When Rain Is Good

Today. 

Yep. Today. Because it means the air is warming up and we'll soon be at a balmy 45+ degrees within a few days. Yippee. 

Don't get me wrong, I like snow as much as the next person. In theory.

But in reality, it interrupts my life. I have to postpone shopping. I have to arrange for my Outback driving mom to pick me up and take me to work.

NaNoWriMo Lessons

Things I learned on my way to losing NaNo. 

Number 1--It doesn't matter if you win or lose, as long as you play. Okay. Maybe I have to believe that since I've never won NaNo. For me, it is virtually impossible to write 50K in one month. I told myself in the beginning, that I'd be happy to finish at 30K. I ended up with a little over 15K.
