Have I Shared Him???

I wasn't sure if I shared him with you yet--this poor wolf has lost his woods. He needs a wipe down, any takers???

Did I mention I might have some good news next week?

Almost every day we're going to be SOOO short on staff, and SOOO busy, that I'll definitely need any good news I might get!

The current good news is I've made it through the halfway point on Dreaming. And am on the downhill slide!!! And despite weeding and mowing, I'm ahead on word count again! I keep revising my goal...and week ...

If Only....

If only my yard looked like this, I wouldn't have had to spend the last hour and a half mowing. I need to weedeat it, but I'll try to get to that next year. :)

Now that's what I call a goal. And probably doable. Goals should always be doable. :)

It's actually windy and cool out with lots of cloud cover---but what I need are huge trees like this, and lots of understory trees and NO GRASS and weeds. :)

I planted 7 live oaks two falls ago, but, alas, they're still scrawny and provide a stick's leng...

Well, I drove through heavy rain to get to work yesterday, and are due in again this morning--3-5" of rain yesterday, flooding, but thankfully it was quieter when I left work. :)

It was wonderful to have the rain and cooler weather! But it still will be 91 today.

Did You Know?

To Tempt the Wolf is supposed to be in stock at the warehouse today. So the books should begin shipping out to fulfill orders soon! :)

And Destiny of the Wolf will be at the warehouse today also!!!

And...water will help you lose 26 pounds annually! You only have to drink 8 cups of water a day!

And today--it's Zoo Day!!! Nope, not like in wolves and lions and tigers oh my! But kid madness. Yep--kids' programs all day today, every Wednesday. *sigh*

It was unbelievable yesterday, but besides work, I couldn't get on blogger. Just kept getting error messages. Couldn't comment, couldn't blog, couldn't join a group.

So I'm back!!!

I wanted to be this wolf in the quiet wild yesterday and the rest of the week. :)

But, I've got another madhouse of a day to fend off....

When Conversation Can Get You in Trouble!

One of my coworkers asked me how to spell a word for her. I get it all the time because I write, and normally, I'm a really good speller. I learned how to spell out things phonetically in school.

My mother said she didn't learn it that way and ended up writing some things with American spellings, some things with Canadian, and some--her very own special way. :)

She was Presbyterian, like so many Scots families are, but since she couldn't spell it, she said she was Methodist. Her father's side o...

Well, I had planned on getting WAY ahead on Dreaming of the Wolf, but I just received Wolf Fever edits, so need to work on those also this weekend.

But I wanted to share another one of my very favorite wolfish characters!!!

Well, thank the heavens it's Friday!!!!! Who would have ever thought a 4 day work week could be this hard. Unfortunately, the workload will only get worse next week. So I've got to fortify myself this weekend.

Bug Battle Not Over, But...

Well, not sure who won the battle...the bugs or me...but Antonio is still game.

I have to share a story too.... It's so important to keep our readers reading our books, and so we try really hard to do that. But when Judi Fennell, writer of sexy merman, blogged about getting sunburned, who knew it wasn't over mermen, but one of my wolfs!!!

So here's the story...she did not wear sunscreen as she went out for an "hour". Three hours later...

So I'm thinking a warning label should be put on the boo...
