PICK YOUR MOUNTAIN

Now it shall be when the Lord your God has brought you into the land which you go to possess, that you shall put the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal. Deuteronomy 11:29 NKJV

There are 29 mountains in the Bible.  God, in His love and mercy, gave Moses instructions to give the Israelites when they were coming to possess the Promised Land.  He gave them the ways that would lead to blessings; He warned them to keep to His ways so they would not be cursed.  He clearly set them apart on different mountains. Then told Moses to let the people choose.

Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known. Deuteronomy 11:26-28 NKJV

Mountains are associated with hearing God speak and the voice of the Lord and going to the mountain has to do with worship and hearing the voice of the Lord. 

The entire Psalm 29 is about the voice of the Lord:

The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders;
The Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful;
The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.  Psalm 29:3-4 NKJV

Declaration: I have the Spirit of the Lord in me, Who guides me into all Truth. I hear His voice and choose His ways so my life is blessed.

THE GREAT INVENTOR

God is the inventor of times and seasons, and He created all that on the 4th day.  He stamped the number four on the day of His creation, which is when God created the material universe.  On the 4th day, God created the sun and the moon, and the stars.  So, He created time and space and matter on the 4th day.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 NKJV

Out of 31,171 verses in the King James Bible, the very first one says in the beginning, Bereshit (Hebrew).  There it is in the beginning.  God created the heavens and the earth.  In the beginning -Time; God created the heavens -Space; and the earth – Matter.  Time, space, and matter were listed in the Word of God by a hillbilly named Moses, who didn’t even wear shoes.  He had a father-in-law by the name of Jethro.  Jethro herded goats: if that’s not the definition of hillbilly, I’m telling you nobody knows.  That is the definition of hillbilly, and he came down with an understanding of the principle of time, space, and matter thousands of years before Einstein ever described it through his Theory of Relativity and Special Relativity.  Hallelujah!

He created you and placed you on Earth at the exact time, in the exact place, to be exactly who He created you to be.  He designed you and knew you would be here today.  He holds this day in His hands.  Find the plan He has for you today and live every moment of it fully as He meant you to be.

Declaration: I will trust the Word of God.  I know that God Almighty is the inventory of times and seasons, and I will walk boldly throughout my life knowing that God has everything under His control.

27 – Things Unveiled and Revealed in God’s Presence and Light of Truth

HE SEES YOU

This You have seen, O Lord; Do not keep silence.  O Lord do not be far from me.  Psalm 35:22 NKJV

Father God, cleanse me of my unbelief, doubt, and unwillingness to believe Your love.  You didn’t just send Your beloved Son to die for my sins but to put me in the right relationship with You.  Your plan was always to adopt me as a son or daughter—to be joint heirs with Jesus.  I lay down everything that has kept me from believing and receiving Your unconditional love.

I lay down my need to compare myself to others and cast down any unhealthy competition my mind has stirred up.  I forgive those who have truly rejected or hurt me, and I ask forgiveness for grieving Your heart and the hearts of those who truly love me despite my rejection.  Father, I want a deep revelation of Your love.  Pour it into me.  Lord, I trust you.  I seek Your plan and Your provision for my life.  You are faithful and true and I will never doubt You again.

I fully surrender control of my life and break out of the cage of self-reliance.  I surrender my self-preservation, my need to protect my heart at all cost and my performance.  Take my fear and my insecurity.  Replace them with the Spirit of Adoption.  Adoption is Your idea, and I will gladly extend this spirit to the widows, orphans and homeless in my life.  I accept my adoption into Your family and Your Kingdom.  I embrace the Spirit of Sonship which says I belong to You and You belong to me.  Amen.

Declaration: Even when I cannot hear Your voice or feel Your presence, You are here.  I will not trust my feelings but have faith in Your Word (Jeremiah 17:9).

LET ME HEAR!

You who dwell in the gardens, The companions listen for your voice—Let me hear it!  Song of Solomon 8:13 NKJV

The Song of Solomon is an amazing Book in the Bible.  It captures the essence of two people who are desperately in love.  Did you know that we should have that essence within us for King Jesus?

We should always be listening for His voice upon the waters, winds, earth, and air.  The breath of God is within us and around us always.  We must prepare ourselves for our Bridegroom’s return for us.

It is a time when we need an outward focus. I am urging believers to be vigilant and watchful amidst the distractions of daily life. The Word of God warns us of the enemy’s schemes and the danger of missing divine opportunities due to spiritual complacency. It is time to guard our hearts diligently, recognizing that the springs of life flow from it.  It is time to lift our heads from earthly concerns and fix our gaze on King Jesus and His Kingdom’s agenda. This is a call for believers to heighten their spiritual awareness and divine empowerment and to stand in warrior-like readiness to confront the enemy’s tactics and advance for God’s purposes.

Staying connected with your relationship with King Jesus will help you always listen for His voice and His return.  When you are in the Word of God, you are connected; when you are worshiping, you are connected; everything you do should always be connected to King Jesus.

Declaration: I will keep myself connected to King Jesus in all that I do.  I will always listen for His voice and look to the sky for His return.

CAMEL’S HAIR AND LOCUSTS?

John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”   And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.  For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.  John 1:15-17 NKJV

John the Baptist was one bad motor scooter.  This man was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey (Matthew 3:4), and his whole life was dedicated to proclaiming the coming of Jesus Christ.

John the Baptist was crucial in getting the word out about King Jesus coming to save the world.  That was his one and only focus, King Jesus!  We should all have the same mindset, living our life dedicated to proclaiming that Jesus is risen and alive!

The first thing on your mind should be praising King Jesus and the last thing on your mind thanking King Jesus.  Throughout your day, you should find King Jesus in everything and everyone you encounter.

Because of the first Adam, we were condemned to death, however, because of the last Adam, King Jesus, we are given life everlasting if we believe in Him.  I don’t know about you, but I choose King Jesus any day of the week!

Declaration: I will keep You in the forefront of my mind, King Jesus.  All that I do and say, and all that I encounter, I will always find You in everything.  Thank you for Your loving sacrifice for me!

PERFECT GOVERNMENT MADE MANIFEST

PERFECT GOVERNMENT MADE MANIFEST

Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. Revelation 4:4 NKJV

Twenty-four is 12×2, so it’s a witness of God’s perfect government.  What happens when you witness, or become a witness, to the King of Kings is you begin to worship.  That’s why the 24 elders always fall down and worship because they see Him as King.  Worship is associated with the number 24.

Twenty-four is also associated with priesthood as David distributed the priests among 24 descendants of Aaron.  (1 Chronicles 24) I like that because the King of Kings and great High Priest Jesus Christ calls us kings and priests.

More on the Number 24 

There are 24 priests in 1 Chronicles 24. 

There are 24 elders in Revelation. 

The 24 divisions of priests (1 Chronicles 24:1-19) and cantors (1 Chronicles 25:9-31). 

It might interest you to know that while there are 37 recorded miracles of Jesus, there are exactly 24 cures.

God preaches through the number 12. When He does, His message has something to do with perfect government. God is perfect. There really is a plan and He is in control!

Understanding that today is marked by a number that is associated with worship and seeing the connection throughout His Word reminds us to live our lives filled with awe and wonder of Him.

Declaration: I will follow the will of God’s authority over my life.  I will honor those placed in office because it is only by God’s will that they are there for a purpose.  I trust King Jesus to guide my steps.

TEMPLE OF BOON

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

TEMPLE OF BOON

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?  For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV

With Media Deliliah running rampant in the world today, many forget the price God paid for their temple.  Your body, mind, and soul are the temple that God bought with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

If you want to live a life of Boon, or “blessing, favor, or benefit” (Mirriam-Webster.com), you need to be sure to stay focused on the things above and not on things of this world.

As you follow God’s will and His way for you, know that you are increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men (Luke 2:52) just as King Jesus did, as He walked out His assignment on earth.

My fervent prayer is to be in alignment for my Kingdom assignment so that I can bring You a full reward when I stand at Your throne. Do not let one soul be lost that You have assigned to me. Because You keep Your promises, You are prospering me and blessing my generations (Genesis 26:3) to bless others.

I want to encourage you to keep focused on your temple of boon and be aware of what you take in with your eyes and ears and what you allow to come out of your mouth toward others.

Declaration: I have a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.  I walk in the wisdom and favor of the Father.  My generations will follow Him, just as I will follow in His footsteps by staying focused on King Jesus.

THAT’S THE FACT JACK

Do you know that your mind is reproductive?  Do you realize that you are producing things all the time from the arena of your mind?  You protect that part of your life with truth.  Not with fact.  With truth.

Truth always supersedes fact.  Facts are temporary, carnal, and subject to the perspective of the beholder, but truth is eternal and never changes.

It might be a fact that your husband has left you, but the truth is you are not alone (Deut. 4:31).

It may be a fact that those around you don’t have a clue about what’s going on in your life, but the truth is that God knows (Psalms 1:6).

It may be a fact that there is no physical way to realize your God-given dreams, but the truth is, with God, all things are possible (Philippians. 4:13).

Fox News Network gives you the facts.  The doctor gives you the facts, but it is the Holy Spirit who gives you the truth.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.  John 16:13 KJV

If we do not maintain truth in the middle of our mess, we will produce something in that situation not born of God – something illegitimate.  God help us to keep ourselves covered!

It is the belt of truth that holds our protective armor together under the pressures we face.  That’s why God told us to put it on first.

You need to be sure to stay in the word with Christ daily and put on your belt of truth daily.  Only visiting with King Jesus or delving into God’s Word daily can you be ready to cast away any demonic attacks the devil will send your way.

Declaration: I will stay in the word daily to keep myself covered in the armor of God because I know King Jesus is my shield in battle and the Holy Spirit is the truth-bringer in my life.  I will be sure to listen to the truth and not the facts.

KRYPTONITE TO CREATIVITY

Anxiety and stress are the kryptonite to creativity, which bears good fruit in life. Dealing with the constant tension caused by the demands of your day requires you to have the manifest presence of the Lord with you throughout the day.

His manifest presence can show us exciting things that we know nothing about.

Then the angel  . . talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. Revelation 21:9b-10 NKJV

If I start my day by looking at my schedule first, the deluge of my day is the kryptonite to thinking creatively. Don’t go to it first; go to the Lord first. Begin with, Lord, here I am. Be present with Him, and He will be present with you.

Worship brings prophetic insight. That’s how David wrote the Psalms. He wrote them in the Tabernacle of David, which housed the ark of the covenant containing God’s presence.

While we worship Him, He gives us revelation of His heart and mind. You should have that exchange every single time you worship King Jesus.

It’s not just you coming before the Lord. When you come before the Lord, He accepts your embrace and begins to speak to you. You hear God speak in the Lord’s manifest presence, and you enter in through worship.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NKJV

Declaration: Praise for my Lord flows from my heart and mind as I enter His presence.  He shows me amazing things I can’t imagine. In His presence, I am filled with joy and abundant life.

AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. Matthew 9:20 NKJV

She bowed low in the dirt of the pathway and reached out.  She knew He would heal her if she could just touch the hem of His robe. He felt her need as soon as she touched Him and healed her.  She rose up and left the sickness behind.  She was set free.  Make today your day to expect and receive His gift of life and health.

Expectantly declare and receive all that He has for you:
Lord, I thank You and I praise You that You hear my prayers. There is none like You. You are Jehovah Rapha (Exodus 15:26), my Healer. All healing comes from You. Lord, I thank You that it is by Your stripes that I am healed (Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24).

Lord, I ask You to search my heart and show me any offensive way within me that I may turn from it and toward You in repentance (Psalm 39:23-24).

Your name is above every name (Philippians 2:9-10), and every illness and disease must bow to the name of Jesus. Jesus redeemed me from the curse because He became a curse for me (Galatians 3:1-3).

Thank You for Your blood that covers me. Your Word says life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11), and because Your blood covers me, Your life covers me, and Your blood cleanses me of all sin (1 John 1:7).

Thank You for delivering me out of all the afflictions coming against me (Psalm 34:17). I await Your perfect timing. Lord, increase my faith as I wait upon You. In Jesus’s name, I pray.

Declaration: I believe these Words and receive healing for myself and for others in my life that I am praying for.
