Werewolves in Austria!

I thought this was a pretty neat picture, but can you tell she's a werewolf? A human better not try this or there goes some fingers. :) Now, I haven't written about werewolves in Austria. Maybe a start? :)

They're beautiful wolves. But here's how I came across them. I was looking for information on wolf saliva. Yep. :) And that's how I came by the picture of werewolves.

I'm off to work, research, write some more! Have a super Tuesday!!!

In the Beginning...It was a Dark and Stormy Night...

I'm in between books, finished 3 more guest blogs, have 7 left to do before August, and started two new wolf tales.

I used to write several books at once. But with stringent deadlines, I usually concentrate on a book at a time, and then work on the extra blogs. But I keep thinking about the two new wolf books and how I want to open them. So that I get it out of my system, I started both The Highland Wolf in Paradise and The Wolf and the SEAL. Will those beginnings be the same ones I use in the...

Mermen Author Captures Wolves on Camera!

Judi Fennel (the rest of her post is at her link) went to Bear Country in South Dakota (link below) where they have enclosures you drive through (very slowly). This was the arctic wolf enclosure. The wolves were frolicking alongside our car then meandered across the road through the cars.

I have to THANK Judi, for being on vacation, to get away from deadlines and writing and just be with her family and what does she do??? Thinks of ME! Thank you, Judi, writer of mermen and genies extraordinai...

Jake is not at all happy....

He's had so much trouble over Alicia....so he's just not happy. Not that she's all at fault. She really, really wanted to keep him from harm. She's just in so much trouble, what's a poor guy to do? But...things will get better, I promised him. :)

Thanks so much to Stephanie for sending this hunk to me! :)

Hope you all have a super Monday. I'm back to Dreaming of the Wolf....

Seduced by the Wolf is In Stock!

This is Spartacus. Cleaned up, he wouldn't be too bad, would he?

The newsletter is off! And I'll have to take a two weekend-break because of my son's wedding and the conference. Unfortunately, I can't prepost the newsletter and since I'm working all week before the trip and trying to get a million things done before that, I just won't have the time. But if I do, I'll try to post one before I leave.

Anybody watching Castle? My coworkers and daughter kept after me to watch it so for my birthday, ...

Sinking, sinking....sunk...No, not yet!!!

This was me yesterday. A moon sunk halfway in the water. No way to get out of it and no way to do what I needed to really do. And by the time my nailed tire was replaced, it was too late to do the things I HAD to do. *sigh* Now I'll have to do them on my lunch hour next week and I hate running errands on my lunch hour. Why? Because I like to have lunch on my lunch hour, take a break, and catch up on emails. *double sigh*

So I am the sunk-in-the-water moon. And I'm not packed for my son's weddi...

The Imagination is...

...a wondrous thing, don't you think?

When I was sent a notice I had jury duty, I fretted about it. Not because I didn't want to do my civil duty. But because we are so short handed at work! Impossibly so. We've been working with only 2 of us for several hours a day and well, no way could one person handle it.

But then, voila, a miracle occurred.

Here is what happened. I went down to the courthouse, mentioned the law courses I'd taken in college, how much I'd love to be in charge, and was ready...

Have You Ever Misplaced Something and...

...it's really, really important, or at least it seems that way, and you can't find it???

What do you do?

First, I can't find my current car insurance card yesterday morning, so I could send in my car registration. Finally find it filed away in the insurance file, of all things. Then I put the bill in the envelope and all that shows in MY address, not the one I need to send it to. Hmm. Then after I fold it up so that THEIR address shows in the window, and it's all sealed up, I find THEIR envelo...

Have You Ever Thought...

...you had reached the end of something? That you were completely done with a project? Ready to receive guests? Get on the road? Ready for work, or school, or something? And then found out you had to do one more thing? Or lots more things before you were REALLY done?

I thought I had finished Dreaming of the Wolf. Really I did. I wrote THE END, the acknowledgements, the dedication, the author bio. All the stuff that means I finished the book! Not that I won't be reading it over a couple of more...
