Three Things
Brrrr… It’s cold outside right now. We had a brief window of weird warmness on Friday, but it rained like crazy. Of course now, all that standing rain is ice. :/
Anyway, on to brighter things. As in three brighter things…
Before my youngest goes back to school (today), we hunkered down and got caught up on Fuller House, which was fun.

On Saturday, after I got my words in for the day, we went to the theater to see The Greatest Showman. Wow. Wow. Wow. The artistry–dancing, singing, costumes–...

A Potpourri of Bits
So today’s Bits include a potpourri of topics (gotta jazz up January, somehow) and I’m looking forward to reading your answers…
When/where, during the course of the day, are you most apt to listen to music? If you could rewind to ONE day last year and enjoy it all over again, what would it be and why? If you could be any creature for a day, what would you pick and why? Are you afraid of heights? Something that always makes you smile?Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

Looking Ahead
I hit “send” on Just Plain Murder just before two in the morning. Phew. One more to-do checked off my list…
Woo-hoo!
Of course, there’s another project I’ve got to get into pretty much right away, but that’s okay. Being a contracted writer is a good thing.
Tonight, though, I’m putting everything on hold to have my once-a-year goal setting phone call with my buddy, Lynn. This is when we talk about the goals we met and missed this past year, and the goals we’re shooting for in the coming yea...

A New Read, and a Favor
A big warm 2018 hello to all of you!
Today, Dial M For Mousse (Emergency Dessert Squad Mystery # 3) is out!!!! It’s available in mass market paperback, digital, and audio (with the large print edition to follow in March)! The story itself is fun as the suspects in Winnie Johnson’s latest mystery are an eclectic bunch, which makes her sleuthing even more of a challenge. All the regulars are back to lend their support; Renee, Mr. Nelson, Bridget, Greg, and Jay. And, of course, there are some...

Holiday Three
Posts this week will be a bit sporadic with the holiday week and all, but I couldn’t let an opportunity for a “holiday” three things to go by…
Christmas Eve brought cookie making/decorating. Although we should use icing bags, we just use butter knives and go. Here’s my assortment…
Then it was off to church, to look at lights, and then come home and partake in a Christmas Eve dessert bar…
We played some games, got on our jammies, and off to be to wait for Santa to come. Angus set up a stin...

More Holiday Bits
Sorry I was AWOL yesterday. I hit the ground running at 6 a.m. (after only 4 hours of sleep) and didn’t sit down until dinner time.
Anyhoo, we’re looking at more holiday talk for today’s bits…
One think you’d really like, gift-wise, this year? What’s one question you’d like to ask Santa?

Ramblings
My mind is kind of all over the place this week with so many things I have to/want to do. Needless to say, my thoughts for today’s post are all over the place to…
*I spent a lovely day in the city yesterday with my aunt. We did an audio tour of Grand Central which was quite interesting. I’ve been in that building dozens and dozens of times and even I saw/learned things I hadn’t known before. And we had a nice, leisurely lunch with lots of talking (which I adored).
When I got home, I finally s...
