The Barbarian Sex God

Next week I'll be teaching Happy Hookers. What hooks? Did the title hook you to read on? :)
Well, maybe this guy is clueless about his wife's imagination, but she's imagining all kinds of interesting things. :) And it's probably not about him. :) Want to read her story further?
Or you can read mine. Substitute wolfish hunks for barbarian sex gods and you've got it!

The Accidental Highland Hero is out!

First, The Accidental Highland Hero is out!
Second, yesterday's winner is Mason! If you'll send me your addy and how you want me to autograph your book, I'll get it off in the mail.
Third, thanks to Donna for sending me a hunk in a kilt. Now, I have to say that my Highlanders don't wear black leather kilts, though the thought is intriguing. But I'm old fashioned and like the plaid. And they don't wear tattoos.
In fact, I had a discussion with my fellow co-workers yesterday about this very topic....

The Winner is...

I need a reminder!!! I was supposed to announce a winner on Sunday, I think. I was working so hard on Taming the Highland Wolf that I didn't even get the newsletter out. This weekend I have the whole weekend off, so I'll try to get that out.
So the winner of The Accidental Highland Hero is: Jan Romes.
Now it's time to give a free autographed copy of Winning the Highlander's Heart in honor of The Accidental Highland Hero's release tomorrow!!!
Tomorrow is the official release day for The...

Why Scotland?

A lot of my relatives were from Scotland! Famous relatives and a rogue to boot. This is on my mother's father's side.
The story went that we were related to the famous Dr. Lionel Playfair, who ministered to Queen Victoria. That was the story. And we were related to a Col. Playfair who was given land in Canada.
In truth, we were related to John Playfair, born Benvie, Scotland, in 1748, a minister in 1773, taking his father's place when he died and raising the rest of his family. He was a m...

Wolves in Scotland

Wolves were eliminated centuries earlier. Real wolves, that is. Werewolves are a different story. :)
Yep, they're there. Somewhere. In the woods, the castles, the pubs. Never know where you might find one!!!
I'd love to visit there. Where would you love to go on a vacation if money and time were no object?
Hope you all have a terrific Saturday! Off to work!!!

Back to Castles and Such!

I just learned The Accidental Highland Hero is available for sale, in stock at Amazon now! :)
I'll announce a winner on Sunday for the copy of the book, and I won a digital copy of a book which I will give to another lucky winner, and will announce this on Sunday also. :)
I'm plugging along at Taming that Highland Wolf---do you know how hard it is to tame a Highland wolf?
I also noticed that Wolf Fever is listed, kind of, on Amazon and you can have an email sent to you when the book is available...

Chance to Win!

My publisher is offering an unproofed copy of The Accidental Highland Hero to a lucky winner!! The book will be the same as the one that's released shortly, but the back cover has some minor changes.
So with a jump into spring and into tangling with kilted warriors, who says, "Aye! I want a chance to play?"
I'm reworking the opening of Taming the Highland Wolf (Book 7) right now. Love the opening. I always do this, by the way. Start out with tons of different openings until I settle on one I re...

Hmm, What Do You Think about This Kilted Lad?

Highlanders rule! Back to working on Taming the Highland Wolf, but just wanted to mention that Winning the Highlander's Heart (where Highlanders are still wolfish, but do NOT shapeshift) is taking part in the International Rights Books Fair!!!
Thanks so much to my publisher, Dawn Carrington of Vintage Romance Publishing, for choosing Winning the Highlander's Heart to participate in this venture.

Wolf Fever is Done!

Woohoo, I worked and worked and worked and worked...and it's done! Now I've got to get back to Taming the Highland Wolf that I'm a week behind on word count. But I'm really happy with the changes I made on Wolf Fever and hope you all will be too. :)
Sooo, today it's supposed to be warmer out. Cold in the morning. It was supposed to be that way yesterday, but I didn't leave my desk hardly at all while I continued to rewrite, revise, edit, research and write.
I'm so excited!!! And now as much as ...
