Marketing the Three Wolves Howling at the Moon T-shirt Way

If you listen to the news at all, you probably had heard of the amazing stats on the Three Wolves Howling at the Moon t-shirt offered at Amazon, and how reviewers claimed incredulous stuff had happened to them. My co-workers brought it up to me at work. "Did you get one? Because you write about wolves?" My daughter and son asked me, "Did you see about the t-shirts?" Yep. And ...

Dreaming of a White Christmas---and Santa Like This!

I love the background. Really, I did notice the background. But it does make me feel cold for him. Could be because I'm sitting in a freezing cold house too lazy (and cheap) to put on the heat and so I feel I'm in that snowy scene dressed the way he is.
Do you think we need to warm the poor guy up? I think I see chill bumps on his arms. Don't you???:)

Hope you all have a super Hump Day!
:) Terry

Watch What You Say!

A NY Times Best Selling author was talking about what you should say on your blog and what you shouldn't. One of the things she mentioned was not tooting your own horn. This was on a marketing blog as a guest author. Okay, sounds good. So I flip over and check out her own blog. Lots and lots of horn tooting going on there--where she'll be for book signings, and new releases, and yep, not a whole ...

Sweaty Santa

In the writing business, I'd call this a contrived Santa...I mean, he just drops his pants and then stands there with them hanging above his knees? What? Nobody noticed his pants?
Note also, his cheap costume...running pants? A plastic belt? Plastic hat? And what's with the shiny body? Okay, so that's sweat, worked up from delivering all those goodies...
I have to admit that the only part of the costume I liked was his bikini. Just perfect fit. :) Ahem.
And the body was just right, too. So what ...

Sales Were Jumping!

For the last two days, I've had tons of Google alerts for my books and I average over a 100 looks at my website a day. But sales for all titles jumped across the board yesterday. What caused it? Holiday gift giving? Maybe. Even during the holidays when we're so busy with baking and parties, gift buying and decorating, we can't forget our fans.I still am sharing free stories with fans through my ...

Fun Santa!

This Santa looks like he loves to have some fun. Light a few fireworks? Hmm-hmm!
I never think of sparklers or fireworks in conjunction with Santas, but with these Santas, guess I'll have to change my thoughts on the matter!
So what do you think of fun Santa? Could he possibly light up your life too?
Have a super Monday!!!

Off into the Unknown

When I'm writing, I usually have minimal knowledge of the story I'll write. With my current wip, Wolf Fever, Book 6, the characters were already in Destiny of the Wolf, Book 2, so I have some constraints. In most of my stories, I don't.In part, it's fun having the constraints, already knowing something about your characters from an earlier work, then adding more depth to their personalities.  I ...

Sexy Help for the Tree???

Making up stories is half the fun of writing them! And I'm not ashamed to say I write sexy werewolf sagas and love to dig up pictures of sexy werewolf men--yes, he truly is a wolf in disguise, how else do you think he got tangled up in the Christmas lights while he was helping me set up the Christmas tree?So here is the story: You know humans can howl like wolves, or at least to their own ears, ...

Take a Moment to Enjoy!

I spent 5 hours painting a bedroom and repairing the ceiling, stopping only to put the turkey on for Thanksgiving, then went back to it after my daughter and her boyfriend left. Yesterday, I moved furniture, and they returned to help me move more, and we set up the Christmas tree and had more turkey.   I'm exhausted and have to work all day, then celebrate my daughter's birthday ...
