What that means is that Sourcebooks is going to work on the COVER for Dreaming of the Wolf!!!!

Storms Hitting Texas Coast

I was going to water last night, but then checked the weather forecast...and thought no to that! Because the storms are hitting the coast and we're in for lots of wet weather. 70% chance of rain.

I'm posting this the night before because if we get the storms, my Internet will be out and I won't be able to post. So it's HOT and SUNNY out while I'm posting this, but the high is only supposed to be about 80 on Tuesday!!! Woohoo!

Note his non-fluffy coat? He looks a little mottled. He's lost it with the advent of warmer weather. And note he's panting? I feel like him in the heat down here, although I'm sure he's never felt heat quite like this in his neck of the icy tundra.

I have good reason!!! I made it to 22,000 last night--and the story is unfolding in leaps and bounds. I was so stuck at the beginning and now it won't quit. I LOVE it...

In the Name of Research

I was looking for male tank tops, because I figured that would be sexier than just plain t-shirts on a guy, to show off his muscles, you know. And so I was looking for pictures to give me ideas. This looked like it could be Finn, or another who popped into the story, without warning.

It's important to do research when writing the story--whether it's about wolves, or settings or...muscles. :)

When I woke at 5:30, I thought of driving into town to pick up stuff to put on doors and around pipes to keep the lizards and bugs from invading. I wanted to work on Wolf Fever--100 pages of 400 left to go. I wanted to work again on The Wolf and the SEAL. I want to begin cleaning out stuff I don't need. I do this periodically, but I need to make more of a dent. I wanted to post the four blogs ...

Wolves Howling Turned into Music

Thanks to Teryl for sharing this with us. I loved the pictures of the wolves. One looks like he's getting a little frisky!




It's been such a rough week, my coworker reminded me that we have Monday off. I totally forgot that! LOL Anyway, I'm working Friday, having that strange thing in the surgery area looked at by the dentist after work, and I will be working on Wolf Fever final edits all weekend. Plus The Wolf and the SEAL also! :) I'll try to send off Killing the Bloodlust early also. :)

Wolf-Dog Howls to Baby

Okay, Donna sent this to me last night and I had to chuckle. Here is a wolf-dog who is quieting a crying baby. The baby is really going to town until the wolf-dog howls him into submission. :) I love it! Thanks, Donna!

No Time to Blog!

A long time ago, I found The Blond Muddy Guy: TBMG and posted him on Wickedly Romantic. Well, the ladies loved him so much, he became our mascot. Cheryl claimed him because he reminds her of her cats....she's right. He doesn't have a wolfish look about him.




But Donna found some more pictures of him and I've had a devil of a time posting...so here is one more. Now, all I've got to say is a man should never have more beautiful hair than a woman, me. It's seriously not right!!
