TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

1 – Unity

2 Samuel 6:1 (NKJV):  Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.

UNITY

The name David, while common in our culture, only belongs to one man in the Bible. That’s somewhat of an oddity when you consider there are five Mary names in the New Testament and seven Jeremiah names throughout the Scripture.

David desired to “…dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23:6). The man whose name means “beloved” has the number one stamped on him. The word “eternity” is found only once in Scripture. (Isaiah 57:15). No doubt the unity our Lord longs for is not temporary but one that lasts forever.

The point of understanding numbers in Scripture is to avoid going off into a fruitless study of math. The purpose is to hear God’s voice. He loves to preach unity through the number one.

John 15:4 (KJV) Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

John 16:27 (KJV) For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Declaration:  I am one with Jesus. I hear His voice. My unity with the Father will last an eternity.

Judges 5:31 (NKJV) “Thus let all Your enemies perish, O Lord! But let those who love Him be like the sun when it comes out in full strength.”

LET THE SON SHINE IN!

The Book of Judges is a great book to read when you are trying to understand how the world and believers handled the law. The Scripture referenced today is from Deborah’s song. Reading this passage gives me pause because of the parallel between the sun and The Son.

Just as the sun rises in our sky, we feel the warmth coming off it. Having a close relationship with King Jesus, we can feel His warmth issuing forth through the Holy Spirit in us. God speaks through the sun, the stars, and the moon, just as He speaks to us through the Bible. The Author is the same!

As you go through your day today, each time you see or feel the sun’s warmth, turn your thoughts to the True Son, who, through Him, all things are made for you to experience on your life journey. Ask God to continue counting your days so you may gain the heart of wisdom He has made for you.

Psalm 90:12 (NKJV) So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Declaration: I will walk through my life remembering that King Jesus is the Son I need to walk the journey God has set forth for me. I will share the warmth of the Son with all that I encounter and let them know that an everlasting Son will provide warmth even on the coldest days!

HEALING POWER

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

Mark 5:30 (NKJV): And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”

HEALING POWER

Matthew 28:18 (ESV) And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

The lady in our Scripture reading in Mark chapter five was desperate. She tried everything else, and nothing worked. She knew she would be healed if she could get close enough to Jesus to touch Him. Jesus responded to her faith and said “Daughter, your faith has made you well,” and she was healed. I encourage you not to make Jesus your last resort. Always put Him at the top of your list and first place in your day.

Psalm 46:1-3 (ASV) God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains tremble with the swelling thereof.

Our world is becoming more and more crazy every day, and situations are beyond our natural abilities to resolve. We need to be able to reach out to King Jesus and get an answer right away. We can no longer handle things as usual, and time is short. Let me encourage you to seek King Jesus now and develop that relationship and intimacy with him. He will be there when you need him.

Declaration: I will look up to the maker of all heaven and earth. Knowing where my help comes from. I will draw near to Him, and He will draw near to me.

MOST HIGH GOD

Deuteronomy 5:29 (NKJV): “Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!”

MOST HIGH GOD

God loves the mountains. He met with Moses on the mountain to give the commandments the people of Israel would need to follow in order to prosper in the Promised Land.  Jesus went up the mountain when He taught the Sermon on the Mount and when He was transfigured.  In all these examples, we note that there were only the closest followers there with God.

“There are some high places in the Lord where few people are up to the challenge of climbing. God Himself is called the “Most High” God.  These places I am talking about are reserved for a very elite few. People who are willing to get up off the couch and be the people He has called them to be. These places are above the muck and the mire. Above the filth and the noise of our everyday lives. Places where the air is clean, and things make sense on a greater scale.

All of us, as people of God, need to find these places in Christ. We all have a God-given, spiritual ability to get up there too.

2 Samuel 22:34 (NKJV): He makes my feet like the feet of deer and sets me on my high places.

There is no neutral in your spiritual gearbox. You are either climbing higher, reaching toward the things of God or you are sinking into the muck and mire of your flesh and your world.”

Declaration: Today, I will follow Jesus’s ways. I will fight for the King’s heart and the next level of understanding and relationship with Him.

FIGHT FROM GRACE

1 Thessalonians 5:28 (NKJV): The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

FIGHT FROM GRACE

Face it, we are a mess. Yes, you and I are major malfunctions, and we will be until we get home to glory. As messed up as we are, God calls us His people and sends us into the darkest places of this crazy world with a mandate and a mission to surround evil and change things for good. We are to save people from an eternity in hell.

First, He surrounds us with goodness to lead us.

Teach me to do your will; for you are my God; your spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. – Psalm 143:10 (NKJV)

After He leads us by His goodness, we are followed by His goodness.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. – Psalm 23:6 (NKJV)

Not only is He in the midst of us with His goodness, but He is also before us and behind us!

Then your light will break forth like morning and your healing will spring forth speedily; And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. – Isaiah 58:8 (NKJV)

The battle is for the eternal souls of men and women. The risks and the rewards are worth it. It’s time to step out of your comfort zone and into the battle for the lost souls that surround you. God is working behind the scenes to prepare the hearts of those He is bringing to you. Ready? Set? Go!

Declaration: Today, I will step out in faith to battle for goodness in evil places. I know that God is paving the way for me with His grace and will sustain my efforts after I have finished my fight!

HIGHER PERSPECTIVE

27 – Things Unveiled & Revealed in God’s Presence / Light of Truth

Luke 5:27 (NKJV): After these things He went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.”

HIGHER PERSPECTIVE

Levi immediately got up and followed Jesus.  This lonely man, who was despised by his family and others living around him for being a tax collector, had a revelation.  He heard the voice of God invite him into fellowship with Him.  The revelation changed him, and he became Matthew, who wrote the Gospel of Jesus.  Imagine the joy he felt when he wrote down these words Jesus said, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20b NKJV)

“Revelation knowledge is knowing or seeing something the way God knows or sees something. This is fundamental Christianity. This is the rock where the church starts. This is a view from above.

The next time your heart is overwhelmed, and your mind is freaked out – the next time you are at the “end of your world,” as both King David and King Jesus have put it – allow the Lord to lead you to a higher rock. Let God show you your situation the way He sees it. Consent to the leading of the Holy Spirit concerning your understanding of whatever is causing your anxiety.

Say, “Lord, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” In other words, “Show me how to see this the way you see it. Show me how to know this the way you do.”
Submit your mind to the mind of Christ.
When you get a real download of revelation knowledge, and you see your situation from God’s point of view, it is like climbing up to a higher place where the air is clean, and things make sense. “That’s a higher rock worth climbing.”

Declaration: Today, when I feel overwhelmed, I will call on Jesus to show me how He sees my situation and ask Him to lead me to a higher place.

Job 5:26 (NKJV): You shall come to the grave at a full age, as a sheaf of grain ripens in its season.

GOD’S PROMISES ARE YES, AND AMEN

Isaiah 61:7-8 (NIV) 7Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. 8“For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness, I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.

God sees our lives from the end to the beginning. He is standing at the finish line, cheering us on and ordering our footsteps. God is so faithful to see things to the very end, and where we don’t see a way, He does and knows the way. God is a covenant-keeping God, and we can rest in that assurance.

Ephesians 1:3-6 (BSB) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms. 4 For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love, 5 He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved One.

God loves to use creative things here on earth to draw illustrations and give us a visual picture, such as the sheaves of grain in Job chapter 5. There is a revelation in the word of God, and we must search it out.

Declaration: God is faithful and true, and as we are on this journey, He will carry us through unto completion.

STUMBLE, WALK, RUN!

For most of us, not only does the act of moving forward look like a train wreck, the circumstances which we are stumbling through are even worse. It’s hard to believe God is happy with you when you are stumbling along in a place that does not honor or glorify Him.

Years ago, I was in the trash dumps of Matamoros, Mexico. It is the ugliest, most despicable environment I have ever witnessed. Inside this disgusting arena of waste and hopelessness were hundreds of beautiful families with thousands of kids living in slavery to the drug cartels. They owed money and to pay off their debt, the family dug in the trash for anything worthwhile to pay their note.

During one truly brutal summer day, I was handing out food and water to a long line of desperate people when I saw something that changed my life forever. I saw Heaven invade Earth. I saw the face of the Father. 

A group of people started to cheer and clap. I turned and saw a baby boy, filthy, with no shoes or shirt on, taking his first steps.

What captured my attention was not the baby, but his daddy. This young father was so excited that he began to celebrate and applaud, and when he did, everyone else joined in. That’s what your Daddy God does for you when you decide to move forward. He is pleased even if you stumble and fall. He’s proud of your effort, even in the mess of your circumstances.

Declaration: Today, I will step out and chase after my upgrade! My Father in Heaven is ready to celebrate my obedience.

Deuteronomy 5:24 (NKJV): And you said: ‘Surely the Lord our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man, yet he still lives.

MYSTERY POWER OF GOD

Revelation 10:7-8 (NIV) But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.” 8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more…”

Body of Christ, who has an ear to hear and a heart to perceive what the Spirit is saying to the church? We have crossed over a line, and God has end-time prophesy and miracles yet to be performed. This is the Last-Days mission, and do we have a taste in our mouths or an appetite for this huge End-Time move of God? There are extraordinary exploits God wants to perform in the United States.

Habakkuk 2:14 (NKJV): For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

There’s a whole generation that is being lost to Satan, and God wants them back. He wants to redeem what the enemy has stolen, all the witchcraft that has taken over cities, to put an end to drug addictions and any addiction, and end to the abuse and destruction of our children.

Declaration: I declare that the battle has already been won. We will recover what has been stolen, and a generation will turn back to God.

WORTH FIGHTING FOR

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

Deuteronomy 5:23 (NKJV) “So it was, when you heard the voice from the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, that you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes and your elders.” 

WORTH FIGHTING FOR

Let’s talk about things worth fighting for. While there are plenty of good things in this life, not everything is of God. People confuse the two and satan loves that. If he can keep you busy doing good things, you lose focus on what God wants you to do for the Kingdom. That is: fight to know Him better and find His perfect purpose for your life.

Is it good to help with the PTA at your child’s school or coach their soccer team? Yes, but if God’s not in it, limit your time there. Is it good to put in extra hours at the office, work out, hang out with friends, keep an immaculate house, cook gourmet meals? Yes, but unless it’s helping you with your walk, it’s not the BEST.

Mary, the sister of Lazarus, knew what was best. While Martha was pouring drinks, Mary was drinking in the presence of the King of Kings.

Luke 10:40-42 (NKJV) 40But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” 41And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Declaration: Today, I will be bold and reach for the greatness Jesus is calling me toward. I will let go of the “good things” and grab hold of the God things!
