I'm Off!!!

Do you see I'm fighting to take control of the wheel here? He was a really strong dude. And, well, I wasn't putting my back into it as much as I should have been. :) In fact, I look downright intimidated!

Running down to the lobby to check out in just a minute and so wanted to part with one picture before I leave. My son is flying into Pensacola from Hawaii today. I'm flying back home in a couple of hours, and my daughter is flying to Washington DC today. Talk about a mixed up flying sky high...

Near Disaster!

Here I am in the dinosaur restaurant. It was a lot of fun, meteor showers and all.

My daughter was supposed to leave at 4:10 this morning...I mean be down in the lobby meeting the transportation at 4:10. And at 4:03, asked her what time she planned to get up. I thought she had to leave at 4:30. The alarm didn't go off, and her watch alarm must not have woken her. I was awake at 2:30, worrying about her. *sigh*

so I've been up since 4:00 uploading pictures and hoping she made it okay. I'm sure ...

Indiana Jones, Anyone?

Harrison Ford is still one of my favorite actors and here he is playing the part of Indiana Jones.

We really enjoyed seeing a car chase scene, and Jenn used my camera to video tape it.

Here's the signing. I found my way! It's really easy to lose your way around here!

You can't tell from this picture, I was wearing a wolf t-shirt! :) I should have had Donna's wolf howling music!

Off to one last day at the theme parks, and then it's the dinner with From the Heart! :) I have to find the location, a...

The Wayward Traveler!!!

l

We made it! And we were running from 8 in the morning to 1 in the morning last night. And had a blast.

The last ride of the night ended at midnight and I'm afraid of heights, although, if I were one of my heroines, I'd suck it up and do it anyway. Earlier in the day, it had been a 110 minute wait. At 11:00 pm, it was a 50 minute wait, 10 minute ride and the park closed at midnight. So we were cutting it close. We soared in a hang glider over California. It was great as we rode 40 feet in the ...

Inspiration...

Enough of wedding stuff...it's time to move on. And while I'm traveling, I thought I'd share what I found on my travels. Now, I know most of you have a hankering for Gerard Butler...so, here's a nice contemplative shot of him.

Have a delightful day. And if it's not perfect, then take a look at him to inspire you!

Here is Malinie's mother, Lisa, and my son and daughter. ...

Here is Malinie's mother, Lisa, and my son and daughter. I had to upload a program to edit it because it had too much background clutter.

And here's Malinie's cat. She's adorable and my best buddy. Cats and dogs (hmm, and wolves) gravitate to me. :) But here, she's lying on my daughter's hand and keyboard to get attention. :)

Here she was on my lap and decided for a more direct approach, forget the hands and keyboard as I was typing. She decided she wanted ALL my attention.

I'm off to upload my...

The Wedding!

Malinie and Blaine dancing at their wedding!

Here is a picture of my son and daughter-in-law cutting their cake. It was beautiful and they were too as they used a sword to cut it. :)

Because of the heat and humidity and wind, my hair was a disaster, but here is a picture of my son and me dancing to the groom and mother dance. It was beautiful, and I'm so proud of him in his AF dress mess uniform here. My dad would have been so proud of him if he'd lived to see this day.

Here is my daughter and s...

Did I Tell You I Don't Like to Fly?

Well, the flight was uneventful until we reached Pensacola and I thought something was wrong when we were there, but didn't land. It was 3:15...then 3:40...and we kept flying over water, over land, over water again, circling and circling until we were so low on fuel we had to divert to Mobile, AL. First, they said if you need to get off, take your baggage, and then about twenty minutes later, they said everyone had to get off. Over half of our passengers abandoned ship. Literally.

My poor so...

Wolves in Flight

I read once where dogs could ride free on a plane, with a paid passenger, of course. And of course I think of wolves in place of dogs. Hey, there were snakes (baby pythons) on one plane (and I'm not talking about that movie), but one where the snakes actually got loose in the cargo hold, and they never did find them. They were from Down Under, and started with 12, and when they landed, ended up with 8. Now, where'd the other 4 go? They were on a Quantas flight. So if you plan on taking one of...
