Deer Would Not Make it in the Olympics!

At least these deer would not! Thanks to Donna for sending this! :)

I liked skiing, especially when in Telluride, Colorado and it wasn't ev en cold! I skied with glove liners and no jacket, just a wool sweater and ski pants. Loved it! Telluride was actually the place in Colorado that I modeled Silver Town in Destiny of the Wolf from, except it's smaller and more off the beaten track--better for a werewolf run town, don't you think? :)

Anyway, back to the comments on deer and the problem they're ...

Have You Been Watching the Olympics?

I feel sorry for the woman who was caught in this pose. If I were skating like she did, this would definitely be me!

I love the ice skating competitions. It's pure delight to see the moves the competitors make, how skillfully, gracefully, speedily, and beautifully they make it look, with barely any effort.

I've ice skated before, with my Girl Scout troop. They wanted to go ice skating, so I took them to Tulsa, never intending to get on the ice. I loved to roller skate, but I just didn't think I...

Why Wolves?

Today, I'm at Anna's Book Blog talking about wolves and why some Native American tribes revered them with a 2 book giveaway!

http://annavivian.blogspot.com/2010/02/guest-blog-giveaway-with-terry-spear.html

Isn't the wolf pictured cute? He's a gray wolf even if he's black. :) Just like many breeds of dogs where the coloration can be so different. Out of a whole wolf litter of grays, one can show up black. But he's just as cute as can be, don't you think?

Today, a lot of government offices are clo...

Happy Valentine's Wolf Lovers and Friends!

I'm late, but I've been busily trying to catch up on critiques, word count, and guest blogs. *sigh*

But I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's before the next big blogging week comes up next week.

I have to mention here that Valentine's Day was a pagan ritual of feasting to do with fertility during the time of the Romans, 3rd or 4th BC.

Now, according to some scholars, what you might not know was that the god that watched over the proceedings was Lupercus, which was derived from the Latin...

A Wolf Greeting! Really!

A great review from the SciFi Guy!

Thanks so much, Doug!

The author keeps her supernatural world focused on just werewolves, world-building that is nicely uncomplicated and all the more powerful for it. Grounded in real-world wolf behaviour and a touch of the magical, the werewolves here are captivating. Cameron and Faith's adventures lead them into the heart of this supernatural world with consequences that bond them and change their lives.

Containing dog-sled and snowmobile chases in the wilde...

Iced In!!!

If I were a wolf, this could have been me yesterday and early this morning! But I wouldn't have been housebound because wolves can maneuver just fine on ice!

We actually got snow, but worse, ice two hours before I left work. So last night my Internet was giving me fits as I was trying to comment on posts, and pre-post this and it kept crashing. Then I got up bright and early this morning to share the SciFi Guy's link and no Internet. I'm off today, and have to work tomorrow instead, but I was...

The Seductive Power of the Wolf

First, I hope Virginia doesn't mind, but she sent me this lovely wolf and roses picture for Valentine's and I wanted to share it here. It's beautiful and I just was dying to share! Thanks a million, Virginia! It truly made my week!

I apologize for posting more reviews as I'm sure everyone's tired of them, but I'm so excited!!! We never know if readers/reviewers will like our next release, or the next, or the next, no matter how much love and heart and hope we fill our stories with.

So, hoping...

Werewolves Who are Star-Crossed Lovers???

Woohoo, I loved this review from Lynda K Scott, Star-Crossed Lovers! :)

"The romance between Cameron and Faith is absolutely adorable. Cameron is sweet, gentlemanly but enough of a rogue to catch any woman's eye. But just because he's 'gentlemanly' doesn't mean he's passive. The passion between him and Faith sizzles off the page and would make us all head up to the wilds of Maine to find our own 'magical' wolf.

All in all, Ms Spear shows a fine talent for creating believable and fascinating cha...

Werewolf Romance

Is romance all that important???

An author friend arrived home from her first author conference and her family had big signs they held up in greeting, showing off that she was an author. It was a really special way to show their love.

A co-worker's husband called and said he wanted to go to a Mexican restaurant that night. He never eats Mexican. So she wondered what was up. He was taking her to see a special show they were sponsoring of one of her favorite singers: Elvis Presley.

Another called ...

Loving, Wolf Style

I'm at Night Owl Romance talking about brain fog today! Hey, I broke free of it, though!!! And after I sent off the post, I was able to write 4 more guest blogs that day! :)

Wolves in love? Or something else going on here???

I did get my word count yesterday, and finished a guest interview for the SciFi guy, --great fun questions--and of course I wrote a book in response, and have one guest blog left for this week. *sigh*

It's raining here. Thought it would be colder than it is this morning, sin...
