Girl in the Rain

Used several layers to create this moody fun look.

Well, good news at the doctors. He’s seeing me in his clinic from now on once a week, instead of getting infusions. And he said for Friday, at least, no infusion, just go to the Woodlands instead of Houston for a blood draw. Houston’s an hour away and the traffic is atrocious. The Woodlands is 20 minutes away and the traffic isn’t half as bad, so I’m looking forward to it.

But they’ve listed an infusion for next Friday in Houston again. I’m going to ask if they can do it in the Woodlands instead.

And that’s my good news. Oh, and Physical Therapy said I don’t have to see them any longer. That I’m in good physical shape. Yay! We walked a mile and a half yesterday and walked that this morning, though it was HOT and MUGGY out. It’s supposed to be 64 tomorrow morning. Hope, hope.

Have a wonderful day and hope you’re not sweltering in the heat. it was 104 wet bulb yesterday.

Centaur and Dragons

He looks nice and fierce.

I’m still working on Wolfish. But I started playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard. I loved Oblivion better where you could interact with more people, take different paths, be more interactive. With Dragon Age, it’s much more linear.

But I need to work on the story.

Griffins

Continuing with my fall mythological creatures. We don’t get much in the line of fall here, so I love to create pictures with fall colors.

Well, the doctor put me on two magnesium pills instead of one and said he’d decide in a week, which would be next Tuesday, if I should be off infusions since they’re for magnesium. Infusions last 2 hours, so I’m hoping I’ll have shorter appts without them. I’m eating better and little by little, getting more strength.

He said they might pull my picc line also since I haven’t needed blood since I left the hospital. There are up and downsides to that. I can get an infection from having it in. I have to wear a plastic sleeve to keep it dry during showers. I have to flush out the three lines every day and sometimes the lines aren’t working. Like yesterday. And no matter what dressing they use on it, my skin is so sensitive, it’s red and irritated from the dressings and often when they pull off the old one, I end up bleeding in spots.

But it’s great for giving blood. My veins are tiny and roll when they try to stick me so I’m not looking forward to doing that twice a week.

I have around 6,000 words to go on Wolfish! And did the beta edits on Tashama. I’ll be rereading it one more time and then publish it.

Dragon in Autumn

Doesn’t it look like an old-time picture? I created it with a woodland background, dragon, and three autumn overlays to give it that tone.

More good news! The DNA results came back and it shows that my blood cells are all the donor’s–100% myeloid and T-cells. Which means my wonky cells no longer exist and are producing cancerous cells. Woohoo!

I’m off to write. Have a super productive and fun day!
