Psalm 7:11 (NKJV) God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.

THE GOOD GUYS

The Lord waged war against the disorder, darkness, and chaos by proclaiming and demonstrating His goodness.  This is how He changes atmospheres – by introducing goodness. We should do the same.

Romans 8:28 (NKJV) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

We are not afraid of the mess. Since we love God, the mess becomes employed by the goodness of God. The Bible says above that our love for God qualifies us to see all things work together for GOOD.  Goodness is God’s ongoing work for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

Some of my favorite historical heroes are warriors who stood up against the momentum of the evil of their day. I want to stand with those guys, and I want to be deeply connected to a kingdom tribe (church) that does the same.

Declaration: I will be one of the “good guys” today and walk in the goodness of the Lord.  I will rise up and stand strong so that I walk in the purpose God has for me in the world.

GOD SAVES

Psalm 7:10 (NKJV) My defense is of God, Who saves the upright in heart. 

GOD SAVES

Psalm 46:1-3 (NKJV) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

In Genesis, the Bible says that the waters hovered over the surface of the dark sea, and God brought order out of darkness. The world is in such great order any way we measure it—scientifically, mathematically, statistically, and in the heavens. People have been saved just by trying to disprove these facts. God will bring order out of any disorder we may have in the world today.

Psalm 44:1-5 (NKJV) We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, the deeds You did in their days, in days of old: You drove out the nations with Your hand, but them You planted; You afflicted the peoples, and cast them out. For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You favored them. You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob. Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us.

When challenging situations arise, King Jesus will fight for you and listen to you when you pray. King Jesus did not say that everything would be easy but that He would be with us through the storm. He restores things to their rightful order and makes them new again.

Declaration: We will arise and go forward to the shining great victory through Christ Jesus.

Psalm 7:9 (NKJV) Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, But establish the just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds. 

GOD IS TURNING IT AROUND

Psalm 37:7-10 (NKJV) Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret – it only causes harm.  For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.  For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be no more.

It’s no surprise that God is always testing us to see what we would do in a situation. This is to build us up, make us strong, and show us our heart’s condition. There are always things we can work on within ourselves, and God helps us along this path, walking us through the Blessings and helping us to look like Him.

Romans 5:1-5 (NKJV) Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

The reset has begun, and when the dust settles, all things will be restored and made new again here on Earth. We will have a season of Blessing before the Lord comes to take His church home.

Declaration: God’s promises are yes and amen, so I await patiently! Because the heart is desperately wicked, search me, Lord, and root out any wicked way in me (Jeremiah 17:9). Jesus, train me to set my mind on things above and not on the things of the earth (Colossians 3:2)

GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED

8 – New Beginnings

Psalm 7:8 (NKJV) The LORD shall judge the peoples; Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, And according to my integrity within me.

GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED

Psalm 7:11-14 (NKJV) God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day.  If he does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready.  He also prepares for Himself instruments of death; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts.  Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.

The enemy lies constantly to cover the evil that they are doing. They project the wrong that they are doing on you. The lies begin if you are close enough to them that they can bait and switch. Then they spread the lies repeatedly, not knowing what they sow they will reap. If you repent and turn from such wickedness, God’s mercies will be new every morning.

Hebrews 4:15-16 (NKJV) For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

God is the God of new beginnings, so you are not without hope. God loves to take the people the world has discounted and consider worthless and give them His truth. Samuel was sent to the house of Jesse of Bethlehem with a bottle of anointing oil, looking for the next king. The Lord told Samuel to anoint whom He told him to anoint for the future king. Indeed, one of David’s brothers should have been chosen for this position according to the world’s standards. But God chose David, who was in the fields covered in dirt, tending the sheep.

Declaration: The Lord is my redeemer, and there are new beginnings for me.  I will always turn to Him in good times and bad because He directs my path.

Esther 7:7 (NKJV) Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king. 

THOSE AGAINST THE JEWS

Psalm 7:15-16 (NKJV) He made a pit and dug it out, and has fallen into the ditch which he made.  His trouble shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown.

Haman’s delusion was that he was in control, and because he hated the Jewish people, he was justified in killing them. After all, he had one of the highest positions, and there was no reason to think his plan would fail.

Esther 4:7-8 (NKJV) And Mordecai told him all that had happened to him, and the sum of money that Haman had promised to pay into the king’s treasuries to destroy the Jews.  He also gave him a copy of the written decree for their destruction, which was given at Shushan, that he might show it to Esther and explain it to her, and that he might command her to go in to the king to make supplication to him and plead before him for her people.

God will never allow the Jewish people to be destroyed. They are His treasured people, and their land belongs to God, and if you curse Israel, you will be cursed. If you Bless Israel, you will be Blessed. God is a covenant-keeping God; the scriptures tell us He never sleeps nor slumbers, and He will fight for Israel.

There are lots of sevens in today’s devotional.  It is the number that marks His rest and where He rules over all things created.

Declaration: I will pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Bless your people, Israel.

THE LORD’S RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

2 Kings 7:6 (NKJV ) For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and the noise of horses—the noise of a great army; so they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us!” 

THE LORD’S RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT

Psalm 2:4-9 (NKJV) He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.  Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.” “I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You.  Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.  You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’”

The Lord is mighty in battle, and His judgments are right. His mercies are new every morning, and His grace abounds toward us. He’s not willing that any should perish, and if you are rebelling and fighting against God, at some point, you will experience the wrath of God.

Psalm 89:13-18 (NKJV) You have a mighty arm; Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand.  Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.  Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!  They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.  In Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exalted.  For You are the glory of their strength, and in Your favor our horn is exalted.  For our shield belongs to the Lord, and our king to the Holy One of Israel.

Declaration: The Lord holds all power and authority and rules over all the Earth, and His purpose shall prevail.  I repent of any judgments, grumbling, careless words, curses, and vows. I will seek and speak forgiveness because I want to live by the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

GOD’S COUNTRY

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

Mark 7:5 (NKJV) Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?”

GOD’S COUNTRY

The Declaration of Independence was the birth certificate of our great nation, but it was also a death warrant for the signers.  When those 56 guys signed it, there wasn’t a jubilee or shouting in Independence Hall.  It was a solemn, Holy moment.   When they put their signatures on that piece of paper, they knew their life would never ever be the same again.  As a matter of fact, the closing paragraph of that holy document actually says, “…for the support of this declaration with the firm reliance of the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”  It was a big deal.

They broke from the traditions and followed what God said.  If you will believe God, and step into the place that He’s called you to step, He will give you grace for it.

Following Jesus requires “firm reliance of the protection of divine providence,” too.  Jesus broke from the cultural and religious norms, and so must we.  When we do, great things happen.

Think about the wonder that is the United States of America. It is a wonder. I know and love American history. I’m a history freak. I can see the hand of God throughout our history – Even in the midst of our horrible messes. We’ve had horrible messes because human beings are involved in it. It’s the same reason the church is so messed up: because human beings are involved in it.

Even with all that said, I can see God’s hand in America’s history. I can see how heaven has invaded earth, and I can see God’s promises. I wonder what would have happened to the rest of the world had there not been an America.

When I look at all that America is, I just say, “Thank you, Jesus.”

Declaration: In my life, there is no king but King Jesus.  My ways on the path of life are not normal because I serve a supernatural King.  Today, I will celebrate the freedom He has given me and will live free from the bondage of cultural norms.

HOPE FOR THE NATION

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

4 – Creation and Things that are Made

1 Samuel 7:4 (NKJV) So the children of Israel put away the Baals and the Ashtoreths, and served the Lord only.

HOPE FOR THE NATION

1 Samuel 7 is a beautiful story of the Lord’s redemption. You see when you serve other gods, God will bring it to your attention and require you to repent so you can come back into His Kingdom with blessings and righteousness. In 1 Samuel 7, they were going to face a big-time battle with the Philistines, but the Lord said, if you will put away these gods, He will protect you from the Philistines. This verse in 1 Samuel clearly states Israel’s intentions, and there is no question or “maybe” about it.

They put away the distractions of the trends of the day to return to the goodness and protection of the Lord their God. People are being drawn to witchcraft and the occult arts as a trend today, serving demonic principalities. But the God who is King and above any of these practices is ready and willing to redeem us back into His Presence.

There is hope for our nation. America and many countries are at a critical point today. There are demonic agendas in our different nations, but the Lord is here amid the deceptions. In my new Prophetic Teaching, 24, I discuss Psalm 24.

Psalm 24:3-5 (NKJV) Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?   Or who may stand in His holy place?  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.  He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

God always provides a way out of despair, hopelessness, and personal and national calamities! There is hope for our nation!

Romans 15:13 (NKJV) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Declaration:  My nation will serve God only. We, the people, will not swear deceitfully or lift our souls up in conceit. We choose clean hands and pure hearts to ascend to the hill of the Lord and stand in his Holy Place!

PREPARE YOUR HEARTS FOR THE LORD

1 Samuel 7:3 (NKJV) Then Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, “If you return to the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths from among you, and prepare your hearts for the Lord, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.” 

PREPARE YOUR HEARTS FOR THE LORD

1 Chronicles 28:9-10 (NKJV) “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.  Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it.”

There are idols all around us, and they are not like the type of idols in the Bible. Cell phones, for many, are a modern-day idol. Overeating can be a modern-day idol. The computer or watching television programs can be modern-day idols. Get the idols out of your life and watch how God will bless you.

Every time you meet God in that certain place at that certain time, He offers a new layer of revelation on the subject. You align your confessions, proclamations, and declarations that go with this prophetic season for your life.

James 1:17 (NKJV) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

God has a storehouse in heaven full of blessings, which are rightfully yours if you are a child of God. Come into alignment with God and receive them.

Declaration: I will bring my life in alignment with God’s will and remove any idols because my loyalty is to King Jesus.

GOD’S STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS

2 – A Faithful Witness and Being Set Apart

Exodus 7:2 (NKJV) You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall tell Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land. 

GOD’S STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS

Isaiah 35:3-4 (NKJV) Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees.  Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear!  Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”

The enemy will put up a front and make it look like he is in control and has power over a situation or territory. He will relentlessly push his false narrative and believe that it will prevail over God’s plan and purpose. Because of his stubbornness, the enemy deceives others and causes much destruction around him in the Book of Exodus.

Psalm 103:17-22 (NKJV) But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, To such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments to do them.  The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.  Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word.  Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, you ministers of His, who do His pleasure.  Bless the Lord, all His works, in all places of His dominion.  Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Though Jesus has already won the war for your freedom, it’s up to you to win the daily battles the enemy wages in your heart, mind, family, finances; the list is long, but know that you are on the right battlefield when you invite Jehovah Nissi—the Lord our Banner—to ride onto your battlefield and display the King’s flag over your life. He loves to fight for you and to give you the credit for the victory.

Be on God’s side of things because this is the winning side. If God is for you, no power can stand against you, and God desires you to have life and have it more abundantly.

Declaration: I will not sit on the fence or in the middle of the road. I’m on God’s side, and I have the victory.
