saturday’s decision keeps in place a Dec. 20 ruling by U.S. District Judge Cormac Carney blocking the law. Carney said that it violates the Second Amendment and that gun rights groups would likely prevail in proving it unconstitutional.” the outlet reported.
Newsom’s office blasted the decision from the appeals court and called it a “dangerous decision” that “puts the lives of Californians on the line.”

Oppo Find X7 Ultra sounds like the best Android flagship you can’t buy
Oppo has announced its new Find X7 Ultra flagship phone, which it says is the world’s first quad main camera with four 50-megapixel cameras on the rear.
The China-only release and successor to the Oppo Find X6 Pro is headlined by the advanced 1-inch Sony LYT-900 main sensor and this is the first time its been deployed within a phone. It’s got an f/1.8 aperture with optical images stabilisation, plus a 50% reflection reduction. The optical focal length is a handy 23mm.
The Oppo Find X7 Pro doubles down on periscope lenses, deploying a pair of them. There’s both 3x and 6x periscope telephoto cameras. Both of them have 50-megapixel resolutions. Finally, you’ll get a 50-megapixel ultra wide camera.
Oppo says the Find X7 Ultra delivers four breakthroughs for smartphone photography. There’s a new HyperTone Image Engine to guard against the over processing of photos, promising it “safeguards photo integrity, preserving highlights, shadows and mid-tones with a natural look.”
There’s also a new Uninterrupted Zoom tech via the Quad Main Camera which will deliver quality snaps from 14mm to 270mm focal lengths. There’s a Hasselblad Portrait Mode, that can capture portrait images at 23mm, 44mm, 65mm, and 135mm.
Finally there’s a Hasselblad Master Mode that can capture RAW Max photos that has 50-megapixel RAW photos with 13 stops of dynamic range.
Away from the camera, there’s a QHD+ screen, with 1-120Hz LPTO tech, while brightness goes up to 4500 nits when viewing HDR content. There’s a DisplayMade A+ rating from the display, but Oppo’s press release doesn’t mention the display size itself. Previous reports have it at 6.82-inches.
The phone is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, backed by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of storage. There’s also a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 100W wired and 50W wirelessly.
It’s kind of a shame that this phone is China-only for now, because this sounds like it might be the Android smartphone to beat in early 2024.

Ben Bergquam Spends Over an Hour on Phone Attempting to Report Credible Terror Tip From Border to ICE and DHS – Told Image of Face is Not Enough Information to Track Down Dangerous Illegal Immigrant (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Real America’s Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam was seemingly ignored by Homeland Security recently while trying to report a potential terrorist who was allowed into our country at the wide-open southern border.
Bergquam says he has the suspected terrorist’s face on video and a first name. However, he was told that the Department does not accept that kind of information.
The Gateway Pundit reported that an illegal alien who traveled from Iran to Jacumba, California, recently warned Ben of the Islamic terrorism and other foreign adversaries that are coming through our southern border.
“If I was governor here, I would be afraid,” the unidentified man said, noting that “all these people” coming across our borders are “military age.”
Bergquam later told The Gateway Pundit, “What’s even scarier is that after that interview, I received an email from somebody in that camp reporting a potential terrorist on the route with him. I’m in contact with the FBI now, but you won’t believe the response I got from Homeland Security – truly pathetic!”
More than 11 million illegals, who are mainly military-age males and include many known or suspected terrorists, have invaded the US on Joe Biden’s open border invitation.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, there were 17 illegals encountered in November alone that were on the FBI’s terror watchlist, According to data from Customs and Border Protection. How many more have slipped through the cracks with the other 11 million illegal aliens?
Many illegals ditch their identification cards and identifying papers before surrendering to Border Patrol officers, meaning there’s no way to tell who they are. And as it turns out, Homeland Security apparently doesn’t use facial recognition software either!
More than 300,000 illegal aliens crossed over the US border on Biden’s open border invitation in December, according to Customs and Border Protection.
Meanwhile, our federal government is more interested in prosecuting peaceful Americans who attended the January 6 protest in Washington, DC, than securing the border and stopping terrorism by foreign radicals.
After waiting for over ten minutes on hold with Homeland Security’s tip line, Bergquam was told that he did not have enough information — to report a terrorist!
The tip line agent said he “cannot process the report” without the name, date of birth, and current address of the suspected terror threat.
After Bergquam told the agent that the potential terrorist had already been released into the United States and that he had video footage of the suspect’s face, the agent responded, “We don’t accept [that] type of information.”
When Bergquam began to ask how they could deal with illegal immigrants who lie and “give us a false name,” he was cut off and again told the report could not be processed without the previously mentioned information. They’re not going to even try to figure it out or flag the suspect’s facial image as a suspected terror threat. Instead, that’s Bergquam’s responsibility if he wants to protect his country, according to the so-called Department of Homeland Security.
“that’s your guys’ job, not my job! That’s terrible,” exclaimed Bergquam before telling DHS he would try to track down this possible terrorist. This same guy was processed and transported deeper into the United States by the same people who now say they can not possibly find him.
“Can’t you go with the date that he was processed and use [facial recognition]?” asked Bergquam, but the agent responded, “I don’t have precise information. All I have is a pen and paper and a computer to write on.”
This is unbelievable! The agent didn’t even appear to take down any information that Ben gave him so that an investigation could be opened. He also did not ask for the video footage, which, as Ben suggested, could be cross-referenced with the processing date and footage from the Border Patrol checkpoint!
Our “law enforcement” and intel agencies must be too busy compiling evidence against and spying on the tens of thousands of peaceful and law-abiding citizens who are now being targeted for protesting outside of the US Capitol, as DC US Attorney Matthew Graves told reporters last week.
After the phone call, Bergquam provided the following commentary:
BERGQUAM: That’s insane, guys! That’s Homeland Security! I’m not making this up. I got an email from a guy I interviewed, who said he was with [somebody] who admitted to being a terrorist, providing a fake name to Homeland Security when he turned himself in after crossing illegally. I just jumped through an hour of hoops, called two different Border Patrol sectors, and they gave me Homeland Security’s number, tip line. I just called the tip line. You just heard it. That’s what they told me; unless I have the guy’s—I had his first name—and I have a video, a 20 second video of his face. Unless I have his first and last name, his date of birth and where he’s living NOW, they can’t even make the report. What? That is the state of Homeland Security in America today. I’m surprised he didn’t ask me for his pronouns. Holy sh*t. Oh Lord, help us.
Watch below:
Bergquam shared the video on X, commenting,
If you thought that interview yesterday was bad, you won’t believe this. *This is not a joke. And I am posting this in the hopes that it helps make our country safer, because after my experience yesterday, I’m even more concerned!
I received what I believe to be a credible tip on a potential terror suspect that has come across our border and spent an hour and a half yesterday trying to get somebody to investigate it. This is part of my phone call with Border Patrol who suggested I contact the Department of Homeland Security tip line. I truly could not believe what I was told!
Not only are Joe Biden, and the Democrats allowing our country to be invaded, this is how incompetent the process for reporting potential threats is. I guess when your priority is advancing DEI, and attacking January 6 patriots I shouldn’t be surprised. We desperately need to get people in charge of this country that put this country first again.
I did finally get a congressional office and a different agency to take it seriously and have passed the information on. The only thing I can’t help but think is how many more have gotten through, and we have no idea who or where they are! Pray for our country and getting involved to help save it. #Trump2024 #SaveAmerica

Samsung’s surprise CES announcement is a speaker for The Frame fans
The Frame is one of the slickest TVs you can buy, turning a blank rectangle into a hub of artwork. Samsung is now trying to reproduce its success with the Music Frame, and we got an early look at CES 2024.
Samsung has carved out a niche in the TV market with its lifestyle TVs, with The Frame becoming increasingly popular on Instagram and TikTok. The basic idea is that instead of your TV turning off when you’re not watching it, it turns into a digital photo frame and a display to showcase various artworks from a dedicated art store.
While they’ve never been the best-performing TVs, the matte display and tasteful interchangeable bezels have made them a strong choice for those who care a little more about the overall look and less about the feature set. With the Music Frame, it seems like Samsung is hoping to replicate some of The Frame’s success with a speaker.
Image Credit (Trusted Reviews)The Music Frame is a square speaker, designed to be wall-mounted and either paired with a Samsung TV and soundbar or used solely as a wireless speaker. Like with The Frame TV, special attention has been paid to ensuring the power cable blends into a wall to give it a floating look.
Rather than a screen, the front of the Music Frame features a spot for a piece of art to fit into and you’ll be able to choose from a large selection once orders go live later in the year. Samsung had many of these art options on show at CES 2024 and they helped the Music Frame look like any standard frame, blending into a wall and not looking at all like a speaker.

Image Credit (Trusted Reviews)Pricing has yet to be announced for the Music Frame and you’ll have to wait a little longer to get one in your home as release details also weren’t revealed at the event. Samsung also used CES 2024 to announce multiple TV upgrades, including larger OLED models, updates to its 8K range and plenty of changes to its Tizen software.

Secret Hospital Stay Story Gets Worse: SecDef Austin Remained in Walter Reed ICU to Protect His Privacy After He No Longer Needed to Be There; Blames Chief of Staff Illness for Delay in Notifying Biden | The Gateway Pundit
The Pentagon’s story about Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s secret hospital stay is getting worse the more Austin’s spokesman says about it. New statements on Sunday by Pentagon Press Secretary Major General Pat Ryder attempt to explain the how of Austin’s illness and secrecy but not the why. Incredibly Ryder blames the failure to notify Joe Biden and the White House until Thursday on Austin’s chief of staff Kelly Magsamen taking ill. Also, Ryder says Austin, who remains at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, overstayed his time in the ICU because of space and privacy concerns. In other words, Austin took an ICU bed he no longer needed so as to keep his condition secret. Austin refuses to disclose the nature of his illness or why he kept it secret, except that it followed an elective medical procedure.

Austin III poses for his official portrait in the Army portrait studio at the Pentagon in Arlington, Va., Jan 23, 2020.(U.S. Army photo by Spc. XaViera Masline)Ryder gave no estimate on when the 70-year-old Austin may be released or whether Austin was taken by ambulance when he took ill on New Year’s Day.
As secretary of Defense, Austin is sixth in line of succession to the presidency (VP, House Speaker, Senate Pro Tempore, Secretaries of State, Treasury, Defense…)
Earlier Sunday, Ryder issued a bland press release on Austin:
Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder provided the following statement:
Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III remains hospitalized at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center but is recovering well and in good spirits.
Since resuming his duties on Friday evening, the Secretary has received operational updates and has provided necessary guidance to his team. He has full access to required secure communications capabilities and continues to monitor DoD’s day-to-day operations worldwide.
The Secretary spoke to President Biden yesterday. He has also been in contact with Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr. and his senior staff.
While we do not have a specific date for his release at this time, we will continue to provide updates on the Secretary’s status as they become available.
Sunday evening Ryder issued a statement to reporters with more details on the how , but not the why, that raises more questions and outrage.
Reporters posted various takes on Ryder’s statement:
ABC News’ Luis Martinez, “1/3“On Friday, December 22, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III underwent an elective medical procedure at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He was on leave at the time. He returned home on Saturday, December 23,” @PentagonPressSec tells @jparkABC…2/3″On the evening of January 1, he began experiencing severe pain and was transported to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit,” Ryder told ABC…3/3 “For privacy reasons, we’re not able to provide additional information. He was placed in the hospital’s intensive care unit to ensure immediate access to due to his medical needs, but then remained in that location in part due to hospital space considerations and privacy.”

CBS News’ Eleanor Watson, “New details on Defense Secretary Austin’s hospitalization, per @PentagonPresSec:- Dec 22 – Austin had an elective medical procedure at Walter Reed. – Dec 23 – he returned home- Jan 1 – he began experiencing severe pain, was transported to Walter Reed and admitted to ICU…He was admitted to the ICU for both his medical needs and privacy. The delay in notifying the White House and the deputy secretary is because Austin’s chief of staff had an illness.”

Timeline on who was told and when:
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Q. Brown Jr. was told Tuesday, the day after Austin went to Walter Reed. Brown apparently did not inform Biden or anyone.
Deputy Secretary Kathleen Hicks performed some of Austin’s duties while on vacation in Puerto Rico but she was not informed until Thursday he was in the hospital.
Joe Biden and the White House, including National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan were not told until Thursday.
Congress was not informed until Friday, just fifteen minutes before the Pentagon issued a press release.
Senior military and civilian officials at the Pentagon received an email from Austin’s chief of staff Friday afternoon, two hours before the press release was issued.
Some Pentagon officials were not told at all and learned about Austin’s illness from press reports Friday night.
Other Pentagon officials were lied to by Austin’s staff over the week, being told he was working at home, reported Politico (excerpt):
“But Austin’s hospitalization was a closely guarded secret, kept from even senior Pentagon officials and congressional leaders until just before the public statement, according to nine DOD officials and two congressional aides. Some Pentagon officials only learned of Austin’s situation through Ryder’s news release. One of the DOD officials said their office was told by Austin’s aides that the secretary was working from home for the week.”
