NATURALLY SUPERNATURAL

God wants us to stop waiting.  He says to rise and stand up to what is keeping you from the future He has for you.  Declare what He has said.  Expect it to happen.

And the Lord said to Moses, “Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh as he comes out to the water. Then say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me.” – Exodus 8:20 NKJV

See, the hope and future God gives us is an expected end. That’s why Jeremiah 29:11 is sometimes translated as “hope” and sometimes as “expected end.”  Look at the King James Version, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end…”

God wants you to expect and have great hope for where your life will end up. When you start thinking about that, you start thinking about the legacy you will leave behind.

We can get off track if we only follow our feelings to set our expectations. His ways aren’t always easy or comfortable; they are simply the best ways. When Pharoah let His people go, God took them to the wilderness.

We learn that God does things supernaturally in the wilderness, and it becomes a lifestyle for His people. We become naturally supernatural people who expect to see water come from rocks and manna from Heaven. We learn that God is not confined to anything in the wilderness, and we live that out for the rest of our lives.

Declaration: God’s voice will be strong and clear in my life today.  I will listen to Him.  I expect to walk in His promises for my life as I walk in freedom from sin and joy in my soul.

TAKE BACK YOUR LAND

TAKE BACK YOUR LAND

When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.” Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up? “And they said, “Seven. “So He said to them, “How is it you do not understand?” – Mark 8:19-21 NKJV

The Lord showed the disciples His Power through many miracles. He reminded them to call forth their faith. Like the disciples and the Israelites, however, we all tend to forget what God has done when a new problem arises.

Moses sent 12 spies to scout the land and come up with a plan.  Ten gave a bad report.  Yet, Joshua and Caleb knew they could take the Promised Land. The issue for them was never if but how and when.

Joshua knew the when. He said that right now is the time, let’s go. They wouldn’t listen, so it says they spoke to all the congregation.

“If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us.  Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.” – Numbers 14:7-9 NKJV

Joshua said the Lord is with us.  This is how you know the devil, the enemy, is no longer protected. You bring Jesus onto their turf.

The Lord is with you today.  The enemy is no longer protected. Christ in you is the hope of glory, and you are bringing Jesus to this fight.  Take possession of the life He has given you.

Declaration: Jesus is in me and has given me His power and authority to defeat anything the enemy tries to throw my way.  Today, I will walk in confidence and peace and claim the goodness He has for me.

BATTLE CRY FOR SALVATION

Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? – Mark 8:18 NKJV

Who do you know that is blind to the Truth of Jesus?  Who do you know who has heard the Gospel but refuses to receive it?  Do you know any prodigals who did know Him but now refuse to remember?  Do you see someone living in a wilderness world and refusing the abundant life Jesus has for them?  Make today a day to battle for them.

Is it you? Have your eyes and heart grown dim?  Have you stopped hearing His voice?  Have you forgotten who you are?  Contend for your faith.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. – John 3:16-17 NKJV

Father, I thank You for the priceless gift of salvation and for sending Your Son, Jesus, to die for our sins. It is Your wish for none to be lost, so I ask You to give revelation knowledge of You. Pull down every stronghold of the enemy that keeps us from receiving Your saving grace and cause every high thing coming between our heart and the Gospel to be melted away by Your Holy Spirit fire.

Jesus, I ask You to overwhelm us with Your mercy and grace so that we will repent and be saved. Thank You, Lord, for answering my prayers in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Declaration: I am a born-again, alive in the Spirit, child of God.   Lord, open the eyes of the prodigals and lost so they have new beginnings for Your abundant Life.

FROM SAUL TO PAUL

Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.  And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.  – Acts 9:8-9 NKJV

You want to know how Paul dealt with all the conflict, persecution, peril, and outright hell he had to endure as an apostle of the early church? He got small. It wasn’t about him. It was about Jesus. Paul learned to not think higher of himself than he actually was. This kind of soul invasion was so successful in the life of Paul, that he actually “finished his course” (2 Timothy 4:7).

Yes, bad things happen. However, that is no reason to be fearful. Yes, trouble is out there, but that’s no reason to let your heart jump into your throat and change your agenda.

Brother Paul says in Colossians 1:23 that we need to be careful not to be moved away from the hope of the Gospel. It’s one of those 1-2-3 scriptures and 1-2-3 is all about progression. That means hope is something you need to progress in. Do you know you can be a Christian, you can love God, and become unstable and dislodged from hope? All you have to do is let your mind go unchecked when something bad happens. You will have trouble “sure as sparks fly upward” (Job 5:7).

Declaration: My life is lived in confident hope in King Jesus who loves and guides me. The dark deeds happening around me will not keep me from knowing the Light of hope that is mine through my Savior.

HIS HOLY PLACE

HIS HOLY PLACE

Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? 
Or who may stand in His holy place? 
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, 
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, 
Nor sworn deceitfully. 
He shall receive blessing from the Lord, 
And righteousness from the God of his salvation. 
This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, 
Who seek Your face. Selah – Psalm 24:3-6 NKJV

The Psalm books are some of my favorite books in the Bible.  You can find anything and everything in the Psalm books for what you are facing in this fallen world.  Psalm 24 is what I have been studying and focusing on this year.

This is the year for a new ear for you to hear God and His love for you.  The Malchus Miracle is everywhere if you take the time to see the prophetic meaning in the headlines.  When you hear of things going on in the world, I encourage you to ask yourself, “If this was a dream, what would it mean?”

The Holy Place of the Lord is where we will stand once God renders His judgment on the world after Jesus comes back.  We will always have an open door from the Lord where we can go in and just sit and talk to Him about anything.

You still have the ability to talk to Him now, before God’s judgment, you just need to find your secret place and sit with the Lord and wait on Him or wail to Him about all the terrible things going on.  He can take it, only His shoulders are big enough.

Declaration: I will sit in the Holy Place with the Lord.  While I wait for that day, I will sit in the secret place with King Jesus and soak in His word.

THE LAZARUS EFFECT

THE LAZARUS EFFECT

And some of them said, “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?” Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb.  It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.  Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” – John 11:37-39 NKJV

The Bible is full of stories within stories, called an embedded narrative.  It is a literary device in which a character within a story becomes the narrator of a second embedded story.

The story of Lazarus is one of these nested stories within a story.  Think about how Jesus felt when He heard, “…there is a stench…”  What hurt do you think Jesus felt when he heard this from Martha about Lazarus?

When you face a situation that seems impossible, tune into the Dunamis Power of the Holy Spirit.  Allow God to work and flow through you to achieve everything He has for you in this world.

Declaration: I will trust King Jesus with all the ‘impossibles’ in my life.  He makes all things possible for my good and His glory.

GRASSHOPPERS AND GIANTS

GRASSHOPPERS AND GIANTS

There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants), and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight. – Numbers 13:33 NKJV

When people hear of giants or Nephilim of the Bible, most everyone thinks of David and Goliath.  Now, King David was a cool dude; however, I want to talk to you about Caleb.

Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, was one of the twelve spies Moses sent out in the Book of Numbers.  After Caleb and the other eleven came back after scouting out the lands and the different cities, every single one of them said that there were people ‘stronger, taller, the cities were fortified’ because what they saw were giants in the land; they called God’s people (themselves) ‘grasshoppers’ in Number 13:33.

While these eleven cry babies were going on and on, Caleb stepped up and said to Moses that they could win the land back if they struck immediately.  Caleb knew that God was with them, and, like King David, Caleb had no doubt they could conquer the giants…he was a bad motor scooter!

Today’s giants exist, not only in physical appearance, but in technology, too.  Today’s giants include media Delilah, woke agendas, and the lies from the devil.  See, the way of the giant is to introduce the idea that you are powerless, your defeat is certain, and God will not help you.  But like I said, the devil is a liar and you have already defeated the giants of this world because of the Blood of Jesus!

Be like King David and Caleb, hold tight to King Jesus and the victory you had once He said, “It is finished!”

Declaration: I will trust in God’s plan and understanding and not my own.  I will face the giants of today with confidence just as King David and Caleb did because where I go God is with me and will always ensure I win the battle against the giants.

REBELLION

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

REBELLION

So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.  Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.”  Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.” – 1 Samuel 15:22-24 NKJV

Saul made the mistake most people of this fallen world make, listening and fearing the people of the world instead of God.  Fear of the Lord is not a negative thing but a directive to help you stay focused on Him – Love what God loves; Hate what God hates.  When you are living your destiny in this world, keeping focused on King Jesus will help you make the right decisions no matter how hard they may seem.

1 Samuel 23 explains how God views rebellion as the ‘sin of witchcraft’ yet, He offered the sacrifice of King Jesus for all those who choose rebellion instead of God.  A big part of knowing how to live in these last days is learning how to walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit.  We have to walk in the fear of the Lord.

Declaration: I will walk in the fear of the Lord, and I will not fall prey to the lap of media Delilah.  I will keep my eyes focused on His words in the Bible and on Kingdom things in the sky above.

YOU GOTTA BE READY!

Nestled between Germany and France lies the tiny country of Switzerland. It is politically known for its military neutrality, yet every adult male is issued a military stock assault rifle and ammunition by the government and is employed by the militia. Some of the best marksmen in the world come from Switzerland. Switzerland is a nation that loves peace, yet its people are armed to the teeth. That nation exists in a constant state of readiness because it understands the following principle: The nation that experiences the most peace is the nation most prepared for war!

It’s the same with you. If you want peace in your mind, you need to be someone mentally and spiritually armed to the teeth. You must accept that war is inevitable.

The enemy will take an unprepared Christian into a headlock and slam him into demonically controlled thinking patterns the way Hulk Hogan slams people in the turnbuckle. A Christian who is not at a constant state of readiness is one that makes an easy target for the enemy.  So, here’s the deal, Sparky: It is inevitable you will be spiritually attacked in the area of your mind at some point this very day.

As God established the governance of His temple, anointing oil was poured on Aaron’s head.

And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him. – Leviticus 8:12 (NKJV)

Anointing oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit coming upon us to empower us and bless us.  Consecrate your mind to the mind of Christ and let Him govern your life.

Declaration: The Holy Spirit arms me with Power and Authority to stand strong in the face of enemy attacks.  I walk in Peace and will not allow the enemy to rob me of what Jesus has given me.

HEROES AND VILLAINS

HEROES AND VILLAINS

When I watch a movie, I like it when the good guy is a good guy, and the bad guy is a bad guy. I don’t like it when the lines are blurred. It’s one of the major reasons I am such a fanatic about the goodness of God.

None of the lines are blurred.

There is no evil in the goodness of God. There is no evil in God at all. He is good. His intentions and plans are good. He does good because that’s who He chooses to be; He never changes His mind. Jesus is the most amazing and wonderful person the world has ever seen. He’s just plain awesome!!!

But in the church, all of that looks like a 3-D movie without the glasses. If the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, that kind of goodness, lives in us, why is the church so obviously messed up?

The problem with America, our families, and our communities has to do with a real deficit of God’s great goodness in our lives in a way that is real. The problem is not that there aren’t enough Christians or churches. The problem is there’s not enough goodness.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. – Romans 8:11 NKJV

Be like Jesus.  Be a hero in your world and bring goodness.

Declaration: I am a joint heir to the Kingdom with King Jesus, and I will always look for opportunities to be a hero rising in God’s eyes.  Any opportunity I see to serve God, I will have a yes and amen in my heart.
