WHAT IS GRACE?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

Romans 5:2 (NKJV): Through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

WHAT IS GRACE?

Ephesians 4:7- 10 (NASB) 7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 Therefore it says, “When He ascended on high, He led captive the captives, And He gave gifts to people.” 9 (Now this expression, “He ascended,” what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.)

Many do not know the true meaning of the “Grace of God.” Some people even think of it as the “greasy grace.” Their definition of greasy grace is indulging in every kind of debauchery this world has to offer. They are unrepentant, and their flesh knows no bounds, and they think they are free from God’s wrath.

Hebrews 4:15-16 (NASB) 15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.

The good news is there is help through the grace of God, which is the power of God to deliver and set a person free and put them on the road to eternal life.  God’s grace empowers a person to no longer desire things that are not pleasing to God.

Declaration: I will honor God’s grace because King Jesus shed His blood on the cross and made that grace available for me, and I will be free indeed.

WALK IN LOVE

Ephesians 5:1 (NKJV) Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

WALK IN LOVE

Ephesians 5:2 (NKJV) And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Agape love is a powerful weapon in the hands of a believer. It is the love spoken about in the Bible. It is pure love that the unsaved world will take note of and know we are Children of God. We are to walk as God walked when He was on this Earth.

2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (NKJV) 14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other, the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

God desires that all be saved, come to that knowledge of Him, and have everlasting life. Many people reject the Lord and choose the world and darkness. Some are attached to their possessions; others think this is all there is to this life. 

You can’t truly love other people until you understand that God loves you. The greater your revelation of how God loves you, the greater your capacity to demonstrate His love to others.  

Romans 1:20 (NKJV) For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. 

Declaration: I will say yes to Jesus’ will and yes to His way. Only those who follow Jesus can have real peace and joy.

Mark 4:30 (NKJV): Then He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it?”

TASTE & SEE

Like John at the Last Supper, people who live their lives with their heads on the chest of the Lord, in rhythm with the heart of God, are people with great revelation. People who are after revelation are bold, childlike, and prepared to go wherever He sends them. Now, revelation doesn’t just say, “It’s out there!” Revelation says, “Go get it!” A revelation of the Word of God is not supposed to be the endgame of our walk. It is merely the beginning.

We’ve all been there. We’re reading the Word, and suddenly, the Lord breathes upon the scriptures, and they come alive for us! We have a new understanding of God or our next step in the journey. The same thing happens with nature or the words of a song or sermon. All of a sudden, God is talking just to you!

Something clicks within your soul. It moves down to your spirit, and you “get it.” Supernatural revelation! Now, revelation is not given just to add another wrinkle to our brain. God doesn’t care if you know about Him.

What He wants is for us to know Him through personal experience. So revelation is an invitation to step into what God says can be. He invites you to take a step forward in His great plan for you. Revelation is the key to unlocking barriers so you can move forward in life and relationship with Him.

Declaration: I will taste and see that the Lord is good. I will experience the Kingdom of God here on earth.

Ephesians 4:29 (NKJV): Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

WHAT DO YOU TALK ABOUT?

While my son, Ben, was in high school, he took a job at a grocery store. I started to get worried when Ben never had any money despite putting in long hours and frequent shifts. What was happening to his paycheck? Was the company cheating him? Down to the store we went, ready to demand answers. Prepared for a heated discussion or worse, I asked his manager why Ben didn’t ever have any money in his paycheck despite all his work. I wasn’t prepared for the answer.

“See that old woman?” the manager said, pointing to a gray-haired woman at the checkout. “She gets her Social Security check on the fifth. She gets the food she needs for the month and if it totals more than she has, your son pays the difference.” Leanna and I were stunned. 

“But that doesn’t account for nearly his whole check,” I countered, not satisfied. “Ben doesn’t pay for just her. He does it for all the elderly people who come through.” This man was speechless. Proud. Humbled. Grateful – and yes, unable to get any sound past the lump in my throat. When she could finally speak, Leanna looked at me and said, “Now, where did he learn that?” 

My kids don’t talk about the toys they never had or the places we were never able to take them. They talk about the people we helped and the miracles we witnessed by just looking after the outcasts of this hard life here on planet Earth. Jesus’ sacrifice of His life for me and you is enough. We don’t have to work for it or earn it. We just have to accept it. Let’s remember that with God, enough truly is enough.

Declaration: I will lay down my life for others as Jesus laid down His life for me.

GROW AND MATURE

Mark 4:28 (NKJV) For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. GROW AND MATURE

Well, hello, My Friends! One of the things the Lord wants for us is to grow up spiritually. We need to aspire to become like King Jesus in character and nature. This scripture highlights an interesting fact: “For the earth yields crops by itself…” If you put a seed in the earth, it has everything needed to give that seed life and cause it to grow to maturity. Likewise, when we plant ourselves into Jesus, also called the Word, He supplies ALL we need to grow and mature.

Hebrews 5:12-14 (NKJV) 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

It is your responsibility to become a mature believer in Christ. He gives you all you need. He gives you strength when you need it; He pours out His love and compassion when you need salvation, healing, or deliverance. He sent the Holy Spirit as your Comforter and Teacher. His words give you wisdom and understanding in all situations. Use your authority against the devil; Holy Spirit gave it to you! He made you the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath!

Declaration: I choose to exercise myself in the Word of Righteousness. I choose to mature in Christ. I choose to put the principles of God first in my life.

Ephesians 4:27 (NKJV): Nor give place to the devil.

DEVIL, BE GONE!

Hello, My Friends! The devil, that Cosmic Punk, loves to cause chaos for the Children of God. When you go about your Father’s business, you find unplanned distractions. That is not your ADD; it is the devil messing with you.

1 Peter 5:5-8 (NKJV) 5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Being a Kingdom person and in the Spirit, in a dangerous day, requires you to watch for the traps of the enemy. You know that the enemy won’t ever stop trying to keep you away from King Jesus. You need to remember that Jesus is coming back soon!

In 2024, God is judging from His throne, and to those who have passed the test and have been found faithful and loyal, he is handing out supernatural blessings with commands, permissions, and upgraded authority for the time to come.

Stay vigilant and keep your eyes on God. Remember, when you see a trap by that Cosmic Punk, look at it and say, “Devil, be gone!”

Declaration: I will keep my eyes to heaven and stay watchful for the devil’s traps. I know King Jesus will return soon, and I will remain faithful and loyal because I know God has my back.

JESUS IS SPEAKING

Well, hello, My Friends. May grace and peace be with you. I want you to take a moment and put yourself in the place of the Samaritan woman who is having this conversation with a male Jew at a well. Today, we would ask, “Am I on Candid Camera?” “Are you filming this for YouTube?” “Am I being Punked?”

In this Dispensation of Grace, the Lord speaks prophetically to us in many ways. Jesus gives a word of knowledge, wisdom, and tongues and interprets tongues, dreams, visions, and prophets. The Lord is a God Who loves to talk with His people. Be one who hears! 2024, the Year of the Ear, 24 – new ear for the new year, to hear what the Lord says. We put our ear to His heart and hear the Father’s heart for us.

Jeremiah 25:4 (NKJV) And the Lord has sent to you all His servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, but you have not listened nor inclined your ear to hear.

Hosea 12:10 (NKJV): “I have also spoken by the prophets, And have multiplied visions; I have given symbols through the witness of the prophets.”

Act 2:17 (NKJV): ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.

Declaration: When God speaks, I will hear. I have an ear to hear what the Lord has to say. I open my heart to allow the Lord to talk to me in any way He desires.

Mark 4:25 (NKJV): “For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”

THINGS THAT LAST

Who knew there was no money in giving away truckloads of food and feeding the homeless? I’m living proof that driving hundreds of miles to preach the Good News to inmates in prisons throughout Texas is not a viable route to the Fortune 500. It is, however, a direct line to the heart of God.

“Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” – James 1:27 NKJV

While I remember the shame of my family having so little and feeling like a lousy provider for giving our resources away to others, my kids and God don’t see it that way. A real man doesn’t push others down. He pulls them up—out of the despair of hunger, loneliness, anger and destructive behavior. A real man doesn’t shame people for being poor, abandoned or imprisoned. He gives them hope and offers them an identity as a child of the one true King—God the Father.

Friends, be sure you’re building on the foundation that King Jesus laid with things that last—gold, silver, and precious stones. We will not be counted among those who stored up for themselves earthly treasures that end up being burned up with the wood, hay, and stubble in eternity.

Declaration: The Father has given good gifts to me. I will build with the things that last, and I will not put my trust or hope in the fleeting treasures of the earth. In Jesus’ name, amen!

SPIRIT & TRUTH

I travel a lot. Having orphanages on three continents, I’m on a plane almost every month. One thing I can tell you, I always know when we’re over U.S. airspace. I know it sounds crazy, but over the past few years, I get a sick feeling in my gut coming home to America. The atmosphere is ripe — anger, bitterness, violence –– I can literally feel it 2,000 feet up.

Turning on the news or looking at Facebook, it seems the wheels are coming off our society. America has seen some tumultuous times, but what we’re experiencing today has a truly ugly vibe. We can choose to let the days ahead overwhelm us, or we can instead overcome evil with the goodness of God.

God Almighty expects us to be a people of hope and promise. The only way we can do that is through a vibrant walk with He, who is the way, the truth, and the life. We are just passing through this earthly life; we belong to heaven and all that the Kingdom of God entails. As spiritual beings, we are doorways to the Spirit of the Living God being made manifest here on earth. As sons, we have the privilege of relationship with the Holy Spirit and intimacy with the Father!

Declaration: I will lift my head and be lifted as a gate and a doorway in the Kingdom of God! He is the King of Glory, the Lord strong and mighty in battle! In Jesus’ name, amen!

HEART GUARD

I think there are unavoidable times in life when we are thunderstruck by the introduction of dramatic dread. Something hits us that isn’t on our radar and traumatizes us into a period of time where we are vulnerable to making bad decisions—even making things worse. This is why you need a tribe. A supernatural family of believers that are full of faith and the Holy Spirit. This is why you need a community of Christians.

The Bible says to not forsake the assembly of the brethren. You don’t go to church so that God loves you more. You intentionally connect with the body of Christ so that you can keep loving God when you otherwise would be crazy. Sometimes we desperately need “healthy” hearted people to stand with us and declare the goodness of God in the Land of the Living.

You don’t want your life altered forever or even ended because of the dramatic trauma that comes with bad things. The goodness of God will help you overcome that and I hope and pray that you are surrounded by Christians who have an agenda for goodness and the love of God towards you. Guarding your heart is essential, and the people you do life with are a part of the equation.

Declaration: The Word tells me to not be deceived, evil company corrupts good habits. I will be intentional with those I share my heart and my life with. The Lord expects me to be a good steward of my heart because it is where He rules and reigns from within my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
