Have You Ever Thought...

...you had reached the end of something? That you were completely done with a project? Ready to receive guests? Get on the road? Ready for work, or school, or something? And then found out you had to do one more thing? Or lots more things before you were REALLY done?

I thought I had finished Dreaming of the Wolf. Really I did. I wrote THE END, the acknowledgements, the dedication, the author bio. All the stuff that means I finished the book! Not that I won't be reading it over a couple of more...

Book Giveaway Time!

The wolves are howling the news!
I'm at Amber's Blog today and on 7-17 will give away one free book to a lucky commenter. Winner's choice. I'm talking about Why I Write Fantasy. I totally forgot I was doing this, so glad I had sent it in WAY early!! She just posted it tonight...I'm back to my regularly scheduled work on Dreaming of the Wolf as soon as I get this posted.
I was supposed to be up on the SciFiGuy's spot on 7-23, but he's been unable to blog for a while, so not sure if I'll be up ...

I Really Need to Finish Dreaming, and I'm Working On It, but...

Okay, he could be the Highlander, Duncan MacNeill, out frolicking with the botanist, Shelley Campbell, when he's SUPPOSED to be looking for the man who stole his clan's money. Men. They can be so easily distracted. :) And believe me, he is not the kind of man who IS so easily distracted.

Of course, he's distracted me from MY mission. I'm off to work on uploading the next part of Killing the Bloodlust and back to working on Dreaming of the Wolf. I worked on it all afternoon and evening and only...

Is He a Good Guy or Bad Guy???

To make well rounded characters, even bad guys should have some goodness, to make they real, don't you think? And if they're the good guys, they need flaws that make them real. Sooo, what do you think? Good guy or bad guy?

My beautiful book marks for the conference came in. It has Wolf Fever on one side in a lovely artistic portrait sort of way. Very lovely. Thanks to Sourcebooks art department for their lovely book covers and book mark designs. :)And on the other side, the latest 4 titles. :)...

Orange is...

time for Autumn and the renewal of wolves' winter coats. It's time for cooler weather, and warmer colors. For fires, and oranges and orange-flavored green tea.

It's time for Halloween and redheads and things that go bump in the night.

It's October and November and sugar-drained leaves.

It's time for wolves like this in hunting mode in fall.

I love the oranges of fall, although it's not really my color. What do you think of when you think orange?

I Found Him!!!

Well, that was the good news! But my computer crashed again. *sigh*

I'm beginning to get the wedding jitters. And conference jitters too. I have no idea what to wear to any of it. I feel like I need to take off a day or two beforehand just to get ready.

I'm still trying to get the essential blog posts done before I leave and today is going to be the magic show day all day, which is going to be crazy. Yesterday was crazy enough!

Okay, off to another madhouse day, and then I've GOT to get some w...

First, I've Lost a Hunk...

I have no idea where he went to. He was there, and then he was gone. *sigh* No other will do when I have my mind set on one of them!!! :)

So here is a fun review from Harriet Klausner!

I loved it! Thanks so much to Ms. Klausner for her take on Seduced by the Wolf!

I'm off to a VERY hectic day after a 3-day weekend of which I worked 3 days. Hmm...although a full day on only one of them. But still, it really does break up the weekend.

And hope you all have had a delightful 4th of July weekend. I'...

Weird News and Good News and Great News!!

First, I'm still saving files. Yes, I have a ton of stories, short, long, unpublished, published, photos, etc, that I need to save. So I'm working diligently on that. Plus, I'm really, really working on revisions on Killing the Bloodlust

to post the newsletter today. And, I have to run in and empty the book drop again at the library later.

The weird news is someone dumped tons of filthy Bibles at the library in moldy old boxes, so I had to take care of that before I could even empty the book dro...

Red, White and Blue!

I'm late, I'm late! I've been up forever, but the Internet has been down some. Not sure why unless storms somewhere else are causing the trouble. But I'm also trying to copy everything off my hard drive to a flash drive before my computer crashes again, and writing guest blogs for the August blog tour! And finish writing Dreaming of the Wolf, and weed, and work this afternoon... don't believe I've got enough hours for all of it in the next 2 days. Do you??? LOL

So in the meantime, here's some ...
