THE EXPERIENCE OF JESUS
You have a choice to love Me, just as Judas did. He was not locked into his fate. That’s why I gave him the money bag knowing he was a thief. He had the power to choose. So do you. Choose Me.
THE EXPERIENCE OF JESUSWhat are the things you are absolutely rock solid in because you have experienced God in those places and you know His power? You know, the times He’s showed up in your life and you know His majesty by personal experience.
You know what that is? That’s being a person of revelation who is tapped into testimony.
Know this: your testimony is not what you did before you were saved. That’s your history. Now that you’re on this side of the cross, you don’t live according to your history.
On this side of the cross, you live according to your destiny. Your testimony is who Jesus is to you – how He has shown up and how you have known Him through personal experience. Because Jesus is ultimately personal, this is a big deal.
You see, Jesus doesn’t just show up for you the same way He does for me. Oh, no, no, no! He knows you and I are different cats. He shows up for you in ways that He knows will speak to you. He shows up in ways that will blow your mind.
Jesus is personal because He’s a bridegroom and He’s madly in love with His bride – you. He will reveal amazing parts of His nature to you when you treat Him like a bride treats a groom and become madly in love with Him.
Consider your testimony. Think about how your Bridegroom has shown up for you because He has. This should change some things in your thinking. It should give you a foundation, a stability knowing you have experienced true love. Can you see it?
If not, let yourself fall in love with Jesus. Prepare yourself like a bride would for her groom. Tell Him everything. Give Him full access to your fears and failures, your hopes and dreams. The experience of Jesus begins today.
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. – Romans 5:5

WHEN THE WIND BLOWS
I Am always speaking to you. Do you recognize My voice? When you know Me, you will trust Me. You will not only recognize My voice but My face and My hand at work. Do not be deceived.
WHEN THE WIND BLOWSAny time God builds anything, He doesn’t look at the roof. No, sir. He looks at the foundation. He’s all about the foundation. Anything that is built – like trust – God Almighty is all about the part you can’t see and I love that.
There’s a great big part of my walk that is foundational. It’s based on truths I will not budge on. You will never get me to say God is mad at you or that He sends judgment in the form of a hurricane or a suicide bomber. God is good and He loves us. He does not punish or squash us like a bug on a windshield.
Why am I so steadfast on these things? Because my house – my relationship with Jesus – depends on it.
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.” – Matthew 7:24-25
Standing on the rock – the foundation – of who Jesus says He is and who I know He has been to me makes me a wise guy! My friends, I refuse to get caught up in foolish thoughts or debates of any kind. That is not my sandbox. That’s the sandbox of the media, the socialists and the religious. Cats play in that sandbox.
Is this you? Are you playing in the sandbox of the world, unsure of who Jesus is to you? Or do you have foundational beliefs about Jesus that you refuse to budge on no matter what the haters say? If you don’t, you’re missing it. You’re being deceived.
Without a strong foundation, your house will crumble when the winds of this world blow. Make no mistake, the wind is already picking up. What is your faith built on?

THE PLACE OF OUR DWELLING
I saw you in your distress and I loved you. I saw you at your best and I loved you. You are My special love and I will not spend eternity without you. I have paid the price for your life. I Am yours and you, beloved, are Mine.
THE PLACE OF OUR DWELLING“We love Him because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:9
Through this revelation, John is saying that we, the Church, need to return to a lifestyle of being loved. We need to act like a bride – a beloved bride.
This verse is the beginning of a love story. It’s the story of a Bridegroom who chooses His beloved. He leaves His house, travels her home and offers her all that He has.
If she accepts His gift, what the Jews call “the bride price,” He goes back to His home and builds a house that the two of them will live in. It is the place of their dwelling – a place of relationship, intimacy and joy.
That’s what Jesus did for us. He came to this earth and offered you and I all that He had – His very life and eternal inheritance. When we, like so many others before us, accept this gift, we can be assured He is where He said He would be doing what He said He would do.
“In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” – John 14:2
My friends, our Bridegroom Jesus has been building your mansion for 2,000 years. He hasn’t forgotten us. On the contrary, that mansion is so personal, so individual to each of us, that He’s putting on the final details.
He’s coming back. Are you prepared? Are you dressed and ready, watching day and night for His return because He’s coming soon. He’s coming for His bride. He’s coming for you.

UPGRADE OF BAPTISM
I Am so proud of you. You do not hide your pain and problems from Me. Your past is just that – in the past. I Am your identity, purpose and destiny. Follow Me.
UPGRADE OF BAPTISMBaptism is God’s prophetic act to show you, and the world, what He has freed you from. Take those addictions and attitudes that have chained you into that water and come up shouting, “I am free from that” because you are.
Another crazy cool thing about the act of baptism is this: the power of the Holy Spirit has been initiated in your life after you leave that junk in the water.
I believe that after baptism you can hear God speak like you’ve never heard Him speak before. Maybe you have an issue you need a word from God about. You take Jesus off the back burner, you take it into the water and boom – you hear God speak.
It’s a biblical principle. When Jesus came up out of the water, Heaven opened to Him. The Spirit descended and God spoke. He said what each one of us wants to hear when we’re in front of the throne.
And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love, with you I am well pleased.” – Mark 1-8
That is the upgrade from “well done good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21) and upgrade is what baptism brings.

Supernatural Situational Awareness: Discernment for the Day and Place We Live In

…A dramatic, tragic event takes place where nothing looks the same for that person’s life after it happens.
In the Old Testament, these demonic places are seen as “giants.” Giants must be confronted and slain.
1 Samuel 17:5 – Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”
1 Samuel 17:46 –This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
1 Samuel 17:47 –“Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”
In the New Testament:
The kind of things you can get past are seen as “mountains.”
Faith removes mountains.
But in that same way, a personal can have a personal touch with God that changes everything and nothing looks the same after that.
An encounter or even a personal revelation:
Joshua 5:12 – …And the manna ceased
Acts 10:44 – The spirit fell upon them all (gentiles)
That aha moment with God:
Luke 15:17 (NIV) – “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!'”
When I changed from building a ministry to building a church:
Jeremiah 33:3 –‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
Lord open His eyes:
2 Kings 6:8-23 – Now the king of Syria was making war against Israel; and he consulted with his servants, saying, “My camp will be in such and such a place.” 9 And the man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying, “Beware that you do not pass this place, for the Syrians are coming down there.” 10 Then the king of Israel sent someone to the place of which the man of God had told him. Thus he warned him, and he was watchful there, not just once or twice. 11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was greatly troubled by this thing; and he called his servants and said to them, “Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?” 12 And one of his servants said, “None, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.” 13 So he said, “Go and see where he is, that I may send and get him.” And it was told him, saying, “Surely he is in Dothan.” 14 Therefore he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city. 15 And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 18 So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha. 19 Now Elisha said to them, “This is not the way, nor is this the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek.” But he led them to Samaria. 20 So it was, when they had come to Samaria, that Elisha said, “Lord, open the eyes of these men, that they may see.” And the Lord opened their eyes, and they saw; and there they were, inside Samaria! 21 Now when the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, “My father, shall I kill them? Shall I kill them?” 22 But he answered, “You shall not kill them. Would you kill those whom you have taken captive with your sword and your bow? Set food and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master.” 23 Then he prepared a great feast for them; and after they ate and drank, he sent them away and they went to their master. So the bands of Syrian raiders came no more into the land of Israel.
“Lord Open The King of England’s eyes!” – Last words of William Tyndale
William Tyndale’s final words before the chain around his neck strangled him to death were, “Lord, open the king of England’s eyes.” That dying prayer was answered two years after Tyndale’s death, when King Henry VIII ordered that the Bible of Miles Coverdale was to be used in every parish in the land. The Coverdale Bible was largely based on Tyndale’s work. Then, in 1539, Tyndale’s own edition of the Bible became officially approved for printing.
Revelation 3:18 – I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see

THE DIVINE ROMANCE
Let My love quiet your soul. Only our time together matters. Let the cares of the world melt away as we talk, as we dream and prepare for your glorious future. I rejoice over you for your obedience has made Me glad.
THE DIVINE ROMANCEThat thing going on between you and Jesus – that private conversation you have going on and the promises He’s made that you’re waiting on – that’s called “the divine romance.”
In the first passage of the book of Genesis, we are told God is alone, God is love, yet there was no counterpart for Him. Yes, He is a trinity – three in one – but it’s that One part of God that was looking for a counterpart. He wanted a bride to love and protect.
You need to understand that God Almighty created human beings for this kind of intimacy. How do I know? Because that’s the first thing He did with Adam. He created a bride for him.
God was like, “Let Me just tell you how it is with Me. It’s not good to be alone so I’m going to create a help-meet for you. So, from your rib, and twice as refined from the earth, I’m going to create the perfect helper and you two are going to be something else.”
The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. – Zephaniah 3:17
They literally walked and talked with God in the garden – a picture of the secret place where they could be “quieted” by His love. They had an intimacy with Him like a bride and a groom have. That got the attention of the enemy. If he couldn’t be made in the image of God and be part of God’s family, he would get in-between them.
The lie of the enemy not only separated the first man from the first woman, it separated the man and woman as the bride from their Groom. It was the world’s first act of adultery and it literally destroyed them. It brought death into the world. The romance was over!
Although mankind was separated from God. the Lord had not abandoned us. He had a plan to restore that romance through His Son Jesus Christ. Through Jesus, that relationship has been restored. Are you rekindling that divine romance?

OVERCOME THE WORLD
I’ve told you I will never leave you nor forsake you. I Am coming again. Trust in Me. Wait patiently and make yourself ready. Watch for Me. I will not disappoint you.
OVERCOME THE WORLDWe need to be very sober-minded about the day we are living in. Despite the hell going on in our world, this is not a time for us to freak out. This is not a time for us to see the things that are coming upon this earth and let our hearts fail us for fear. No, Sir!
We need to have a completely different worldview—a completely different spirit about us as drop-dead, sold-out Jesus freaks. Nobody can make that happen for us. You and I just have to be intentional about it. You and I need to steward people into the Kingdom.
With everything going on in the world, there are people crying out to God who have never cried out to God before. They are lost and scared. They notice the way things are going and want to get off the crazy train. You and I can’t help them if we’re on that train feeding into the madness.
We need to show them the door is open and God is saying, “Let’s see who will run to Me.” Sign me up for that! I’m running to King Jesus and I want to lead a bunch of people with me, amen!
What I’m trying to say is it’s important to be watching for the day of the Lord’s return. We can’t be caught up in the mob, what Facebook is saying or watching Fox News all day. We can’t be living like the world lives because we’ll miss it. We’ll miss His return.
“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” – Luke 21 34-36
My friends, He’s at the door. The Bridegroom cometh and He’s going to take those who are looking up and watching for His return to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. You don’t want to miss it because you were too busy in the Marvel universe.
Do you see the signs all around you? Look up. Lift up your head! Watch for His glorious return and fear not! He has overcome the world.

I have surrounded you with precious gifts – people, ideas, skills, and dreams nobody else has. I have also given you a special place in My heart. Only you can fill it. You are My one and only. Am I yours?
THEM FOLKS GET SHOT!There needs to be things you do not budge on whatsoever. You close your heart and you close your mind and you say, “That’s it. Nobody can steal this from me.”
“Pastor Troy, are you telling me there are places where your mind is not open?” Yes! That’s exactly what I’m telling you and for good reason.
I will not entertain any thought that doesn’t say Jesus Christ is madly in love with me. I won’t. It doesn’t matter how much trouble I’m in. It doesn’t matter what’s going on. I will not let myself come to the conclusion that God has to reinvent that thought in me because that was a big process and now I’m guarding it.
Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. – John 10:2
I will not entertain any thought that there’s some other way than Jesus. Sorry, I’m not going there. Jesus is the Way, Jesus is the Truth, and Jesus is the Life. Jesus is the door of the sheep pen and anybody that comes in, them folks get shot. That’s in the Bible—well, that’s the Texas version of it.
There are certain precious things you should guard against a thief coming in and stealing them. Do you lock your doors at night? Is it because you don’t love people on the outside? No, it’s because you love the people on the inside! Nobody is welcome to come in and take the precious things God Almighty has given you and steal those things. Them folks get shot!
People who demand your doors or borders should be open are people who are only accountable to their own selfishness. You should have precious things in your life that the rest of the world does not have. They are God’s personal gifts to you, so protect them.

YOU’RE NO STRANGER
As the Bridegroom, I have gone to prepare a place for My bride. You are that bride. I Am coming again soon to bring you to the mansion I’ve built for you. Are you looking for My return?
YOU’RE NO STRANGERThere’s a big difference between being a servant and being a son. While we’re all servants of God because we do His work on this earth, it’s His great pleasure to make us sons and daughters – joint heirs with His Son, Jesus.
Now if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. – Roams 8:17
One of the many things you and I do all the time is pray like we’re orphans, not heirs. We all know how to pray according to anxiety. I’m guilty of this, too. When we pray from anxiety, we’re not praying from a position of authority. We’re begging like orphans who have no relationship to the Father.
Do you know what? That grieves His heart. It really does! When we do that, we question His goodness toward us.
When you are saved, you have the relationship and right standing to run to the Lord as our Father. I promise you, He will love on you and He will help you. You’re no stranger. You’re family.
