I was supposed to be up at Fumbling for Fiction yesterday, but the post isn't up yet. I'll be at Books 4 Moms tomorrow. Working on another interview and another blog post and a Top Secret assignment and anything else I can get into mischief over!!!

I have to leave really early this morning, and my main computer is not working, nor is my AC so I'm hoping I'll have at least one of them working by Friday, though the AC man never called back to confir...

B&N in Orlando!

This is Diane, my friend from junior high school and Merritt Island High School in Merritt Island, Florida, where we lived on canals and across the street from my house was a nice jungle swamp, and behind were sand dunes 40 feet tall. It was the best place to grow up and let my imagination run free--from conquering the sand dunes in a desert world to exploring the jungles looking for pirate's treasure.

Diane and I were best friends, and she was the one that we made up ghost stories on a Hallo...

A Borrowed Hunk

I couldn't help myself. When I was adding Sia's review of Legend of the White Wolf on a couple of sites, I was taken by her hunk. And it seemed fair if I took him back. :)



But I'm only borrowing him, I promise. I'd borrow her brother too, who is the personification of hunky Highlanders, but she likes my books and I might get into trouble over that. So I will just visit him from time to time on her site.

Almost a Best Seller!

This is the closest I've ever gotten to having a best seller, which is ranking at 100 or less! Maybe I made it when I was not looking, it fluctuates so quickly. But it came down to 278 this morning for the ebook format at B&N, so I'm excited!

I've heard other authors begging their readers not to buy until it hits the stores because a huge surge in sales will help them to reach best selling status. It would be nice, but I'm happy to even get this low! :)

An Orphaned Wolf Pup

This wolf was a 3-day old orphan when the family rescued him, and here he is full grown, playing with the family dog. :) Aren't they adorable? My praise goes to Tanja Askani for her lovely photos and sharing of such tender moments between animals that normally don't "go together!"
