One Good Thing

My mom came back from Florida today with a bottle of Cabernet savignon for me. She was on vacay with my aunts. I'm one of these people who is notoriously difficult for people to shop for. One Good Thing

For the past few days it has been oppressively hot. Just unbearable. I am not a fan of humidity. I'm not really a big summer guy. I prefer autumn. Fall weather is much more in tune with my way of thinking. I'm a reflective guy. Today, thankfully, the humidity of this cruel, cruel summer has taken a break. I don't know how long it will last, but I appreciate it. I'm guessing the storms we've been getting every night this past week had something to do with this.

I woke up this morning to an email message and a blog post from friend and fellow writer Charlie David telling me how much he enjoyed THE REST IS ILLUSION.
