What's Really Cool About Vampires...Just Like with Werewolves...

It's not just about the vampire or werewolf that's important...it's about the relationship between men and women.

Okay...so this is a strange picture. The guy on the left is a werewolf. You can tell because he's got a five o'clock shadow. The other guy that's frowning is the vampire. Now they do not share the same girl. Just not done.

You see the way she has her hand on the vampire's face. She's trying to push him away in a gentle, loving manner. She definitely doesn't want to make a vampire ma...

Wild Hobbies!

These little guys are string mohair teddy bears. :)

Terry Odell was nice enough to let me blog about wild hobbies on her site, so if you have a moment and would like to comment, that would be super!

I'm like the Mad Hatter...I'm late, I'm late, I'm late. Only not to tea. Instead, it's another wild day at work. We'll be shorthanded all week, and sooo...it's another madhouse day. :)

Hope you all are having a great start t...

Destiny of the Wolf's Cover is up for Best Cover!

Mason informed me that Destiny of the Wolf was up for Best Cover, and I didn't realize it! Okay, so begging for more votes, if you haven't already and are so inclined, the wolf hunk and I would love your vote!

"My" wolves are howling the news. Looks like they rolled in the snow and their fur is all wet! :) I love this picture, showing how all three are howling in a different direction, just trying to get the word out!

New Year Promise To Be Good!

Kind of! :)

First off, I want to wish everyone a very special and happy filled New Year! I'm late...but I did stay up until midnight, playing Dragon Age...my son gave it to me, but they liked it so much, he and his girlfriend bought another copy and have been playing it...so it looks like a race to the finish. I'm behind of course, since I'm also working and writing a book, and ahem, blogging.

We had a delightful New Years eve and plan to see Sherlock Holmes and have beef stragonoff today.

But I...

What's Cool, What's Not--When It Comes to Vampires

Drooling is out for vampires...no blood dripping down cheeks! It's totally not cool.

Bright red lips, ice white teeth, beautiful fangs, and a cherry wedged between the teeth--totally cool. :)

Vampires have nice smooth faces because they're more...cultured. But vampires with beards remind me of werewolves, not vampires. Totally cool for werewolves, uncool for vampires.

Black shadows around eyes to denote scariness or something--totally uncool. I have dark shadows when I don't get enough sleep. It...

Vampire Myths

You've probably all read where vampires can't see themselves in a mirror. This is a myth. Not at all true. Vampires need to look their best like anyone else. Mirrors are not a problem.

You've most likely also read where vampires can't cross water. Hmm, nope. If they want to take an ocean cruise, no problem. How do any of them get from one continent to another? Just like most of our ancestors came from other places, so did theirs. So nope, just a myth. Vampires can cross large bodies of water....

Not a Vampire...but a Sexy Highlander Instead!

I know I was supposed to talk about vampires, and I will, I promise, but when the cover art comes in for a new book, and it looks this gorgeous, I just had to share. So what do you think? Can he slay YOUR dragons???

Well, there aren't any in the story, it's strictly a Highlander historical romance...the sequel to Winning the Highlander's Heart and coming in March, as long as the release date doesn't change. :)

Lady Ellis Dunbarton didn't think life could get any worse, until her loving cousin...

A Christmas Present for You!

I'm off to work, but I wanted to share a Christmas present with you before I run! (Donna shared this with me earlier. Thanks, Donna!)
Hope your Christmas was great! We had a disastrous time with our dinner, but even so, the food turned out great in the end, and I couldn't have been happier with the way the day went with a leisurely late gift opening, late dinner (not planned) and lots and lots of dark chocolate goodies, that, as I told everyone, is supposed to be good for us. Must be, because ...
