Inspiration--the Hunky Male Kind

I was writing a scene about the sun and what happened next in Heart of the Highland Wolf, based on one account a visitor told me when she visited Scotland, and then corroborated by another, and also from my own experience with UK sun worshipers away from their native soil, and so, the scene came about.

Donna was so nice to send me a wolf gallery last night after I went to bed and so I wanted to share the first one with everyone. Now, the wolf with his pack are not on a beach like this, picture...

The Story is Off!

I've sent off the next installment of Killing the Bloodlust, and the first 2 lessons for the Plotting/Goals workshop, and have been making some changes to terms in Heart of the Highland Wolf, and now it's time to focus on the story for the rest of the day!!!

Somehow my copy of the newsletter didn't make it--was malformed or some such thing, so those who I have to forward it to, won't be getting a copy until I can get one to send. :(

Hmmm, I think I got it and sent it off all right!

Okay, here's ...

Warning Flamingo Shape Shifters About!

I've heard of lots of different kinds of shapeshifters, but this ones a new one on me! :)

Flamingos, that is.

Speaking of which (shapeshifters, not flamingos) I'm off to work on the Highland wolf story, but I'm blogging today at Casablanca about Motherhood and Beginnings and Mayday, which it is today!!!

Back to work. Today is NOT a day off, unfortunately. :)

Have a super Saturday, and watch out for those ever shifting flamingos! LOL

Ever Want to Stick Your Tongue out at Someone?

Well, if you were a werewolf and shapeshifted, here's what it would look like.

The other wolf is so surprised, it twists around in and looks at the projecting tongue, not sure to what to think of it.

Yep, even as adults, we stick out our tongue. Mostly in playfulness. At least I hope!

The other wolf isn't pay any attention. It's just between these two wolves. Which is as it should be. Just because one wolf behaves a certain way toward another, there's no reason that all of them in the pack have ...

Here's a Sneak Preview of Leidolf!

Woohoo, it's done!!! I just sent of Seduced by the Wolf for the last time. *sigh* I hope you love the story as much as I loved writing it. :)

And here's a sneak peek at the book coming out in August!

Seduced by the Wolf:

[Leidolf:] ground his teeth and let out his breath. "Cassie,
if you're awake, I want you to know that we have a lot
of eligible bachelors in the pack. Carver is one, and his
daughters are lovely girls and could use a mother." His
hand stilled on Cassie's back.

He was giving her up, ju...

You Need a Man Today

Is he wolfish, do you think? He's got cute flyaway hair, a hint of stubble, greenish eyes, could be a wolf. Yeah, he's a wolf.

I just received Final, Final edits on Seduced by the Wolf, so I'm rereading it one last time to hopefully catch any mistakes. Yes, I'm supposed to be finishing up Heart of the Highland Wolf, but...

I really do love reading a finished manuscript that's nearly ready for release. It reminds me I can do this! :)

Next, Wolf Fever will be winging back to me for final edits. Bu...

Ack, Edited the Wrong Saved Manuscript!

Okay, I need to start the day over already!!!

I think I'll slip into this picture and let it take me where it will...hmm-hm...

So what exactly happened? Not sure. I've done it before. Saved my current work-in progress on both my hard drive, external hard drive, and flash drive, to try and ensure I don't lose it. So the last place where it was saved was my flash drive. But when I opened it up to edit some more this morning--it had lost 4,000 words. Huh?

Thinking maybe I'd cut some more of the mss...

Heart of the Highland Wolf!

So what do you think of the title: Heart of the Highland Wolf to replace Taming the Highland Wolf?
I love it!

Okay, I wasn't really AWOL on purpose yesterday!

Storms hit us yesterday evening and I was one of the ones without electricity for nearly 18 hours.

This is a picture at Cameron Park in our city.

Of course my cell phone had lost power, my laptop after I used it for an hour and a half, I couldn't get my car out of the garage (yes, it has a manual override, but even a burly guy couldn't get i...
