LOVE AND BE LOVED
You are My great masterpiece. I created you to reflect My love, My light and My abundant life to a lost and dying world. Accept these gifts. They increase only when you give them away.
LOVE AND BE LOVEDYou are the beloved. That’s your role and place. Above everything else, you were made to be loved.
Some of you really suck at that. You have every reason in the world why God can’t love you. He commands you to love Him so you can accept the invitation for Him to love you. That’s your purpose. That’s where you belong.
Whatever issue you may have, God is not your issue. Let me say that again – God is not your issue. It’s not the Son who’s your issue, it’s not the Father or the Holy Spirit. We are the beloved.
When you understand that and begin to walk in that great love, that’s alignment. That’s positioning. That’s finding your place – the place He created for you before you were ever formed in the womb of your mother.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. – Ephesians 2:10
His whole plan and purpose is for you to walk in the position where you are the beloved. That’s His invitation to you. Get into alignment for your assignment. Love and be loved.

A ROCK AND A RIVER
I bless pursuit! When you dive deeper and run faster after revelation of Me and My Kingdom, I will pour blessings out over your life. Stand fast in the waves and drink in the wisdom and understanding I have reserved for you.
A ROCK AND A RIVERToday, I want to start off with this basic theory: when it comes to the Kingdom, you’re supposed to have theories and be a little bit weird. Because you and I are always searching for understanding and wisdom, our theories are not the devil.
When I start presenting my theory on time and timelines, there’s going to be people who say, “Well that’s just a theory. He can’t prove that. I have a different theory.”
Here’s what I say to that: so what? Listen, you don’t have to draw a line in the sand and say, “If your theory is not my theory then we have to be at war with each other.” As a matter of fact, within your walk, there should be two different parts of your understanding that develop your faith.
Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. – 1 Peter 2:4-5
First, you and I are called living stones in the Temple of God. Then, in 1 Corinthians 12:12, we are called members of the Body of Christ. There’s a big difference between being a living stone in a temple of the Holy Spirit and being a member of the Spirit-filled body.
Being living stones in the Temple is a picture of being joined fitly together. It means there are some things we do not budge on. We go, “Nope. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to cross that line. That thing is precious to me and I’m not going to allow any devil from hell to come in and steal it from me.”
Being part of the body means you’re always growing, changing and connecting. There’s a flow to it because revelation comes in waves. This is all about being alive, striving and going after things. This is where theories are born.
You need both of these things to be an overcomer in the Kingdom, and time is a topic we’re going to tear apart so be prepared to be a rock and a river!

AS UNTO THE LORD
Thank you for the cup of cold water when I was thirsty. I appreciated the smile you offered and the home you opened to Me. The food you gave Me brought hope and the shoes from your feet a path. I Am the least of these.
AS UNTO THE LORDJudgment is a sobering topic, especially when it comes to the Bible and you realize that judgment is coming to all of us.
The Great White Throne Judgment is a test of holiness and there is only One who is holy and His name is Jesus. If you have put your hope in the Lord Jesus Christ, know that Jesus passed that test for you. He has put your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life as if you passed the test.
The second test, The Judgment Seat of Christ, is a test of how you served. This is where you are rewarded.
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” – Hebrews 11:6
The understanding of being rewarded is faith-based because it’s the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. Amen. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3 that Jesus Christ is the One who laid the foundation and you’re building on top of that foundation He’s given you.
“But Pastor Troy, I don’t know anything about a foundation. What foundation?” Well, how about the fact that you’re saved? That’s the foundation of how you live the rest of your life. From there, you do works that introduce people to the Kingdom and that is what you get rewarded for – doing things for others as unto the Lord.
So, will your works die with you or are you serving in a way that doesn’t come from Texas but it comes from heaven? Serve with love and reflect the Father and you’ll find your rewards stored up for you in heaven.

LORD OF THE HARVEST: Stewardship over Ownership
Pastor Troy Brewer, OpenDoor Church, Oct. 10, 2021
Proverbs 19:15 – Laziness will cast a man into a deep sleep and idle man will suffer hunger.
One translation says, “An idle man will not see the harvest.”
One of the worst things that can be said about anybody in the Kingdom is that you’re idle/
No passion, no ability to overcome, no vision, no motivation—just comfort. An ability to see the chance to honor the King and His Kingdom ….
Kingdom people are not like that.
In the 1970s, there was a boy in east Sussex, England named Billy Broad. Who would not do his school work and his school teacher sent a note home to his parents with one sentence.
Billy is idle. BILLY IDOL was idle. He was unmotivated. He was a crude dude in a rude mood and he didn’t feel like doing any school work.
One of the worst things that can be said about you is that you’re idle. You refuse to move forward. There is no progression in your life.
It’s a curse to be idle and the church is saturated with people who will not get up and move forward. And like the curse that was put on Ruben, they will never progress.
Genesis 49:4 – Unstable as water, you shall not excel
THE CURSE WAS NOT THAT HE WAS GOING TO GO BACKWARD. THE CURSE WAS THAT FROM THAT POINT, HE WOULD NEVER GO FORWARD.
The sin of idleness is a big theme throughout the Bible. In the Word, there are two fields that God commands us to never be idle in:
The Battlefield and the Harvest Field
The battlefield is the first one. It was BECAUSE of the sin of idleness that spun David off into a nightmare that would affect him for the rest of his life.
2 Samuel 11:1 – It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel;
For the rest of your life, you’re going to be a warrior. Christians do not retire from being warriors.
There’s not a one of us in this room that’s ever gonna stop being a warrior because there is not a one of us in this room that’s ever gonna stop being a winner.
Always the warrior – Always the winner.
Fight for your freedom, your marriage, the supernatural presence of God. Fight for your peace, your sanity and the impact you make in the lives of others around you.
The other field that God commands you to never give up in—to remain vigilant and proactive in is
The Harvest Field
Proverbs 10:5 – He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
You will never live and honorable life of impact if you do not fight for the harvest field.
If you are upset because a lot of true Christians are selflessly and fearlessly demonstrating redemption and the goodness of God, you can fear and tremble over the approval of men in your quarantine crate. The rest of us will will the kingdom stuff and see the harvest!
This is the new normal!
Genesis 8:22 – “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”
In other words, seedtime and harvest —“sowing and reaping”—are as unchangeable and predictable as day and night.
Engagement, work, the boldness to intervene. Accepting the permissions and the commands of the King. Living life forward… these air themes for the harvest.
You can never take it for granted that a harvest is just going to happen. You have to be willing to work towards and participate in the supernatural.
There are three main parts to bringing in a harvest for the Lord:
1. Partnering with God through seasons
2. God is a great rewarder
3. It’s all about multiplication
LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING THAT WILL MOTIVATE YOU TO DO BETTER, REACH FURTHER, GO HIGHER, ADVANCE, CONQUER AND DOWNRIGHT BE A WINNER IN ALL THINGS OF YOUR LIFE.
GET A REVELATION OF STEWARDSHIP OVER OWNERSHIP
FRESH FROM THE BREWER By Troy Brewer
THE OWNER OF THE HOUSE
Back in 2009 in Marbella, Spain, a group of burglar punks broke into a mansion in a very ritzy neighborhood behind a gated community. After beginning to ransack everything they found the Mama of the house hiding and terrified. She tried to get away from them but they caught her, tied her up and began taunting her like punks that break into houses do. Things were excavating from really bad to extremely bad when all of the sudden, they dropped everything and ran for their lives.
They didn’t take a single possession. They just ran out as fast as they could and nobody has seen them since.
The game changer was not a big dog or the arrival of the SWAT team. They had come across a family picture on the mantel and a revelation dawned on them. The owner of the house they were trashing and the husband of the wife they had tied up and terrified was Dolf Lundgren.
Dolf Lungren, 6 foot five, muscled up actor and pretty much world famous genius. Yes, that Dolf Lungren. He claims that the rumors of his I.Q. being north of 160 are exaggerated. His degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering and the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship he received to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology suggest he’s just being modest. Plus, he speaks seven languages, though “only” three fluently.
A disciple of Kyokushin karate, Lundgren won the European championships in both 1980 and 1981 before taking down the Australian championship in 1982. Yes, that Dolf Lungren.
They guy who nearly killed Sylvester Stallone in the making of a movie. Yes, that Dolf Lundgren.
During filming, after Stallone had the idea to stop faking it and fight for real for just 15 seconds or so of film footage, Stallone got pounded so hard, it put him in the hospital.
In a 2006 interview, Stallone revealed that he was at a London hospital for nine days with life-threatening injuries to his heart. The insurance company backing the movie didn’t want to pay Stallone’s claim because they said the injury was more in line with a head-on car crash. “I said, ‘Well, have you seen Dolph Lundgren? That’s a truck. That’s a steering wheel. That’s a head-on collision,'” Stallone told Entertainment Weekly. “They honored the insurance claim.”
Once they decided they understood who owned the house they got a revelation that it wasn’t OK to ransack it.
One of the key principles of my life is the principle of stewardship over ownership. The revelation that I really don’t own anything but that God has trusted me to steward with what He actually owns. Its huge. It keep me focused and sometimes it even keeps me from doing really stupid things.
I don’t own my family or my marriage, I am just a steward. A guy who has been trusted with such an awesome gift. when I stop to consider that God Almighty actually owns all things, my life, my ministry, my marriage, my body, my mind…I get a whole new revelation of how I am supposed to take care of things instead of ransack it.
We all know what a King is and when we hear the term King of Kings that makes sense to most of us. But have you considered the term Lord of Lords? A Lord is an owner of land that other people are on. Lord of Lords means the One who owns everything.
As a Pastor of a church I know that I don’t own anything there except the responsibility to make sure His house looks more like heaven than it looks like hell. Someday I will hand it back to Him and there had better be a good return for His investment.
But I want you to know that it is that way in all things we have our hands on. We were all born making a fist and we all die with our hands relaxed and open, with nothing in it to take with us. Who is the Owner of the life you and I are now Living? Jesus Christ, Yes that Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:16 – And He has a name written on His robe and on His thigh: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
What do you mean when you say God owns my money, He owns my life, my marriage, my thinking, etc. How can He?
When we say that God owns everything, we are acknowledging His rights as creator in accordance with the Scriptures. The Bible says,
Psalms 24:1 – “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it”
Whatever we have has come from the Lord’s hand, and only indirectly by our earning it (1 Chronicles 29:14).
Our LIFE belongs to us in the same way that a child’s bedroom belongs to the child. The room actually belongs to the parent, but the child is given temporary, accountable charge over it.
TEMPORARY ACCOUNTABLE CHARGE
This is especially the case for Christians, who have been bought at the price of Jesus’ death (1 Corinthians 6:20). Our lives and all our stuff is utterly at the disposal of the God who bought us.
THE VINEYARD BELONGS TO THE LORD
THE WORKERS BELONG TO THE LORD
THE HARVEST BELONGS TO THE LORD
LET US HUMBLE OURSELVES UNDER THE INCREDIBLE TRUTH THAT OUR LIVES DO NOT BELONG TO US.
WHEN WE SUBMIT TO JESUS WE ARE MERELY ALLOWING THE OWNER OF THE CAR TO HAVE THE STEERING WHEEL.

THE TONE YOU SET
Why do you desire praise? Because you are made in My image and I desire your praises. I deserve your praises. Sing to me with your actions, your words and your heart. I Am your God and you are My people.
THE TONE YOU SETMusic is powerful. While we know that God’s voice brought the universe into being, I would challenge that He didn’t so much speak it into existence as He sang it into existence. Kind of like at the end of The Lord of the Rings trilogy when Aragorn is crowned King and sings hope and life into Gondor and it’s people. Jesus is extravagant that way.
The devil knows how powerful music is. He used to sing the praises of God Almighty before He decided he wanted the power that came along with those hymns. That’s why he’s determined to own the music industry. He knows the power and influence of music and he’s going to use it keep people from ever knowing God. He’s doing a pretty good job at it too.
So, how do you and I compete with the former choir master of Heaven? With our lives.
If you’re redeemed, the song of your life needs to be all about redemption, People should experience Jesus’ redeeming power just by the tone you set when you walk in the room. As a drop-dead, sold-out Jesus freak, you need to set a standard. You’re not going to be a part of a bunch of worldly junk because you’ve overcome that by the blood of the Lamb and the power of your testimony.
“He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear and will trust in the LORD.” – Psalms 40:3
“O sing to the LORD a new song, for He has done wonderful things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.” – Psalm 98:1
“Sing to the LORD a new song, sing His praise from the end of the earth! You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and those who dwell on them.” – Isaiah 42:10
“And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.” – Revelation 5:9
The tone you set should be all about God’s goodness. It should be all about hope and there being an answer – and Jesus is His name. Father God, Sir, we come to you right now and we declare Your goodness over our lives. Receive our praise!

DINNER AND A SHOW
I Am a God who never sleeps, I don’t take breaks. I am continuously working in and through you when you let Me. Even when you don’t understand My plan, I still have one. Trust Me.
DINNER AND A SHOWThere should be some babies in your spirit that you haven’t seen yet but you know you’re going to see because you’re “expecting.” It’s not about expecting the performance of God – that God has to jump through your hoops. It’s about expectancy born from the heart of God.
What’s real my friends is you’re not going to be able to map out His hand, but you can map out His heart. You’re not going to be able to figure out everything that God’s going to do and the timing of how He’s going to do it.
If you set up a theology based on all that, you’re going to be disappointed and then you’re going to be mad because you’ll think God failed to perform the way you expected He should.
Understand this: You don’t demand God perform for you. There were people in the Bible who did that – followed Jesus for dinner and a show – and he sent them packing.
Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. – John 6:53-54
Jesus offended a large portion of the people following Him and He did it on purpose. He told them that to continue following Him, they’d have to become cannibals! Why? Because their faith was only based on His performance, not His heart so they missed the true meaning of this prophetic word. John says in verse 66 that “many turned back and walked with Him no more.”
So, your expectancy is not based upon the performance of God. It’s based upon the heart of God. There are a lot of times I don’t know what God is going to do, but I know He’s going to do something awesome because I know Him. Many theological, philosophical people try to over-analyze this. It’s quite simple: God is good, satan is bad – all the time.

HERE’S TO EVEN BETTER NEWS!
You are a reflection of Me – of My generosity, My kindness, My compassion and My love. The family resemblance is clear on your face. You’ve got your Father’s heart.
HERE’S EVEN BETTER NEWS!In case you missed it, the Bible says there will be a test on your life. It’s a test of holiness and you can never pass. Yup. No matter how hard you study, no matter how good a student you are, you cannot pass this test.
Before you are overcome with panic wondering why God has set you up to fail, know this: He’s set you up for an A+.
“But Pastor Troy. If I can’s pass but God has set me up for the top score, that doesn’t make any sense. You’ve lost your mind!” My friend, I am sober as a judge when I tell you the Lord Jesus Christ has given you the cheat sheet. Heck, the Lord Jesus Christ IS the cheat sheet!
If you give your heart to King Jesus, He has aced that test for you. The day you gave your heart to Him, He took your test, gave you His A+ score and marked that down in Heaven’s grade book. That’s called the Good News.
Here’s even better news: now you can serve others! When you stand before the Lord, you will be judged on how well you served not so Jesus can scold you or punish you, but so He can reward you for all the awesome ways you brought the Kingdom of Heaven to earth.
When this judgment comes, it will be a good day and not a bad day. He’s going to fit you with some crowns and you’ll see exactly what the King of Kings thinks of you. You’re His hands, His feet, His voice and He is proud of you.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. – Galatians 6:9

ARE YOU AN OPEN DOOR?
My plan for you is so life-giving! I want to share it with you so you can fulfill every step of your destiny. Open the door to your dreams and desires and let My plan become manifest in your life. Invite Me in.
ARE YOU AN OPEN DOOR?If you’re going to be a friend of God, the bride of Christ and the temple of the Holy Spirit, you’re going to have to get vulnerable. You’re going to have to get intimate with the Trinity of God and when you do, a kind of romance starts to form.
That comes from the Kingdom. If you’re going to get the secrets of God that catapult you from zero to hero – that define your identity and let you walk in the things the Lord has promised you – you need get into a secret place with Him.
You start conforming your life to Him. It’s being in the Word and in communication with Him so you know His character and His heart. That’s what you conform your own image to. And the measure that you conform your life to His determines the deepness of relationship with Him.
In short, the depth of your relationship with Him determines the depth of your intimacy with Him. The depth of your intimacy with Him determines the secrets that are revealed to you, and let me tell you – the Good Lord has some amazing secrets He wants to let you in on.
But God is also a gentleman. He only goes where He is invited and only enters a door that is open to Him. Are you an open door? If you are and you want to find your identity, purpose and destiny to make a great big impact on this world, you need to conform your life to Jesus’ heart.
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ – Jeremiah 33:3
This is how you know you’re in the deep end with King Jesus: He tells you to call to Him – to invite Him into your life. He promises He will answer you and tell you secrets you didn’t know before you got the guts to send that invitation.
So, what are you waiting for? Send that invitation, open the door and let God in on whatever area of your life you’ve been holding back. He’s got answers to your questions, I promise you that.

HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE BLESSED?
While I live in eternity and Am not subject to time, you are. Time is a safety net I use to keep you from being overwhelmed with My enormity and complexity. Invite Me into your time – past, present and future. I will not only accept, I will bless you.
HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE BLESSED?There’s a word that gets thrown around in church a lot that people don’t understand. Oh, they smile and act like they know what it means, but they don’t. Most pastors don’t have a clue so I’ll make it simple for you all today: Whenever you intentionally go after the Kingdom, that’s called consecration.
In the book of Exodus, Moses commanded the children of Israel to get themselves consecrated.
“…Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD…that He may bestow upon you a blessing this day.” – Exodus 32:29
When you seek after God in an incredible way, there are things God doesn’t teach you because He gives them to you. So much of the power of God is not taught, it’s caught.
You have to be at the right place at the right time. You have to accept the appointment. You meet God at a certain time in a certain place and there’s a certain conversation you’re going to have. He’s going to give you a download or an upgrade just because you consecrated yourself to being obedient.
What do you need to get purposeful about? Your marriage or family relationships? Do you need to get consecrated over your finances, business or ministry? Whatever it is, you need to get serious about it and pursue the Kingdom until God bestows – or gives – you a blessing over that thing.
My friend, standing still is going backward. I’ve told you many, many times that comfort kills because it does! It kills hopes, dreams, faith, and upgrade because you were not made to be comfortable. You were made to be consecrated.
You were designed to be an overcomer and a warrior, and that takes guts. It takes grit and action. Do you have what it takes to be blessed?
