THE LAND OF PROMISE

When I have brought them to the land flowing with milk and honey, of which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and filled themselves and grown fat, then they will turn to other gods and serve them; and they will provoke Me and break My covenant. – Deuteronomy 31:20 NKJV

Israel was out of control during their Exodus out of Egypt and angered God many times. As a result, Joshua, Caleb, and the people 20 years old and younger were the only ones allowed to enter the promised land.

The Old Testament is a foreshadow for generations to come. There is still a promise that awaits us, and we need to press into God so that we will receive everything God has for us.

By pressing into God and the covenant He has with you, the promises He made long ago with the children of Israel will be given to you.  Just as Isaiah 1:19 says, If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.  If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword”; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. – Isaiah 1:18-20 NKJV

God wants to have continuous conversations with us, and we need to listen, cooperate with Him, and obey Him. We cannot nail down the Holy Spirit to any one particular method. God reserves the right to unlimited and unrestricted expressions of His heart.

Declaration: I will listen to God as He instructs me and advises me on the best path for my life.  I will keep in continuous conversation with Him and enjoy the blessings He chooses to express with His heart.

SEED WAR

SEED WAR

The Seed War is a war that has been ongoing.  The Messianic promises told of Jesus’ mission.  We find the first out of 400 of them Genesis 3:15, the first of those, and it starts off like this:

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”

God is talking to the serpent and saying that there are two seeds that are going to war.  Then He tells who is going to win. He personally is going to enter into the seed of humanity.

In the fallen spiritual and non-fallen spiritual world, there are elohim.  Elohim is a Hebrew word for every being that is spiritual and not human.  It has to do with angels, it has to do with demons, and it has to do with this mysterious group that’s called the Sons of God.   When they fell, God did not offer them redemption. He offered us, humanity, redemption and now He gives us power to be called the Sons of God.  These demonic forces do not like us because of that.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes, He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. – 2 Corinthians 8:9 NKJV

He told them, “I will die, and then I will go to the powers of hell, and I will take away their power.” We have the power of Jesus to begin a new life with Him and to bear kingdom fruit in our lives.

Declaration: Jesus gave me a new life by giving up His.  I will walk in my new life and bear kingdom fruit.  I will let gratitude fill my heart and mind for all Jesus has done for me.

SAFETY

SAFETY

Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained. And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters decreased. Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat. – Genesis 8:1-4 NKJV

This is very much like the days we live in: “God saw that the earth became very corrupt and filled with violence. God observed all this corruption in the world…” So, God sent a flood that covered the earth. The rainbow is our covenant with God that He will not send a flood to cover the entire earth again. However, God will destroy the wickedness and evil that has taken over the world again. God’s plan and purpose will prevail.

God made a way for a new beginning for Noah and his family, and He will make a way for you and your family. We must stay close to God and abide under the shadow of the Almighty, and we will be part of the Bride.

Declaration: God is my safe place, and He will protect me and provides for me.  I trust that His words do not return void and His promises are always kept for my good and His glory.

FORWARD INTO THE FRAY

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills. – Deuteronomy 8:7 NKJV

“And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” – Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV

For most of us, not only does the act of moving forward look like a train wreck, so do the circumstances in which we find ourselves stumbling through. It’s hard to believe God is happy with you when you are stumbling in a place that doesn’t honor or glorify Him.

God says, “Move forward, and I will celebrate your progression.” He does not say, “Clean the place up and get your act together before you do.”

When your Daddy [God] gives you a great big ice cream cone, He is not saying do not make a mess. He is giving you the green light to go for it.

He already knows there will be a mess, and He is confident He can handle the cleanup.

If you fear the mess will bring His disapproval, you will never take your first bite, even though He has purchased it and handed it to you.  This is where a lot of us are today.

Declaration: Wherever God wants to take me, I will follow Him.  With every new beginning, I will trust His Spirit within me to lead me.

WISDOM

WISDOM

Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice?  She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, Beside the way, where the paths meet.  She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors: “To you, O men, I call, And my voice is to the sons of men.  O you simple ones, understand prudence, And you fools, be of an understanding heart.” – Proverbs 8:1-5 NKJV

We have so many sources of information today. We listen to different news outlets, and many are misleading and false. When we sneeze or have issues with our bodies, we must go online immediately to see if it might be a disease. And, of course, we must check all the most recent chats online to get all the juicy information possible. The Bible tells us come to her and listen.

There are 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs, and I encourage you to read them all to get a full understanding of what you need to know to live in the fear of the Lord.  God is very intentional about what He has to say in the Bible. He gives us a chapter for every day of the month in the Book of Proverbs.

You should also note that since God created time for the purpose of redemptive works, it is wisdom and the proper use of time to invite God into every timeline you can think of— past, present, and future. Ask God to meet you there and do the work of His heart.

God is speaking and He wants you to listen to His precious Wisdom and learn from her.

Declaration: I will cherish wisdom from the Bible because it is the principal way to live life according to God.  Wisdom helps me to be safe, healthy, and prosperous every day of the year.

BONDAGE BREAKER

BONDAGE BREAKER

And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage. – Ezra 9:8 NKJV

There is power in prophetic acts because prophetic acts can only be done through the power of the Holy Spirit living within you after you accept King Jesus as your Savior.  Jesus came to this world to break the bonds of sin and give you a new beginning through the Grace of God!

Did you know that God loves to wipe out enemies upon your behalf?  God loves to get rid of bondage and God loves to take you out of terrible place and bring you into better places.  When God created man to walk with Him in the Garden of Eden, He only desired to build a personal relationship with man.

But man, being human, fell for the lies of the enemy and then, Adam and Eve were banned from the Garden. How that must have hurt God’s heart!  Yet, by His grace, God sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ to bridge the gap.

Once you said, “Yes” to Christ, your bondage was broken, and your new beginning was a revival in your spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit moved into your soul, intent on doing life with you, just as God originally intended when He made man.  Praise King Jesus!

Declaration: I am no longer in bondage because Jesus Christ is my bondage breaker.  I will continually give Him a “Yes” in my daily life.  I am doing life with God, and I will cherish every moment He gives to me.

BE A SOMEBODY

BE A SOMEBODY

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. – Job 33:4 NKJV

Did you know that God never made a Nobody?  We are the Somebodies He made.  When the devil tries to trick you with half-truths and flat out lies, you need to remember that you are a Somebody and the devil lost the battle at the foot of the cross of King Jesus!  When you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, you walked out of the world of nobodies and into the world of somebodies.  How cool is that!

Brothers and sisters, consider who you were when God called you to salvation. Not many of you were wise scholars by human standards, nor were many of you in positions of power. Not many of you were considered the elite when you answered God’s call.  But God chose those whom the world considers foolish to shame those who think they are wise, and God chose the puny and powerless to shame the high and mighty.  He chose the lowly, the laughable in the world’s eyes—nobodies—so that he would shame the somebodies. For he chose what is regarded as insignificant in order to supersede what is regarded as prominent. – 1 Corinthians 1:26-28 TPT

Becoming a somebody in God’s eyes means walking in the fear of the Lord – love what He loves and hate what He hates.  We cannot just wake up one day and say, “I am now a somebody in God’s eyes.”  There is only one way to become a somebody in God’s eyes and that is through Jesus Christ.

If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?” – Acts 11:17 NKJV

Declaration: I am a somebody in God’s eyes because I love what He loves and hates what He hates.  Only through King Jesus can my life be transformed from a nobody to a somebody.

GOD’S PERFECT MASTERPIECE

GOD’S PERFECT MASTERPIECE

He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He. – Deuteronomy 32:4 NKJV

Today we are going to unwrap God’s Perfect Masterpiece. There are famous artists around the world, dead some alive, but the greatest artist to ever live is God Himself!   You are God’s favorite work of art!  All things He creates are perfect and that includes you.  Did you know that when God created you, He created the perfect completion of you first and then worked backwards to meet you where you are?

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. – Genesis 1:31 NKJV

Genesis 1:31 tells us that after God looked at everything He created; He saw “it was very good.”  My Friends, God doesn’t make junk; He made you and after looking at you, he saw you were very good!

You are His treasure. He loves your humanity, every bit of it, because every part of you He sees as His classic model – the ultimate masterpiece!

Why do you think He made us so unique? No one is exactly like the other, not even identical twins!  God created us for His glory and when Adam and Eve fell, God loved us so much that He sent King Jesus to bridge the gap between us and Him.

God loves you and loves you enough to refine you into the perfect gem that reflects the final version of who He created you to be.

Declaration: I will continually strive to reach the perfection King Jesus set for me.  As I walk out my destiny, I will always praise God for making me His perfect masterpiece.

FAITHFUL WITNESS

2 – A Faithful Witness and Being Set Apart

FAITHFUL WITNESS

Loving King Jesus makes you want to follow His ways because you know they are better than your ways.  Part of following in His ways is being a faithful witness to His life, death, and resurrection.

Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines faithful as “steadfast in affection or allegiance” and witness as “attestation of a fact or event and one who has personal knowledge of something.”  Being a faithful witness to King Jesus means that you are steadfast in your allegiance because of your personal knowledge of Him (https://www.merriam-webster.com/).

You need to keep in His word and working on your personal walk with God every day.  Doing this allows you to be able to stand strong in the face of the enemy and the woke mindset of this fallen world.  Whatever you take in through your eyes and ears will come out of your mouth, so what you do in your everyday lifestyle determines what your witness of your faith is about.

A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness will utter lies.  A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it, but knowledge is easy to him who understands. – Proverbs 14:5-6 NKJV

Being encouraging and compassionate to other people you engage with shows Jesus to the world.  If you are giving into your flesh and being aloof or mean to people, you are not being a faithful witness to the lost world.

Friends, make sure you know the word of God and know the Presence of God because that determines your walk with King Jesus.  Be a truly faithful witness and stay steadfast in your belief and personal knowledge of Jesus because in the end, His opinion is all that matters in your life – not this woke society and fallen world.

Declaration: I will stand strong as a faithful witness to King Jesus.  I will keep in His word daily and I will utter only truth of His redeeming Blood to all that I encounter in this world each day.

HIS GLORY

HIS GLORY

O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! – Psalm 8:1 NKJV

God’s power and glory are incredible and on display in all His creation.  The number eight means new beginnings and our God is the God of new beginnings.  He creates all things for His glory and our good!

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?  For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. – Psalm 8:3-5 NKJV

This Psalm says the heavens, the moon, and the stars are the work of God’s fingers. You can sit and meditate on that aspect alone, but there is so much more.  The number eight is the number God uses to illustrate resurrection.  It has to do with new birth, new life, and new creation.  When God preaches on redemption and when He makes things alive again, He likes to use the number eight in His language.

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” – Revelation 21:5 NKJV

Nobody loves new beginnings more than your Maker. He is the God of the second chance, and the third, and the 490th chance (70 x 7; Matthew 18:22). While a western mind tends to think in terms of dispensations or quick, abrupt leaps from one thing to another, a Middle Eastern mind thinks in terms of gradual change through cycles and seasons. God does both. He loves to do things in cycles while consistently advancing and progressing His people into all things brand new.

Declaration: For the joy of the Lord is my strength and He makes all things new.  I will trust God to always show me His ways as I walk out my destiny on this Earth.
