After 5 years - Julie sees her first love on My Sexy Saturday #MySexySaturday #Saturday7 #MSS86
This weeks 7 sentences come from Circles Interlocked - Book 3 of Circles Trilogy
Five years - Julie hadn't seen or thought about him in all that time, and now in the middle of nowhere, he stood on the beach drying off from a swim. Droplets flew as Robert shook his hair. His black mane was shorter than the last time she saw him. The wet ends dripped water on his bare, muscular shoulders. Tricia, an old high school friend once said he had the body of a male stripper - time hadn't changed that.Julie stepped back onto the beach path, transfixed by the sight of the one person she hated. Her repulsion and loathing of him ran so deep; she'd repressed all memories of him.
Blurb Circles Interlocked - Having been betrayed by the man she assumed she was destined to be with forever; Julie Anderson slapped Robert Holiday in an angry ending to their brief love affair. Heartbroken that her love affair didn't end with the fairy tale Happily Ever After, Julie leaves town to pursue her dream of being a dancer. As fate has a curious sense of humor, eight years later, they wake up in bed together. Now it is up to love to fix what time cannot mend.

Robert's swoon worthy line to Julie from Dancing in Circles on Book Boyfriend Cafe
'); This line is from my NA contemporary romance - Dancing in Circles - Book 1 of Circles Trilogy.
scene set - Dance student Julie is creating a dance and gang member Robert is her dance partner.
Julie showed him different ways to lift and hold her, how to spin and catch her. She marked out some dance moves between each pose. Robert fought to keep his focus on her words and instructions and not on the sensual movements she performed or the closeness of her body when he held her in a pose."And we'll end with the last lift we did. Hold me for a few counts, lower me slowly and then I'll end with an arch."He blinked, sighed and nodded. She pressed play and began to move. When they finished, she said, "Good rehearsal. A dancer becomes involved with the music. Feel it as you move me. Don't worry about counts or beats. Just feel the passion of dancing."Robert yawned. "Aren't you beat? I'm tired and I haven't been dancing all day.""I'm strangely wired with energy." She wrapped her arms around his neck. "You energize me. Inspire me. My soul feels like it's going to explode if I don't move."He leaned his face closer. "I've never been anyone's inspiration before." He kissed her. A simple kiss expressing what his soul felt, but his mouth couldn't say.
Dancing in Circles. One born into privilege and a charmed life surrounded by love and family. The other born to a life of violence on the streets as the solemn gang leader of the notorious Shoresmen. A young, idealistic co-ed, Julie, meets a jaded, cold gang member, Robert, and cracks his icy shell, allowing the warmth of her love to awaken his soul.

Kendall drops a big hint to Hunter on this week's Book Hooks #MFRWHooks #MFRAuthor
Happy April Fool's. Sorry this wasn't up in time. I forgot to change the time when I schedule this. It was going to go up late this afternoon.
On this week's Books Hooks a snippet from my NA contemporary hockey story - A Guy and A Girl.
Scene set- Chelsea and her best friend, Kendall, are in a club. Hunter is their waiter. Hints of a future conflict arise.
Kendall tossed some bills onto his tray and said, "I'm buying this round. Keep the change." She slid her hand up the back of his thigh. "I'm sure you'll earn your tip." Hunter shifted closer to Chelsea. "I'll be back later to see if there's anything else you want.""Only you, Hunter." Lust was audible in Kendall's voice.

Trading Vincent Crow by DCJ Wardle
TRADING VINCENT CROW BY DCJ WARDLE
Vince Crow had been party to a revelation the day before that was going to change his life forever. He was no longer one of the small town crowd that delighted in tales of vomiting into plant pots. Vince Crow was about to start living life differently.
Vince Crow had heard somewhere that you could trade a piece of useless junk on the internet and, within a year of swapping it for better and better things, get cool stuff. Crow decided that he himself was going to start off as that piece of tat, jump from one job to the next; indeed, he would trade one lifestyle for a new one, until he was finally a success. Every three months he would have to trade-up for an entirely new life – a new job, a new girl, new wheels, a new pad, new threads – until he reached the top.
The plan of comparing himself to a used item traded over the internet was of course marginally flawed, as there is a human factor to all of this which he’d overlooked. Besides, success isn’t just about work. It’s about the car, the clothes, the house, and getting the girl, so changing all of that with every new trade upwards is a lot more difficult than swapping an old stereo in the classifieds. Crow quickly learns what the price of success really is. An education he would never have got if he had gone to college...

Julie's realization about the fight on Weekend Writing Warriors #sunday
Welcome to another weekend of Weekend Writing Warriors. My 8 sentence snippet this week is from my first release from my NA contemporary romance – Dancing in Circles- Book 1 of Circles Trilogy. Scene Set -Back inside Westland Prep, Julie talks to Robert.
Robert leaned over a drinking fountain, sipped some water, rinsed his mouth then spit it back into the bowl. The water was tinted red. Julie stopped next to him and said, "You're bleeding.""Yea, he got in a good one. Guess no kissin' for a bit." He started to grin, but winced instead.Julie squeezed her books against her chest - academic protection. "You had no intentions of fighting, did you? You were going to talk your way out until his bullheaded friends joined in."
Blurb – One born into privilege and a charmed life surrounded by love and family. The other born to a life of violence on the streets as the solemn gang leader of the notorious Shoresmen. A young, idealistic co-ed, Julie, meets a jaded, cold gang member, Robert, and cracks his icy shell, allowing the warmth of her love to awaken his soul.

What people are saying about Dancing in Circles5 stars - Julie I liked, but Robert, loved that guy. He's thrown some insurmountable circumstances to overcome, but he manages a way around it all quite nicely. While he may be the 'bad boy', he still has a heart of gold. The author did a nice job expressing that while we may not all travel the same paths in life, we still are essentially the same people and deserve happiness alike.
5 Stars - I loved the cover, as well as the story. I liked the school setting, and the description in the beginning of Julie and her friends. Julie is the dreamer, searching for a happy ending. I also liked Robert, who is a "bad boy" gang leader. "from the wrong side of the tracks," etc. One of Julie's relatives says he has a heart of gold, and he does. He's smart and practical and I think he's great.
5 Stars - Author Victoria Adams does an excellent job at bringing characters to life. I really enjoyed living through Julie's dream of becoming a dancer and her connection with Robert. Yeah, Robert may have gotten himself in the wrong crowd, but he really does portray a compassionate person and in the end he really does grow on you. Can't wait to see the next one in the series!

How lovers talk from Circles Interlocked on My Sexy Saturday #MySexySaturday, #Saturday7, #MSS85
From book 3 of Circles Trilogy – Circles Interlocked
Scene set – Julie and Robert are in bed.
In the faint moonlight, Julie could see Robert's dark eyes had turned from exhaustion to lust.He wanted to finish what'd been interrupted in the barn. He lowered his face to her lips, savouring the sensations that electrified his body. His kiss was soft as it grazed her skin, just enough pressure to tease - to make her desire more. She trickled the tips of her fingers up his back. Her hand paused. Memories flooded her mind; laughing in class, kissing, eating supper together and being wrapped in each other's arms. How could she have driven him away? She had loved him. He'd loved her. She should've guessed what he'd done and not so many years hating him. She should've trusted him. Trusted those eyes, hands and lips. "I'm so sorry."He slid his body up hers. She could feel his hardness pressing against her belly. "You wanna talk?""I...I...feel...""You feel soft and feminine and decidedly sensuous. You feel and smell like the woman I love. She loves and forgives me for all of my faults and misdeeds and I had forgiven her long ago." He rolled over to his back and settled Julie on his stomach. "You sound like a woman whose head's lost in a whirlwind. Unable to focus on what's important."His hands roamed across her, leaving a trail of tingling sparkles in her flesh. "Forget about the past. Don't think about the future. I'm here and I want your attention. I want to make love to you."
Circles Interlocked - Having been betrayed by the man she assumed she was destined to be with forever; Julie Anderson slapped Robert Holiday in an angry ending to their brief love affair. Heartbroken that her love affair didn't end with the fairy tale Happily Ever After, Julie leaves town to pursue her dream of being a dancer. As fate has a curious sense of humor, eight years later, they wake up in bed together. Now it is up to love to fix what time cannot mend.

The hot kiss for this week is from Book 3 of Circles Trilogy – Circles Interlocked
Robert held Julie's ring. A small circle of gold with a simple inscription, "With Love." Willing is his hands and nerves to be steady, he placed it on Julie's finger. "With this ring, I thee wed."In a grand voice the Judge announced, "With great pride and joy, and the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife."Robert turned to Julie. Their gazes met.
